Summer Sunsets over Vancouver Island to the West, sunrises over Mount Baker to the East - Sucia, Patos, and Matia Island National Monuments center stage. Truly world class, 180 degree breath taking views! With some luck you might even catch a display of the Northern Lights in all their glory.

Our beautiful home was built by Windsong Custom Homes, every detail a work of the finest craftsmanship.

MAIN HOUSE: 2800sf with three bedrooms plus den, 2 1/2 baths and includes:

Bedroom 1 (King Bed)
Bedroom 2 (King Bed),
Bedroom 3 (Two Long Twin Beds, or One King)
Den (One Queen Sleeper Sofa w/ Inflatable Mattress).

State of the art entertainment center, including 4K LG Oled 65” TV, Marantz Surround Sound, Sonos, and 4K Apple TV.


GUEST COTTAGE: 1,000 sf, one full bath, and includes:

Upstairs (One King Bed) Lots of floor space for tenant provided floor mats and sleeping bags.

Downstairs (One Queen Sleeper Sofa w/ Inflatable Mattress).


GAME ROOM: 500 sf, one full bath, and includes:

Two standard twin beds, ping pong table, and pool table.

Outdoors, our home includes multiple decks, 400sf flagstone patio w/fire pit overlooking…everything. Hot tub, Weber gas bbq, Primo wood bbq, outdoor dining, overlooking…everything.


Our home is located an easy bike ride from charming Eastsound Village. Eastsound has wonderful shopping, groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.


1/2 mile walk from the Orcas Island airport. Kenmore Airlines has daily flights from Boeing Field. Boeing Field is an easy Uber and short drive from SeaTac. Better, bring your own plane!


Easy walk to Brandt's Landing Marina. Our 35 foot slip is available for an additional $85/day. Copy of insurance and registration required in advance. Bring your own boat!

A beautiful home and property on a gem of an island

We love Orcas and this was our 4th family reunion there. This was, by far, one of the best houses we’ve stayed in and it had the most amazing views from sunrise to sunset. There was enough room for our family of 10 to sleep and lounge comfortably. Highly recommend!

I’m not sure this property could be any better. Such a beautiful compound with the most astounding views. We were there with extended family - ages 4 to 70’s and we all adored it. Loved getting up with the sun and watching the birds and staying up late to stargaze. So much to do on the island from shopping at the eclectic stores to kayak trips and whale watching. Highly recommend.

International Friend Retreat

We had several couples converge on Orcas to enjoy the beauty, see some whales, and reconnect with friends. This property was just the ticket for an exceptional week. Walking distance to Eastsound but yet separated to enjoy peace and unbelievable sunrises and sunsets. Amazing hosts which added to the enjoyment.

So amazing, this was our second time here.

This is our second time at this beautiful Eastsound home. Tranquil, relaxation, amazing views, all the amenities you need and many we didn’t know we needed. Loved to see the deers playing in the front yard. So many great home updates since our first trip here. Jeff also made some great suggestions and we took a private charter whale watching trip that’s was also spectacular. Can’t wait for trip 3!

I cant say enough great things about this beautiful property. Everything exceeded expectations. John was quick to respond to any questions. This was an amazing and very comfortable property! Everything was perfect and easy to maneuver!

I would highly recommend this property we had a large group and had plenty of room to spread out when needed. The views from every window were spectacular! We saw two bald eagles in a tree just outside the house which was very special! The house was stocked with every board game you can imagine which made for lots of fun family nights. The kitchen was large and well stocked with everything needed to cook a large Thanksgiving meal! I cannot say enough good things about how wonderful this property was and how easy it made our trip across the country with 8 people. The host was fantastic and was very responsive!

A+ All The Way!!

This was the second time we stayed at Jeff Hanson's house. The second time was just as awesome as the first. The house itself is beautiful and well appointed. But the location cannot be beat. We saw orcas go by one night, and the eagles were in and out of the trees on the property all day long. I can't think of another place where you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening from the same chair. I can't recommend Jeff's place enough. If you are lucky enough to get there, I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Spectacular Eastsound home

We loved our stay in this beautiful family compound!! The views of the water from the windows are amazing and wow you as soon as you walk through the front door of the main house! We used both the main and guest houses for our stay and found both to be exceptionally clean, the kitchens well-equipped, and the beds very comfortable. The owner, Jeff, was extremely responsive to questions before and during our stay and was very helpful in providing recommendations of his personal favorite activities and restaurants on Orcas Island. Jeff emailed us that he was visiting the property the day before our arrival to make sure everything was perfect for our stay....and that it was....PERFECT!! Truly a fantastic home away from home in the most beautiful setting!! Highly recommend a visit here and hope to come back ourselves!! The Nugents Arlington, VA

The most perfect home on Orcas Island

Jeff's home could not be beat with regard to location, the gorgeous house and Jeff's responsiveness to every question. There is nothing Jeff overlooked as he appointed his home, especially the beautiful kitchen. We enjoyed cooking and then sharing our meals on the beautiful deck watching the sun set. Also, when the air is clear you have an unbelievable view of Mt. Baker. We were there almost three days before the air cleared (there were fires in BC) and the mountain appeared. What a surprise! We enjoyed the entire property, the cottage is adorable, the paddle boards, the lower patio to drink morning coffee. We will be back and can't wait. Jeff's home was way more than a place to stay. It made our trip!

Location and property so beautiful!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful location and convenient setup! Our family group of 14 enjoyed the lovely, large and private backyard overlooking the water and distant islands - each afternoon we lounged in the chairs with books (after morning hikes) and each evening ate dinner at the patio dining area. We enjoyed board games in the spacious living room area. We watched the sun set in a blaze of colors every night! The spacious property had *everything* we needed and more. the setup was perfect for our group: The large main house, the guest house and the room over the garage gave us ample space to spread out! The kitchen was very well stocked!! This truly lovely property, in all its aspects, made it easy for our large family to relax and have a memorable time together. Also, Jeff got back to me quickly whenever I had a question about this or that. Our family agreed, without question: best property and vaca ever!

Over the top stay!

We loved the location with the 180 degree views of Mt Baker and the islands. The main home is beautifully appointed and rooms are good sized. The guest house worked perfectly for the family with 3 kids, and the older kids loved escaping to the game room. The owner is a photographer, so an extra treat was getting to see his artwork in the house. We were lucky to be on Orcas for a warm spell, but could have used a few fans in the bedrooms, one night was very still. Still think of our dinners on the deck watching the sky turn from blue to opal to orange. We hope to come back.

We had a fantastic family trip in Orcas, with 12 family members staying at the house. Everything was perfect, highlights of the trip were making s’mores at the fire pit, walking down to the beach, sunset views, nearby walks into Eastsound, and family games on the deck. Highly recommend this home, especially for families.

One of a kind!

My entire family of 12 (my wife and I, 3 kids and their spouses and 4 grandkids) stayed at this property for 8 nights in late June 2022. This property is as advertised. Sleeps 12 comfortably, clean and well equipped with ample parking. The water and mountain views from the rear of the house are spectacular and the sunsets are breathtaking. The landscaping and yard art are beautiful. It is located on the water (with a stairway to the beach) in a private and quiet area close to Eastsound. The game room, board games, hot tub and the large rear yard kept the grandkids busy. We have been fortunate to get together as a family in great houses from Hawaii and Montana to the Jersey Shore. This is by far the best house to date. Highly recommend for all ages!
