Quick communication via text. The home was well stocked with items to stay for about a week. Cleanliness was good. The layout of the home along with the ocean view is amazing. Beds were comfortable. Furniture was in good condition and comfortable. The bonus room with sectional was great for family movie watching. Good possibility of returning in the future and would highly recommend to anyone.

This was our third visit to Ft. Awesome and it was great once again. Everything was super clean when we got there. The kitchen was stocked with all the amenities we needed - cookware, dishes, appliances. The view from this house is amazing. Every morning was a treat to grab a cup of coffee and just enjoy the view and the morning air. Same thing in the evening with remarkable sunsets. Our host was easy to contact and was very responsive. We look forward to visiting again.

Great location for atremding our graduate's ceremonies at Oregon State University. Plenty of room to spread out, quiet neighborhood, beautiful view, and a well stocked kitchen. We will stay here again of our travels bring us to Newport in the future.

We loved this place. We took our mom with us, and it was so nice that i was all one level. A couple small steps into the house but after that having it all one level was so convenient, along with the low profile shower. We werent expecting it, but it made it so much easier. We will definitely be going back.

I would have loved to give this property 5 stars. The ocean view was awesome and the amenities as described. Unfortunately the communication with the owner was non existent. The property was advertised as having 2 full bathrooms. We only had one working shower for 5 women during our entire stay!! The property manager responded to my text saying they had an issue a week ago they thought was resolved. She told me she had contacted the owner who handled maintenance issues. He did not even have the basic courtesy to respond. What should have been an awesome time at this rental was spoiled by an unresponsive owner. The issue could have been resolved very easily….instead we were ignored

We had a wonderful stay in Newport! The home was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. View was great. Barbecue was difficult to start. Hard to have a campfire when quiet time is 9:30 and it gets dark at nine. It makes you nervous to sit outside at night. Not worth the price.

We love it so much that it’s become a Thanksgiving tradition! We have already booked it for Thanksgiving next year which will be our third year at Fort Awesome for the holiday. We love cooking here and enjoying our sweet Duck for the holiday.

The house and view were great!However, kitchen drawers were dirty, couch in main room had snot on it (which I cleaned), quite a few cobwebs around the ceiling, and the air filter was very thick with dust. Regardless, the house was so nice that we were able to ignore those issues pretty quickly.
