Log Chalet Overlooking Pond and Mountain Sunset Views!

Situated on five acres, this log sided, post and beam chalet overlooks a small pond and has seasonal, mountain sunset views. It features 3 bedrooms (including loft), 1 1/2 half bathrooms with tile and a whirlpool tub, a large open loft/game/bed room complete with satellite TV, pool table, card table, Foosball, bar, dartboard and sitting area with futon. The home easily sleeps 6 and has a fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room, indoor/outdoor gas fireplace, skylights, deck , two porches, gas grill and a full basement with washer/dryer, ping pong table, pinball machine and 2 car garage. The property is also very nicely landscaped with rock walls and a stream. The area is abundant with wildlife and outdoor activities! Its only minutes from Dixville Notch State Park and the Balsams Wilderness Resort, Androscogin River, Akers Pond and Lake Umbagog. Additionally, Grafton Notch State Park, Sunday River Resort and the Rangely Lakes Region in Maine are only a short drive away! There is direct snowmobile trail access and we are very close to ATV trail access!

*All-Wheel Drive vehicles are necessary for winter travel!

The house was just as pictured and listed. It was clean and in a great location. We rode right to the snowmobile trails from the house. It has privacy and is also close to town if you need something. Definitely would stay there again.

Lovely home in the North Woods of NH

Very nicely decorated, comfortable home base. Quiet, dark skies for stargazing, near all the area has to offer. We did a lot of hiking, fishing, sightseeing and just hanging around the house playing pool, pinball, darts on rainy days. A wonderful stay!
