Located at 634 Monmouth St., our studio apartment in our little boutique hotel, is 3 blocks to the Northern Kentucky riverfront (Newport on the Levee), or a 20-minute walk to downtown Cincinnati/ REDS games. Surrounded by great restaurants, nightlife, and family activities. Close to aquarium, stadiums, shopping.

This was an amazing place to stay. We were there for a baseball game and found hotels to be expensive near the ball park, but a short walk over the bridge to the next state brought us to this Gem. Just across from the parking is an amazing place to eat, as well as several places on the main street.

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I loved this rental! The bed was actually comfortable which is a rare treat when it comes to vacation rentals! The owner was very helpful and accommodating allowing us a late checkout. So much to do within walking distance! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Love the Newport Inn!

We had such a nice stay! We love the character of the Inn and the fact that it is so clean and comfortable! Jeff is an amazing host making sure everything needed is available. Be sure to visit the Boutique.

Great, relaxing stay

My mom and I got away for a couple of days for a mom/daughter trip. Jeffrey and Terri were excellent hosts that added extra thoughtful touches to the place. Although the room was in the back of their boutique we had our own privacy. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others!

We love The Newport Inn!!

This was my second time at The Newport Inn and plan to book it each time we're in the area. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud and the bathroom shower is amazing.! Check in is a breeze and Jeff is quick to respond. Love the tall ceilings and the exposed brick. The little touches like snacks and drinks are a plus. I just love this place!

Great Getaway!

For our 2nd wedding anniversary I got us tickets to a Red Sox v Reds game as my husband is a huge Red Sox fan but Boston is a little far 😊 I thought we could make a day of it and stay the night. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations! Beautiful, clean room with incredible charm and everything we could need! Communication with the host(s) was impeccable! They were incredibly nice and responsive! I would highly recommend staying here! My husband and I will be back! Thank you!

overnight stay for a concert

This place was very walkable. a short 1 mile walk across the river to the Heritage bank Center and the Great American BallPark. Everything was provided for us, even 2 bottles of water in the fridge. Communication with Jeff was phenomenal and was quick to answer any questions and full of valuable information as where to eat, shop and drink. Would def recommend

Cute, and Cozy

OMGOSH!!! This property is amazing! I stayed in unit 5. It was just me and husband. My family rented the whole upstairs units. All units looks exactly what the listing states. Unit 5 is cozy, clean and very cute. The shower is awesome!!!! Towels, coffee pot, coffee and snacks all furnished. Within walking to distance to everything. Bars, restaurants, shopping, The reds, the aquarium, the purple people bridge…EVERYTHING!!!!! Ms. Terri is an awesome Host, please check out her boutique, get a haircut or enjoy a drink! One of all my family’s favorite time was with Ms. Terri enjoying a drink with her and her daughter. My family and I are already talking about going back next year! I high recommend The Newport Inn for your stay!

My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to go to Newport/Cincinnati for our anniversary. After searching through multiple prospective places to stay we decided to choose Newport because it was a bit cheaper than Cincy, and we liked tha charm of the city. Plus, with just a quick drive/walk over the bridge(s) you were in Cincinnati. The owners were extremely accommodating and gave perfect instructions to get to the property and what to do when you got there. Entering the room it was exactly (if not more) what I was expecting. I loved the look of it with the hardwood floors, the huge ceilings, the brick walls, the small kitchen equipped with sink, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and mini fridge. There were even light snacks and several drinks at no charge in our room. A great touch! My favorite thing about the place was the bathroom. Lol! That shower. I absolutely loved it. Made me want to build a roomy one just like it at my own house with rain showerhead and all. My only two complaints (and they are minute) would be the bed and the noise coming from the people upstairs. Everyone is used to their own bed at home and mine is a lot firmer. The bed at The Newport Inn was more like a pillow top. You sunk right in. I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t love it. As far as the noise goes...we were woken up at 6:30am to a bunch of noise above us. It sounded like furniture was being dragged across the floor, a child kept running back and forth, big booms and thuds from items being dropped on the floor, lots of creaking, and you could hear them talking and the TV. Because the ceilings were so high and we had wood floors...everything was amplified x 10. None of this was the owner’s fault, and I would even somewhat expect noise in an older home like this, but not at 6:30 in the morning. Basically it was rude of the people above us. A wee bit of advice to individuals with small children...don’t get an upstairs room if you can help it. Be courteous to your neighbors. You can hear everything. None of the small negatives would keep me from staying here again. Such a cool place! I’m so happy I found it on VRBO. Jeff was extremely helpful and I really appreciated his willingness to help with anything.

This 300 sqft Studio has a kitchenette, new Serta Queen iComfort bed and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. Located just a few blocks from the Ohio River, we are located right in the heart of the historic district in a beautiful turn of the century building. If you would also like to experience the big city, a walk or carriage ride to downtown Cincinnati creates a whole new dimension. The end result is a luxurious stay, which combines the best of both worlds.... and free parking!!! This unit receives one parking spot!
