3 Bedrooms, 3.5 baths on Nolin Lake. 8 miles from main entrance to Mammoth Cave National Park.

Lakefront Luxury

Majestic, custom-built 3-bedroom, 3 ½-bath waterfront home with incredible lake views. Very secluded wooded setting with all the toys - 3 big-screen TVs, pool table, poker table, bar, two levels of decks and balconies, 800 square foot fire pit area, indoor and outdoor surround sound, and more. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen, outdoor grill and 3 eating areas - inside at 12-person table or outside on the deck or in the gazebo. 3 bedrooms, including master with fireplace, oversized soaker tub. Hardwood and slate floors, granite counters, soaring ceilings, custom furniture. Sleeps 11 comfortably. The basement has a bunk bed (twin over twin with twin trundle) and a pullout full sized sofa sleeper for additional sleeping. There is a large parking pad to accommodate multiple vehicles. A great place to recharge and have fun with family or friends.

Master suite with queen bed on main level. Lower level has twin over twin bunk with trundle bed plus sleeper sofa. Upper level has two bedrooms with full beds. Full baths on all three levels. Full-size washer and dryer. Breathtaking lake views from every room, with wraparound decks to fully enjoy the amazing natural beauty that surrounds this gorgeous home.

This property is on a bluff and does not have direct lake access.  There is a boat ramp about 1/2 mile down the road at the end of the street. There is a 12x45’ concrete pad for easy boat (or additional car) parking at the top of the driveway.

This was an amazing home away from home for our family. The host was always responsive, the house was beautiful, and the kids (one young and one teen) both had the best time in the game room. The fire pit was really fun and the location is nicely located near Mammoth Cave National Park and the National Corvette Museum. There's firewood 5 minutes down the road, a general store with essentials 10 minutes away, and the house was so fully stocked, we didn't want for anything during our stay. We highly recommend a stay here. Thank you!!

We stayed here while we were in the area touring mammoth caves. 9 adults were very comfortable in this home. Great sunset views and morning coffees on the porches were amazing. We asked for a later checkout and the host was quick to respond. We would stay here again.

Amazing home!

Love this house and the owners! Absolutely beautiful! Goals for my future to retire in a home with a view like this! Note - if you take a boat you have to put in and pull out every time. Currently there are no docks so makes very hard for loading and getting on board the boat.

Brandon played football at Western Kentucky University, and I played basketball at the University of Louisville. I am currently an elementary school librarian and Brandon is Vice President of McGriff Insurance Services.

Why they chose this property

I have always loved the lake and all the beauty that surrounds it. My husband isn't a fan of the water, but loves to explore the outdoors. This property is the perfect location that will allow me to enjoy lake life and my husband is just a short drive from Mammoth Cave where he can hike and explore to his heart's desire. He also can enjoy numerous outdoor activities such as fishing and biking at Nolin Lake State park, or take in a round of golf. Together, we can escape life's many stressors with the beauty of nature that surrounds us at 815 Wilderness Road. We are happy to open up our beautiful new lakehouse so you can too!

What makes this property unique

The dining room table that seats 12 is the perfect place to gather with friends or family and opens up the the spacious great room. There is lots of fun to be had in the basement, with board games, a big screen tv, poker table, pool table, and bar. You can't beat the views from the many different spots on the 2 decks and gazebo. The sunset view is incredible!!
