About this property

Cottage: 3005 Palmetto Blvd.

New appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher) and new deck! Three bedroom two bath cottage at Edisto! This cottage is one of the earlier homes with original tongue-and-groove paneling in some rooms. The home has been updated with new appliances, ceiling fans in all rooms, and central heat/air.

One bedroom has a queen bed and another has a set of twins and a full-sized crib. The third bedroom is small with a bunk bed set. . Guests must bring their own linens.

The dining room has a table for six. The deck has a table for 4. The front porch has a daybed. In addition, on this porch are four rockers, beach chairs, and toys and games. There is quite a collection of children's books about the beach and ocean, and puzzles and games, as well.

The cleaners are following all cleaning and maintenance guidelines as recommended during Covid-19. EPA number can be provided upon request.



Under the house is a wagon with many beach toys. Beach access is very convenient and the wagon can pull children or beach games such as bocce or paddle ball. The incredible bike trail is just a few steps away.

I am so grateful for this sweet place to stay in Edisto! The cottage is warm and homey, is so close to the beach, and has bikes to use on the wonderful bike path about a block away. The house has some quirks, like most of the burners on the stove not working, but the beds are comfy, the place is well cleaned, and Amelia answered quickly when I had questions. I love this place!

My family has been staying at this property for our annual beach trip for the past four years, and we always have a wonderful experience. Amelia is so kind and easy to work with, and we truly appreciate being able to stay in her beautiful home each year.We cook most of our meals during our vacation, so we especially appreciate that the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we need. The beach access is just a short walk away, which is perfect for my retired mom and makes getting to and from the beach very easy.We always enjoy our stay and look forward to coming back every year. The house was close to the beach and was clean. It is an older house, specifically the bathrooms, but has a nice overall feel too it. We enjoyed our stay here. The host was kind and responsive as well.

This bungalo was cozy and had everything we needed, except for tub. I wished there had been a functional tub . We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and close walking distance to the beach access. Also, thanks Amelia, for getting the bikes available for us.

Host was very nice, main shower could use updated. Found a few bugs but unit was pretty clean and very close to beach access. AC worked and kept house cool. Newer appliances in kitchen. Very Good value for the price.

The house is very reminiscent of the older homes of Edisto. We felt right at home and if you grew up going to Edisto, you will too. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Edisto home! The home is much larger than the few pictures indicate. The location is 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to Whaley's, perfect! I really enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck during the day. There is a sun porch that runs across the front of the house which I sat on the daybed and watched the cars go by in the evenings. I did not cook, but I did open a cabinet for a coffee cup and plate and they seemed to be well stocked. The queen bed slept very comfortably. The den is also a great space to hang out. I always enjoy a getaway to Edisto and I will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Amelia.
