Charming Craftsman- Downtown Santa Barbara. Location. New HVAC.

Charming, 1920's original Craftsman home in excellent, central location. Walk two blocks to downtown shopping and restaurants. The property has 98 walk score. Guests who stay with us rarely touch their car when staying - everything is walking distance . Enjoy a glass of wine on the front covered porch. Then walk into town for dinner at one of many foodie-approved restaurants. Wake up to a morning jog or walk on the beach. Note: This IS a downtown location and street noise has to be expected even late evening/ night hours. Brand new remodeled bathroom, brand new AC system, WiFi/internet Access, NO TV.

Max four guests. NO sleeping on couches, NO exceptions. Violators are charged $100 per incident.NO bikes inside the house.

The house is located two blocks (walking score 98) to the hub of shopping on State Street. Home is sunny, airy, featuring original douglas fir floors throughout. Brand new remodeled Jack and Jill bathroom with radiant heated (NUHeat ) floors, for that comfy bare foot experience.

We do require a 3-night minimum on certain holidays/special events, such as 4th. of July, The California Wine Festival (July 20+21), Spanish Days (Aug 3.4), X-Mas etc.

It was the perfect size and perfect spot. Close to downtown and the beach. Charming house with a fully loaded kitchen- though we didn’t end up cooking with so many fun restaurants close by. Always found parking on the street. Floors a little creaky so early risers had to tread lightly! :)

We were in town for our sons wedding. We were bringing my elderly father who we beed to keep close to us. The house was perfect for us. Perfect location for where we had to go. Connie was very accommodating to our needs. The house brought back beautiful memories to my dad of the home he lived in when he was a child. He said your home resembled it.

Home Base for our UCSB Graduation Visit

This charming cottage was the perfect place for our Santa Barbara visit that included a commencement celebration and exploration of the local area. The cottage itself is welcoming and comfortable, the drive to campus is short, and the walk downtown is an easy one. Enjoy!

Cute historic cottage right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara was perfect for a weekend stay. I love the charm of old homes. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch at the end of a long day. No issues to speak of. Parking was strictly on the road only and sometimes we had to walk a few blocks but it was not bad at all. We would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable spot for me and my sister--two bedrooms with a connecting shared bathroom. Big living room/dining room and kitchen with all the amenities. Thoughtful details like beach towels and chairs! Loved the porch and the location--walkable to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Bus stop on the corner. All-around wonderful visit!
