Fantastic guests. We would be thrilled if they chose to come back.
We had our entire family of 12 at this wonderful property. we had plenty of space and the house was extremely comfortable. The owners were accessible and very kind. We would highly recommend it.
A great property for spending time at Winnipesaukee. The owners are lovely and the home is accommodating for large groups and sweet. Would visit again. Thanks Richard and Betsy!!
Richard's lake house was absolutely amazing! Very secluded and quiet, you'll feel like you have a small portion of the lake to yourselves.
The house is in great shape and has all the amenities needed, we were comfortable there with a baby and multiple family members.
I'd recommend to anyone looking for a stay on Winnipesauke, we will book again!
Everything is delightful—spacious, comfortable, lovely view, right on the lake, quiet and peaceful, air conditioning for any really hot days, excellent support from owners. . The kitchen is for real cooks, cooking real meals, even for a crowd. It has everything you need. The kayaks, paddleboard and all the games, books and puzzles are a plus. My family had a wonderful week. You can’t go wrong with this rental.
We had a great time at this property. Richard and Betsy were extremely kind and accommodating. The property was perfect for our family, and extended family this summer. Thank you!
My family had a wonderful time at LoonRise; it’s truly a slice of heaven ! Richard and Betsy couldn’t have been more hospitable and the house is well stocked and so charming! We definitely hope to rent again !

Prim and her family were a pleasure and managed to have a wonderful time despite a string of rainy days. We would gladly have them as return guests.
House was wonderful as were the owners. Great area for the little ones to swim as well as adults. Well stocked and clean...everything we needed was in the kitchen and plenty of room to spread out for our family. Loved every minute!
We had a very comfortable and relaxing week at Loonrise. The house is beautiful, spacious and has everything you need. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming from the dock. Richard was the perfect host.
Our family of six adults and three teenagers had a wonderful time at Lloonrise. Such a beautiful setting conducive to swimming kayaking, relaxing reading hiking you name it. With Wolfboro so close by there’s no limit to what you can do. We discovered a new coffee shop near Tuftonboro called Crust and Crumb (I believe) its treats were a difficult thing to resist. Highly recommend And its treats were a difficult thing to resist. Highly recommend low rise loon rise.Loonrise.
We had plenty of room for our family in this spacious and comfortable house. It is a great location on a quiet cove for kids and adults to swim, kayak, boat and fish. Also, some great spotting of wildlife in the woods surrounding the property. The kids also especially enjoyed finding treasures in the games/toy closet when the weather wasn't cooperative.
Property was large and as pictured. The use of the dock was great and allowed us to really enjoy Winnipesaukee. Richard and his wife were extremely helpful and welcoming. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend.

Ryan and his group were sensational guests. They clearly enjoyed being on the lake. They took wonderful care of the house and would be welcome back anytime.
We had the best time! The home was set up well for our group of three generations. The media room was a great space for entertaining, especially when it was raining. We did lose power several times, but the host was quick to share with us where the flashlights and such were. The wading pool area of the lake was perfect for my 5 year old and for the 60 and 70 year olds in our group to get in and out of the lake. We would absolutely stay here again!
We had a great vacation. The property was as advertised. The interior was perfect. Plenty of space. Open concept on first floor. We had 10 people on vacation with us. The porch was a bit bigger than I expected, which was nice. It was great having a dock, we rented a boat for a few days. The water in the cove is crystal clear. Richard and Betsy were great hosts. Very responsive to any and every question we had. Would definitely stay here again.
We had the most wonderful time of our lives at this little piece of Heaven nestled in the New Hampshire woods. Richard and Betsy were so very kind and we felt welcomed into their little part of their world. Their home was very comfortable and clean and well furnished. Right down to the toys for our grandsons! We loved the way their home was laid out. There was a play area for the boys, a comfortable living room for us all of us and a lovely dining room for family meals and games. We enjoyed the tv room and just the friendliness of the area. We also took advantage of the grill and had a cookout on the lovely deck.
We took advantage of the lake and the many sites within driving distance. We would most definitely come here again with our family. I know the grandkids are counting on it!
Great privacy, perfect cabin on the water. We used the boat dock two days, only issue was the ladder wasn't screwed to the dock. Seemed like a safety issue. It would have been nice to have blinds in the windows in the king bed room. We had an issue with black bugs crawling on king bed and crawling on us at night, we left a night earlier because of it. Would have loved if there was an ac unit in the kitchen/ living room area. With the cost I would have expected the beds to be made and above the shower in the upstairs bathroom was moldy.
We always enjoy our stay at Loonrise - great house, great location, great hosts! Everything is as advertised, the house is spacious, well stocked, clean, and comfortable even for large families or groups. The lake is gorgeous. Highly recommend sleeping in the cabin by the dock so you can hear the loons in the wee hours.
We chose Loonrise for our first family vacation for the location and cabin size. Everything was clean and spacious as advertised. The owners were kind and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay!
Outstanding experience. We had car trouble on the way there. Richard and his wife were wonderful. We ended up sending the kids up to the house while we dealt with finding a rental car to be able to continue the trip. Richard and his wife checked on the kids and made sure they were good before we were able to make it there on Sunday afternoon. The house and property were amazing and secluded, yet close to a beautiful town. Overall a great and relaxing vacation, even with the car troubles.
We had three generations staying at Loonrise for a week, 8 family members total. Richard was very timely with his response to any questions we had, and everything was exactly as advertised. We brought our 21’ boat with us, and made excellent use of the dock all week. The house is very spacious and comfortable! This was an excellent trip at a perfect getaway location with excellent hosts. We would definitely stay again!
Very spacious, clean property with plenty of parking. Loonrise was the perfect home for our family vacation. Location in a protected cove was ideal. The property is also convenient to many hikes with views of the lakes. We took advantage of the dock and rented a pontoon boat. Friendly hosts who provided us with everything that we needed for a relaxing stay.
