Little Timber Creek Cabin Additional Room Details Living Room Queen Sleeper Sofa Views TV Main Floor Fireplace Fan Shared Bath Tub/Shower Combo
Welcome to Little Timber Creek Cabin!
Little Timber Creek Cabin is a cozy, little, two-story log cabin. It has a complete kitchen, a bathroom with a tub and shower, a living room with HDTV and Satellite programming, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and a wood-burning fireplace. The covered front porch looks down at the fire pit and creek. When the water is high, you can hear the water flowing. The rear deck houses the gas grill and the hot tub. The upstairs loft has a queen-size bed. Little Timber has heat and air conditioning and allows pets (dogs only, one per reservation). Little Timber Creek Cabin does not have a washer and dryer. There are, however, numerous laundromats about ten minutes away in Boone if needed during your stay. ***See the river access note at the bottom of the description.
The Timber Creek Cabins, centrally located in Valle Crucis, are just a few miles from the Original Mast General Store and the Valle Crucis Park. Boone and Banner Elk are less than ten miles away, and Blowing Rock is about thirteen miles away. As you cross over the small bridge onto the Timber Creek acreage, look for signs leading you to the Little Timber Cabin, which sits to the left of Big Timber Cabin. Little Timber has a fire pit down by the creek. Big Timber likewise has a fire pit, but it is closer to the front of the property. *Allows pets with an additional fee.
*Please note: Little Timber Creek Cabin and the neighboring Big Timber Creek Cabin can be booked together, offering a total of four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and sleeping arrangements for ten guests. Since both cabins also rent individually, they would both have to be available during your desired dates. ***Private access to the Watauga River is less than a mile from Little Timber Creek Cabin. The property owner also has a large, 6-acre riverfront meadow with hundreds of feet of river frontage a short drive away! Look for the sign that says "Timber Creek Cabins River Access." Bring your fishing poles, picnic baskets, rafts and tubes, kayaks, and canoes. Fish or float the river and have a family picnic on the river banks. A unique amenity for guests of Little Timber Creek and Big Timber Creek Cabins!

We loved our stay at Little Creek Cabin! The cabin was very cozy and provided the perfect getaway for us and our dogs. We met friends in Banner Elk and visited The Mast General store and had eaten at many restaurants. We plan to go back this summer as well

We are grateful for your feedback and it is our fondest hope that we can welcome you again to our home.
The Cabin is nice and cozy. We really enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the running stream in front of the cabin. The location is pretty much perfectly in between all of the activites in the area. We would be willing to stay here again.

Thank you so much for sharing! It is such a thrill when we hear that our guest had a great stay and the home provided a back drop for those memories and fun. Hope to have you as a guest again soon.
3 ski resorts about 30 minutes a way. Nice little cascading creek beside the cabin that you can enjoy from the front porch or the hot tub. Quiet and cozy. Great for a relaxing getaway with your partner. Best for 2 people as I think anymore would be a little tight.

I was glad the lights were left on for our arrival. The roads were a bit bumpy and scary up there. We can't wait to book up here again hopefully during the nicer warmer weather. The property manager was great and answered emails within a half hour.

Thank you so very much for sharing. We are thrilled that the home met your needs and sounds as if it exceeded expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back to our home again in the very near future.
Cabin was small but suitable. Not aware it was located with another cabin. Neighbors were load and annoying on Wednesday of our stay but other than that ok.
We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights to ring in 2023. Beautiful, serene setting and an Amazing Fireplace! Enjoyed daily fires, hot tub, beautiful stars and a glorious moon. There is a creek on the property which soothing waters can be heard all day. We enjoyed reading on the porch and a few hikes up the road and to the river downhill (a short drive).

The property is alot smaller than I thought, its quite tight with just 2 people. But it is quaint, clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Thank you so much for sharing. You are correct this is a wonderful "cozy" home, perfect for spending romantic time together. Please comeback and see us.
Cute house on a beautiful property overlooking a creek that is very soothing to hear from the porch. Lots of wildlife. The only thing that could have been better was the bed mattress. But otherwise, exactly what we were expecting and the property was actually better than we expected.

Thank you for sharing. Knowing that a guest enjoyed the home as well as had a great time is our motivating factor. Its our hope that you will revisit in the very near future.
We had an amazing time in this little cabin. It was perfect for me and my spouse. The cabin was clean aside from a couple bugs (the cabin is in the middle of woods, so what’re you gonna do?). Our main reason for going was to fly fish so the Timber Creek private access was very helpful. The hot tub made a long day of fishing so nice, and to top it off we woke up to a visit from some deer right outside on our last morning.

We enjoyed this small cabin. It was clean and everything was in working order. The driveway is incredibly steep, so be prepared for that. The view was nice and it was certainly a nice, quiet spot for a get away. Bring your own towels, the management did provide 2, but we needed some for the hot tub, and bring your own wine glasses if that's important to you. All appliances were new and worked. Overall, this was a great spot!

We Love the little Cabin. The location was great small town life without the rat race. No store’s nearby so you need to be prepared with food. There’s a couple of restaurants we ate at..The Targan Restaurant was great . But with that said the outside furniture needs an update and the swing is rotted and will hurt someone. We will go back !!!!

Thank you so much for sharing. We are always thrilled to hear from our guest, especially when they have had a great time. Its our hope that we see you again soon!
This property is everything you need for some rest and relaxation. Cozy cabin, hot tub, and fire pit by a beautiful stream. Loved it. Definitely coming back.
This is a great little cabin for two. The only issue is the cleanliness of the property. The front porch was covered in dirt and the outdoor furniture was too dirty to sit in. We spent some time sweeping the porches and cleaning the outdoor sitting cushions. The inside of the cabin was unkept. The general appearance inside the cabin was dusty and an accumulation of dirt and dust on the stair hand rails, behind doors and under furniture was visible. The tub/shower was not clean and lacked a starter kit of soap. No hands towels for the bathroom was also an issue. Another thing is that a starter kit of dish soap or cleaning pad is not provided. The prior guest must not have purchased any cleaning supplies so all the dishes and silverware were visibly dirty and greasy feeling. Overall we had a great time and the cabin is a wonderful space but the housekeeping and provisions for cleaning are lacking.
First time staying in a cabin like it will be booking again in the near future
