Amazing farm house built in 1884 that's been upgraded and modernized. Located on Lake George with 550 ft of lake frontage including dock and private stony point with fire pit. Just two minutes from the historical town of Ticonderoga and five minutes from the fort. House has covered and open outdoor deck to fully enjoy this special paradise! This is a quiet area of the lake with very calm water. The house is perfect for a quiet enjoyment of nature with plenty of hiking trails nearby. Please note there is internet but there are no televisions in the home. Kayaks on site and a marina with boat rental is a few doors down!
This is a historic home and rocky point built on the site of an old French fort. The property as had the like of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Marquis De Montcalm, Gen Abercrombie and countless other historic figures walk its lawn!

Well appointed house with stunning views of the lake. William provided excellent communication and promptly answered all of our questions. Having the marina right next door was really convenient for renting a boat. We can't wait to return again next year!
Beautiful house which was perfect for our little holiday getaway. We loved the house decor and the views from every window. It was pefect for what we wanted (snow on the ground!) but might be even better for a summer getaway!
The house and property are stunning -- the pictures do not begin to do it justice. We tried to never leave unless we needed more groceries or other essentials. Large flat front yard for playing games, epic sunsets in the backyard and screened-in porch, water access, comfortable beds and couch, impeccable style throughout, and an excellent beach with a playground two miles down the road. Not to mention the marina next door!
The owners were lovely hosts -- extremely responsive and provided helpful suggestions.
I almost don't want to leave such a glowing review, because I want this house available for me to book every year!

Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure having you!
This is s great house! We were a group of friends gathered to celebrate a mid-century milestone! We needed a place that was both intimate and entertaining, elegant yet durable, and this house has both. We rented a boat at the marina next door for four days and were out on the water everyday for at least five hours. I got up on waterskis for the first time since I was a teenager! We would come back to the house for grilled dinners on the back porch. Recently remodeled, the house has great water pressure, gas fireplace and grill, and good heating. The host is responsive and kind.
The house was well kept and lovely, and the property is right on the lake. We got lucky with some really perfect weather the last week of March and we had a fantastic stay.
From start to finish, our vacation was outstanding! The home is exactly as pictured - newly renovated and immaculately maintained on a picturesque lakefront property. Complete with paddle boards and kayaks, high end details and luxury finishes throughout the house offered a hotel-like experience, with the comforts and convenience of home. The owner was exceptionally welcoming and easily accessible. We hope to be back next summer!
This 1880's classic farmhouse, with its thoughtful and aesthetic renovation, mixes history and luxury effortlessly. Comfort, charm, whimsy, modern updates, privacy and bucolic lawn leading down to the stony point dock make this farmhouse a delight. The owners are as lovely as their home. A true historic gem, polished and restored on Lake George!
