This was a lovely home and area. Pretty close to any and everything yet felt very private! House was exactly as pictured and truly had everything very well stocked! Host is super responsive, and just a pleasure to work with.

Great Place. Family had a blast! Would highly recommend, the cabin was comfortable, homey and overall a place of warmth! We were blessed to be able to stay here!!
The place was great! Clean, plenty of room, and had everything we needed. The views from the deck were beautiful. Quiet neighborhood with near zero cars driving around. Fairly steep streets, so watch out for snow winter weather. All the town activities were just a short drive away. We would definitely stay there again, especially during the summer to enjoy all the deck space and views.
Overall pleasant stay and experience. We asked if we could possibly check in before 4pm since we have a toddler and need to set up pack n play etc for bed time but they said this would be a fee of 75 plus tax, I felt this was pretty steep. Only provided one towel per guest and only a couple trash bags. There is a washer and dryer in the house but no detergent provided. The house was very clean at first glance but there was noticeable dust on tables/light fixtures and they left an envelope for tip for housekeeping despite the cleaning fee we already paid through VRBO. They outsource this rental to a third party company so most of the communication is via email. I also had to complete extra paperwork through the rental company stating names and ages of every person staying in the house. The house itself is very nice and has a great view. I think if the rental company paid a little more attention the the details it would be 5/5 stars.
The stay was great, lovely place. The drive in is a little interesting with very sharp turns and some steep inclines/declines there toward the end but if you bring what you need, you won't want to leave anyway!
the house is perfect for multiple families, as we had 3 with a total of 10 people. The house is a good location, great view, and Carolina Cabin was great to work with. The house could use a deep overall cleaning.. ** please note that if you are coming in snow, make sure you have chains or a 4WD.. Carolina Cabin was great to work with.
Roomy home with nice view. Overall stay was relaxing, hot tub was a plus. Only issues were the fireplace did not work the last couple days and the bed spread had stains.

Overall stay
We had a wonderful stay at Summit Creek.
The only issues we had were dishwasher tray was broken we were unable to use because plates had no prongs to hold them up. 5 under counter bulbs were out had to call and maintenance and they responded in a timely manner and replaced.
This house had everything we needed for the wide range of ages in our group! The views were gorgeous, the hot tub was relaxing, and the house was clean. We would stay here again!

Getaway from Lake Murray SC heat
We recently spent two weeks at Summit Creek. The cabin is clean and spacious and easily accommodated 6 adults with comfort and privacy. In our opinion, the location is great. Located at almost 4,000 feet elevation, we were 10 minutes away from Boone and Blowing Rock. The rear deck was great and we spent much of our time outside enjoying the cool temps and great view. The sun orientation (facing northwest) was not perfect, but except for 2 hours in the late afternoon the deck was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table as well. We look forward to returning to Summit Creek.

Gorgeous Views!!
The house is very well furnished, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook most anything. The dishwasher does need a little repair of the slots that hold the dishes as they seem to be broken in several places and it was a little difficult to place the larger dinner plates for washing. But that was absolutely the only problem we had. A gorgeous place to relax and enjoy the sites and nearby activities. Great memories created here!

Great place
We love Summit Creek, having rented twice in the last year. Great neighborhood, fantastic view, and super nice house. It is perfect for my family of five.
The last time we rented, we had a few issues that were attended to by the rental company nicely: 1) Hot tub needed more water so it would heat up, so we filled it with the hose. The hot tub was a little dirty though. Could use a good scrubbing
2) There were a couple of hornets nests on the eaves on the deck and staircase. My son got stung one day. He's OK thankfully. Carolina Cabin Rentals came right away to take care of the nests
3) The smoke alarm is super sensitive so it went off after we burned some toast one morning. It wouldn't turn off easily, kept on for several minutes and the fire truck ended up coming. All before our coffee! But we survived. :)
Lastly, the mattresses on the beds are a little soft, especially the upstairs master. But we put our kids in there and they didn't mind.
Several families gathered together over Presidents Day weekend for some mountain fun. This house was spacious — perfect to spread out, enjoy nature, have big dinner ins, and just reconnect. Hot tub worked great. Kids (ages 3-10) had a ball hiking around the property, playing on the porches, or shooting hoops in the driveway. So many pull out couches that allowed for easy configuration for the kids in the loft.
House is close proximity to App Ski Mtn, downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. We went tubing at Hawks Nest one day too.
Only challenge we had was internet was spotty at times, but we just embraced it and got outside. Gorgeous views, clean home, great location... we will definitely look to rent again!

Great place to stay! Cabin was professionally cleaned prior to our visit. Kitchen is more than adequately stocked with dishes pots pans silverware. Supplies for cleaning and toiletries were adequately stocked for start up of our visit. There were plenty of towels, and linens for our stay. Including towels for the great hot tub. The deck has multi million dollar views, and had several areas for seating and outside dining. The cabin is decorated tastefully, and the furniture was high-quality. There were several seating areas inside the cabin for entertaining. Cabin contains several games for children and adults to play. Highly recommend this cabin . We will definitely plan to stay again.

We had a great past weekend in Boone! Just a few things we wanted you to be aware of just in case you haven't heard yet. The toilet seat in the bedroom on the main floor had completely come off and the pullout upstairs was broke. We planned two to sleep there and it's a good thing we brought an air mattress. The WiFi worked the first night and then after that, never again. We tried turning it off and on and still wasn't working, not sure if it was because 10 phones or what. Just something to hopefully help the next group coming through. Other then that we had a fantastic time and will be back!
