Wonderful and clean house with lots of space and unbelievable views!!!Great location that you can get anywhere in less than 30 minutes.Definitely recommend and would stay again!
Waterfront view was fantastic. Having room for 3 couples and access to a kitchen made the stay so much more comfortable & enjoyable than a hotel. Quiet peaceful setting, complete with the scent of Christmas trees and wild turkeys wandering around
What an amazing place. Spectacular views, comfortable & quiet. Close to Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park. Our host thought of everything we could possibly need to make us feel at home. We will most certainly return!
My siblings and I had a great time visiting Acadia National Park! The house was in a great location not too far from the visitors center park entrance. The house was beautiful! Would definitely recommend others looking for an oasis to retreat to after a day in the park or Bar Harbor.
We loved our stay in Trenton, ME. The house was clean and roomy. The deck views were amazing. Beds were comfortable. Check in was easy. Close access to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
Property was spotless! We had turkeys and deer in our yard ....the deck was amazing....we enjoyed every evening out there...also during tides saw the pogis and seals....kitchen was nicely supplied with anything you would need for cooking etc.Only lacking was TP....be sure and get that before you get there. We loved the place and even the notes!!
The property is secluded yet near Bar Harbor and Acadia, the perfect place for our family trip. The house was comfortable, the deck and outdoor fireplace were our favorite places.
Clean, large, comfy, everything you need. This is a great property.

Thank you Marc, so happy to hear you enjoyed our home. We appreciate the care you showed during your stay, the house looked great upon check out. Welcome back anytime!
This property is simply amazing! We saw seals, birds, even a bald eagle, deer and a family of skunks. One of our favorite things to do was to just sit on the deck. It truly was amazing! It is also close to Bar Harbor, Seal Cove and all the towns so we could explore those too. The house has enough space to accommodate large groups. Communication with the host was great. We will definitely go back.
This property is stunning and is a great example of the beauty you will experience if you've never been to Maine. It was quiet and the water views were amazing.
Wonderful view, convienent, host was quite responsive and easy to talk to. Probably the cleanest vrbo we have ever been in. Wouldn't hesitate to use it again
This property was perfect for our party of 3 couples. It is very private and the water view is beautiful. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything needed for our week. The location provides easy access to Acadia, Bar Harbor and other quaint small towns. I highly recommend this property
We were fortunate to find Goose Cove Cottage, a relaxing place to unwind while visiting Acadia National Park. This spotless home is very comfortable, the kitchen spacious and easy to work in, with a deck and firepit with water view. The host was very responsive, gave excellent directions; we would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
This property is beautiful. Felt like we were on vacation without ever having to leave. Had everything we needed. The view is epic. Wanda and William were great hosts.
We stayed at the height of fall foliage and the views were spectacular. It was so peaceful and quiet sitting out on the deck. The house had everything you could think of. Definitely would stay again!
We really enjoyed our time here! It was a beautiful cottage and so centrally located for all of our activities. We enjoyed lots of time in Bar Harbor, Acadia, at the antiques shops towards Bangor and up in Moosehead Lake. It was so nice to be able to spread out, each with our own room, at a cozy home each night. The hosts were very friendly and respectful. Highly recommend!!
The most wonderful house near Acadia National Park--can't be beat on cleanliness, comfort, amazing views, communication with responsive hosts, and proximity to Acadia National Park. Would recommend 100% and hope to be back again soon!

About the host

Bill is a small business owner and has always shown an interest in Maine's beautiful waterfront properties. We thought building rental cottages would not only be a good investment but they would allow us to enjoy them as a getaway as well. We have built two cottages since 2004 and have met wonderful people from all over. This is a great way to invest but also enjoy along the way.
Why they chose this property
Bill and I love the ocean and this property was the perfect location for our second rental cottage. It has a great view of Western Bay and Acadia Mountains. There is a lot of wildlife in this area and we enjoy watching the seagulls, ducks, deer and the chipmunks as they visit on occasion. One family who has rented from us twice now...saw a Moose walk along the driveway! No pictures but I keep my eyes open in case he returns while I am there.
What makes this property unique
An outdoor fireplace which is perfect on those quiet summer nights.
