Reviewer Comments:
The road in and out was tricky, but the property itself was very comfortable and cozy. Having the creek run by the house is so relaxing.
The cabin was a perfect getaway and just secluded enough to feel all by yourself although close enough to town to be super convenient. Would definitely revisit.

We stayed for a week to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was fabulous! The master shower was luxurious and bed slept very comfortably. The view from the hot tub was gorgeous with the fall colors and was very private. The cabin was also easy to access which is a big plus.
Be prepared to cross a small stream on the way up to the cabin

Thank you. Yes we love the back yard area that features a rushing creek. The fire pit is a nice touch to evenings. Yes, there are 2 ways to access the property. One is thru the small creek bed which locals call "The Mountain Carwash"!
You may also access the property from above which avoids the creek entry to the home.
First time ever being out of town for Christmas..we chose this place because my Mom has a wheelchair..it was a great place to stay..we really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace..will definitely return maybe in the Spring.
We had a fantastic time at the cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children. The kids loved exploring the woods and stream. The cabin is well provisioned, we cooked all meals there and I ended up bringing way more staples than I needed. The drive up to the cabin was no joke even without any snow on the ground as we did not have 4 wheel drive so definitely suggest you have it. One thing to know is that there are not any grocery options open at night so make sure you have a plan prior to then. Also be aware you need to drive the garbage approximately 20 minutes away as there is no local pickup. Not deal breakers for us but may be for others.
This cabin is very relaxing. Its located close enough to the town of Maggie Valley for convenience but secluded enough for privacy and relaxation. We do recommend 4WD for the access as its definitely steep and located on 1 lane gravel road access. The babbling brook and landscape add to the calm ambiance. Simple checkin and checkout. Kitchen is well stocked but be sure to bring your paper products (TP).
We had a great week. The property has everything for a mountain get away.

Cabin was beautiful, clean and tucked away. The only issues we had was road leading into cabin we were on motorcycles and road was very rough with Ruts and large gravel. Should list that to warn others motorcyclists. We had a wonderful stay!

Reviewer Comments:
It was an overall great experience. Only critiques I would have was the cabins kitchen and living room were very cold. I would also have a crockpot available for use. I loved the remoteness and the sound of the creek. We also especially loved the Hot tub.
Cabin was clean, easy to get in. After 7 hour drive, hot tub would have been nice, however, temp set at 84, cold. Took 24 hours to reach 103. Well equipped, would think a box of facial tissues might be included, but you would be wrong. Inviting fireplace, not a stick of wood provided. Plastic Adirondack chairs on the front porch incredibly uncomfortable without some cushions, none provided. It was a comfortable cabin, bed and bedding nice. Location a short drive to the Blue Ridge was convenient. Nearest grocery about 15 miles, each way. Access is via a steep gravel road in serious need of paving, or at least grading. We enjoyed our stay, however will look for a real covered porch for our next rental.

Hauling garbage 10 miles every day was a pain. WiFi should not be listed as it is not workable and listing Direct TV as an option is a joke with NO ESPN, GSN,Golf Channel nor CBS

Had a very nice lady named Melissa got us through making our stay as easy as possible we were concerned about the hurricane that came through but lo and behold the cabin was beautiful we had a great time I would recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to just get away you hear the creek at night the creek even goes over the road a little so you have to have a vehicle that goes through rocks and water the cabin was equipped with everything you would need except for food I had a fireplace you had to bring your own firewood but that wasn't a problem we will definitely be back and we definitely recommend it to anyone.
I loved it! It’s beautiful! It was very clean. No dust, dirt or bugs. Accurate description of the cabin including the directions to get too it. Follow the directions!! Very quiet and secluded-loved it! The hot tub was awesome. We were two old ladies/friends just wanting to be where we could relax and be kinda close to other places to go and have fun. My heart melted when we saw the creek was called Jonathan’s Creek. My son’s name is Jonathan and he passed 10 years ago. It was meant for me to stay at Mountain Music. Melissa was very responsive. Very easy check in and check out. I give Mountain Music and Melissa 5 out of 5 stars!! I had a blast!!

Reviewer Comments:
This is a beautiful cabin very spacious. We loved the experience. The only issue I would bring up for future renters is that you for sure need a 4x4 to get to the property. The main reason I rented it was so that my mother who is handicap in a wheelchair And requires a handicap van to enjoy a beautiful cabin. There was no possible way to get her van to the property thru the creek we almost got hung at dark when we arrived the other way we drug. I would suggest when you say in your advertisement that this cabin is handicap accessible to make a disclaimer that a handicap van is not a vehicle that can access the cabin. Unfortunately she had to stay with other members of our party at a Hotel in Maggie Valley.
