Rare Bear Luxury Cabin near ski slopes /town with beautiful ski slope views


Big Bear Luxury Cabin is approximately 2000 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with a loft. VERY CLEAN AND NEWER CABIN. GORGEOUS VIEWS OF THE SKI SLOPES FROM THE DECK AND INSIDE THE CABIN. It has a LEVEL ENTRY way for easy access to the Cabin. Our cabin sleeps 8 comfortably and has parking for 2 vehicles. We have a brand new 7 person spa with a newly built privacy fence. There is no street parking so only 2 vehicles. You will find Smart TV's in every room with satellite, and you can use free internet service. Games, books, and XBox are in the living room and loft for your enjoyment. You can count on the cabin being professionally cleaned before you check in! It is a beautiful place to stay!! Enjoy:)

Pillows, blankets, linens, and towels are provided. There is a washer and dryer. You will need to provide your own laundry soap.

Views can be enjoyed from the deck or inside the home with large gorgeous windows. Kitchen is equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, and pans for you to prepare meals. There is also a large table and a large island with seating. A microwave, coffee pot, and toaster are also provided for your use.

Our cabin is only 5 minutes from the lake or village, and less than a mile away from Bear Mountain ski slopes. You can be assured that the cabin is cleaned professionally before you check in. Enjoy your stay on the mountain in a beautiful luxury cabin!!!

Beautiful place near town but still feels private. Lots of space, big kitchen, hot tub and BBQ. Son loved the loft area and video games. Communcation with owners easy and responsive. Had some issues with cleanness but expressed to owner who open to hearing feedback.

Fantastic getaway cabin

Very well located and well equipped cabin, with an excellent private jacuzzi, and fantastic view. Comfortable furniture and beds. A couple minutes to stores, restaurants, entertainment, and the lake amenities. Quiet neighborhood with little traffic. A loft with games and seating if you have kids with you. A modern home, with cabin style decor.

My family of 4 stayed at Rare Bear for Thanksgiving week. It worked perfectly for us. The house is just as charming as the pictures. The feel of a log cabin with all the log trim and stairs but fresh and new with all the conveniences and space of a new home. Perfect for Thanksgiving because I had a big, well equipped kitchen for my cooking. Lots of room for the kids, including a loft area to hang out. Plus we had perfect crisp weather for hiking. And we were able to bring our dog along! It couldn't have been a better holiday vacation.

Relax in a luxurious cabin!

Everything about this place is 5 stars!! This cabin is spectacular, luxurious, beautifully crafted and decorated! We watched the sunrise in the hot tub every morning! We cooked in the large beautiful kitchen, our dogs loved this place! (A note about bringing your dogs-never leave them off leash or unattended-this cabin sits at the foot of the beautiful mountains, in the midst of wildlife-which means yes-coyotes.) Our dogs are totally fine and safe at home but that’s because we were vigilant. The dogs loved looking over the cabin from the loft, and spent their time watching wild life from the window. We were so happy to bring them! Truly a spectacular place to stay! Probably the best Vrbo/Airbnb place I’ve stayed! Also The owners were very good with communication, and responded promptly.

My wife and I stay at a lot of short term rentals, and we were very impressed with this one. The cabin was clean and comfortable especially the king size bed in the master bedroom. We were minutes from everything, restaurants, skiing, hiking, and of course the lake. We hated to leave.

We spent a couple of nights and definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Big Bear. It's a very comfortable 2-story cabin with extra large windows that fill most of the rooms with sunshine throughout the day. The panoramic views of the ski mountain are simply breathtaking. Truly a great place to hang out and relax!

Beautiful cabin, wonderful stay!

Our family just stayed at the Rare Bear for a ski trip, and can't say enough good things about it! The cabin is beautiful, immaculately clean, clearly recently remodeled, very modern, comfortable and the perfect size for a family or group. We loved all of the woodwork and thoughtful design touches throughout the home. (My dad marveled at the timber staircase!) We had five in our group -- four adults and one 5-year old. Our daughter loved sleeping in the bunk bed room. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom which was very roomy, and the king bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the large windows upstairs are beautiful -- we enjoyed watching the snow while staying cozy in the living room near the fireplace, or eating at the large dining table. The house is conveniently located very close to shopping and dining, and a short drive to the slopes. The little neighborhood where the house is situated is lovely and very quiet. We never heard any noise in the evenings. One thing to be aware of is that there is no garage or covered parking, so if you are there on a snowy weekend, you'll need to do some shoveling. We will definitely reserve this home again next time we make a group trip to Big Bear! Thanks, Chad!

Great Getaway

We had a great experience at the Rare Bear. The location was great. We rode mountain bikes right from the house to Summit all day then back to the cabin. The place was very nice inside and out. We enjoyed bar-b-qing outside, playing games with the kids, and adult happy hour each night. We would definitely keep Rare on the top of our list for the perfect Big Bear getaway.

An amazing cabin with lots of room and views!!!

This cabin was a great place to stay for a girls weekend and it is big enough to have a large family stay with plenty of room to relax and hang out. I enjoyed the large kitchen and master suite. The owners have done a lot to make this big open cabin cozy and giving you the feeling you are in the mountains inside the cabin. It is close to everything you need. 5 stars is not enough!! ;)
