Real Escapes Properties presents this two bedroom, two bath condominium located at the desirable Beach Club on St. Simons – an amazing oceanfront community.

This residence features a fully-equipped kitchen, private balcony, and a combined living and dining area. The kitchen in this unit has been updated. This is a nice unit with a king size master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a nice guest room with two twin beds. The dining room table seats 4. From the balcony, you can see North Breakers pool and the ocean beyond.

The Beach Club at St. Simons Island is a well-established, gated community with beautifully landscaped grounds and loads of amenities. This long-time destination favorite for families and couples caters to a lifestyle of comfort, convenience and leisure.
Amenities include a large swimming pool, children's pool, two hot tubs, a tennis court, fitness center and a business center with complimentary internet access.

At Beach Club, you are walking distance to some of the Island’s favorite restaurants such as Crabdaddy’s, The Crab Trap, Beachcomber and the new Barrier Island Brewery.

Parking is available for two vehicles under the living area of Beach Club. Elevators are accessible in many different locations.

Short getaway

Direct beach access is convenient. Great resort location Nice pool. Unit was clean but extremely dated. I prefer key pad check in instead of going to separate location to get keys and check in information packet. Keys had to be dropped off at separate location. People in the management office were very nice.

Great location!

The condo was great and we appreciated the vintage charm- think Golden Girls. And of course, the location and pool area were wonderful! Our only suggestion is to pull up the carpet and put some febreeze plug-ins throughout the space. There was a slight odor that we couldn’t get rid of - I think it’s the carpet. Other than that though, we loved it!

The room was very outdated, walls had markings on them, there was 2 hot tubs and neither of them worked and they were both dirty. The pool seemed ok. The pots and pans were old and had no more non stick left in them, hard to use and clean.

The location is excellent and walkable, the proximity to the beach is unbeatable and the pool area is nice as well. However, if you’re looking to use the pool know that people put their towels out very early, which is really frustrating. This is NOT the owner or rental management company’s fault but please be aware. The unit is nicely updated in the main areas and I hope the bathrooms are next because they're original. The complex is older so there is only one small elevator, the parking spots are small so we only used the elevator upon arrival and departure with our luggage. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to return next summer.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the condo most of our trip because my 2 year old and 10 month old got sick while on vacation! 😫 Overall, the property was clean but was dated. We personally did not enjoy the carpeting, especially with two littles. There was an old vacuum cleaner in one of the closets we did utilize! Otherwise, nice stay and would definitely book again. Property manager was super nice and accommodating, bringing us some supplies and sending maintenance when needed (tub would not fully function and stop).

Broken Fridge !!!

Great condo but the fridge/freezer broke down on our first day. We lost countless food items, bags of ice, you name it. We were counting on cooking all our meals but we couldnt do it with all the fridge/freezer items going bad. Eventually a small portable unit was brought in and set in the dining room - tiny freezer and fridge space. Had to throw everything out.

Not enough outlet to plug in items and the ones there are, are in weird places example behind door. Double sink bathroom and only one outlet. Deck had not been sweep before we got there dirty and sandy. Furniture wore out.

June Experience

The condo was adequate. I don't know how often the owners stay there. It seemed obvious to me that they use it mostly for rentals. The carpet was stained, as was the upholstery on the sofa and chairs. There were lots of scuff marks on the walls and the throw rug in the kitchen needs to be washed or replaced. I liked the location. We had a partial view of the ocean which was nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly liked St. Simons Island, the beaches and the community. We were fortunate to enjoy superb weather almost the entire time we were there, including two and a half weeks (beginning in mid-February) of unseasonably warm temperatures. While the Beach Club is well situated northeast of the village the facility is older and lacks some amenities we prefer. Specifically, unless one has an end unit (only two on each floor) there is no direct, unobstructed view of the beach. Secondly, the WiFi is shared, insecure and slow. The staff at the Beach Club, however, was very helpful and friendly. We'd like to find another rental that does not have the two drawbacks mentioned.

The facilities, particularly around the pool and the business center were great. Great Escapes was a delight to work with. The appliances in the kitchen had just been replaced, which was nice. The disappointments were as follows: (1) we prefer a unit that provides a full view of the beach, not peeking around the end of the balcony. (2) the community WiFi was unsecured, slow, and would not permit the use of either our Sonos music system nor the streaming of video; (3) why the owners did not replace the dreadful kitchen floor is a mystery if they were going to spend on all new appliances; and (4) the carpet, particularly in the living room, is in dire need of a major cleaning. The Staff at the Beach Club was friendly, helpful and responsive.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros about the condo:-The condo itself was nice and clean. -The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Cons about the condo:-the pool in the picture off the balcony is not the complex's pool. This condo faces the outside of the horseshoe and the pool is on the inside of the horseshoe. We were disappointed bc we thought we could see our teenage boys at the pool while we ran up to make lunch. -one of the twin bed frames squeaked so badly that my son (who does toss and turn a lot) had to put the mattress on the floor and ended up moving to the couch bed. Pros about the complex:The location is great. It was super easy to get to and from the beach. Cons about the complex: -There was a very strange potent smell in the interior hallway of the condos all week. The best way to describe it was pickles and feet (not a good combo). -The pool and hot tub were SO strong with chlorine that our teenage kids had rashes, red chapped looking skin and burning eyes (they swim all the time in vacation pools and have never complained like they did here). We did alert the front desk to test the chemical level in the pool and hot tub.
