Bella Mare (''beautiful sea'' in Italian) - This stunning beach rental, 2 story townhouse, booking Summer of 2020. Visit beautiful Cape Cod enjoy any of the 16 area Barnstable beaches for free with your beach pass which is included. A beach for every taste or visit all of them. TONS TO DO!

About Bella Mare - Unparalleled location at this price point. Just 500 yards down our street is breathtaking, Keyes Memorial Beach (aka, Sea St. Beach). Look in the distance and you will see the Kennedy compound from the beach. It is gorgeous. In the opposite direction from Bella Mare just .5 mile, you have Main Street with a variety of eateries and restaurants of all types, beachy shops and artisan goodies, activities for all tastes and events throughout the Spring, Summer & Fall seasons. We are 1 mile from the Ferry if you are interested in a day trip to the Islands - bring or rent a bike and explore the numerous trails on the Islands. Rental comes with 2 deeded parking spots and a covered bike rack.

Stocked kitchen for meals in, and a quaint deck out back with a gas grill at your disposal. Ample shared green space outside in the front of the unit, to toss a ball or for the kids to play. The large, air conditioned, master bedroom has a queen bed as well as a twin with en suite. The second bedroom, also air conditioned, and located next to the second bath, has 3 twins. The fun loft lounge has a full size (adult) futon and ottoman bed (converts from ottoman to a bed- very cool!). Large capacity washer and dryer on hand so go home from your cape escape without loads of laundry to do! Living room is adorned with beach themed decor and comfortable furniture with a flat screen TV with wifi for streaming/devices. The loft is a great lounge space/second living area, also with flat screen smart TV, will be a favorite for teens. Good sized kitchen opens to the dining area with seating for 5, and just open the slider to the deck for an additional seats.

Our mission is to offer clean, comfortable accommodations in an amazing location. We are a family friendly rental, couples friendly, as well as group friendly for responsible and considerate adults ONLY. Family vacation, girls escape, guys golfing trip, etc. We absolutely do not allow parties or events. Loud guests who party into the night need not apply. Fun, yes! Noise complaints, no! :-)

Walking distance from anything you need!

The location is perfect, especially for kids. We walked to the beach and up to Main Street at night for dinner at some fabulous restaurants - so many choices and the food was excellent. Plus the market/store near the townhouse had all those last minute things you need and you could walk there too!

Lovely location and place to stay

This was a lovely location being close to the beach and the town. It was great to be able to walk places. The townhouse was beautiful and clean. Sadly the neighbors were doing construction all week which made it a noisy week. This can't be controlled or affect your decision to stay here in the future however!! It was lovely!!

Cute Property With Great Location

We rented for a week of vacation with our 4 kids (20,20,17,17). Our three daughters shared the downstairs bedroom, which had three twin beds. The upstairs bedroom was very large, as big as some standard hotel rooms, and had a queen and twin bed. My husband and I shared the room with our 17 year old son and did not feel like we were on top of each other. There are full bathrooms on the first and second floor, which was a necessity for us. The rental is a 5 minute walk, if that, to the beach and about a 10-15 minute walk to town. We were comfortable allowing our kids to venture out on their own to either. There are some houses that look very nice in the area and others that look a little dilapidated, but this isn’t a reflection of the neighborhood. People were friendly and would say hello as you walked past. We traveled to Chatham in about 35 minutes and Provincetown in an hour and 15 minutes. There is enough to do in Hyannis with the shops and restaurants and the beautiful relaxing beaches that you really do not need to leave Hyannis. Tina was great at keeping in touch with us and checked in after a tornado hit the Cape. Thankfully our area was spared and later in the day we had beautiful weather. If we return to Cape Cod I would definitely rent here again.

Pros: great location, within 2-3 miles of great beaches. Use of a beach pass helped a lot and it was much appreciated. Satisfactory use of space in the unit. Nice having: three televisions, washer/dryer, three AC units, linens including beach towels, full size refrigerator. Plenty of plates and dishware. Owner very nice and very responsive. Cons: True, this property can sleep 8 but I don't think it can accommodate 8. As advertised, there is seating for 5 at the tipsy dining table; but no other space provided for remaining guests., i.e. portable folding tables. There is a mish-mash of silverware, with plenty of steak knives but only a few forks and butter knives. Older cooking pans. Downstairs bathroom light fixture over the sink does not work; tried a new light bulb but it still did not work. It does have an overhead light/fan but if you want to keep the light on through the night, you will hear the fan. The stove needs updating; one burner was difficult to get working. The smoke alarm kept sounding while we cooked. Used the rusting grill once. Unsure if beach chairs were advertised; glad we brought our own - the chairs we found were rusty and broken. Summary: nice, older unit in a great location in need of some improvements. I see the owner had recently joined VRBO; maybe the unit was recently purchased and is gradually being updated.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are a 5 min walk to the closest beach and it is a mere 1/4 of a mile. Perhaps you preferred beaches that were a few miles away but it should be noted that we are extremely close to a nice public beach with lifeguards, picnic areas with multiple grills for use, restrooms, snack shack, etc. Since our location is key to our guests, this is very important to note here publicly. If you recall, when you requested to book 8 adults, I reached out to you and stated that it would be extremely tight with 8 adults and you opted to book anyways despite my warnings of the drawbacks. The association (and the City of Barnstable) sets the occupational limits. I gain nothing by advertising more people than it can accommodate. It is indeed tight like I told you upfront. We have never had anyone unhappy with the kitchen items provided but yes, things may not all match for sure. We are a family rental and are priced accordingly on the lower end of the scale. We are not a high-end luxury rental. I will check on the beach chairs for sure since broken is not acceptable. People sometimes visit, break things and do not always let us know so I appreciate you mentioning this to me so I can fix it. I would have preferred you allowed me the chance to remedy it during your stay, however. I certainly tried to be accommodating during your stay. For example, when you were having issues with operating the sliding door as that seemed unfamiliar to you. There is overhead light in the bathroom which I pointed out. I feel I was also especially accommodating when you arrived an hour early and let yourself in without our knowledge or permission. I did try and please you as best as I could but, I think your expectations for a beach rental in this price range is perhaps not on point with the market. We have been on VRBO for 3 years and have an abundance of happy guests. Best to you and your family in your travels. Thank you for staying.

Great access to beach and Hyannis main street

Our family of four stayed at this location for two weeks. The convenience to the beach and downtown Hyannis can't be beat. Also, so nice to have a beach tag and beach equipment included in the stay. Gina was very helpful and responded immediately regarding any questions or concerns we had about the property. Overall, the property is a little outdated but we had a comfortable stay.

A fantastic vacation !

My husband, three young boys and I had a great time in Hyannis. This property was perfect fit our needs. The location was great, allowing us to walk to the beach and into town each evening for dinner. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The boys enjoyed the loft area, and it allowed my husband and I to relax downstairs. We would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it!

Great Value and location!

First off, totally awesome host!Owner greatly communicated check in procedures, along with warm welcomes. Uniquely cute space, “kitty cornered” between two buildings. Spacious for our party of 7, 2 bathrooms really made the difference. Full kitchen, Keurig machine, handles all of our meals. Has good AC units, which in some more expensive rentals do not have. Parking adequate for even a Suburban😆 two spots for the unit. Looks like there’s two ‘guest’ parking if you have a friend coming for a day, but confirm with the owner. TV is setup for most streaming services (Disney+, Amazon prime, Hulu, Netflix) and has hdmi to connect your game consoles. Nice back deck with lights to make it festive. Sea Street has a nice wide side walk from Keyes Mem. Beach to Main st. Keyes Mem beach has great sand, perfect size to ‘social distance’, clean bathhouse nearby with changing stalls.

Great location to Hyannis Main St and beaches

We and a perfect week of weather so we were able to take full advantage of the beach parking pass included in our stay. That is a nice perk of this rental. Wonderful hosts answered any questions we had prior to and during our stay. Even a Facebook page to give you some ideas of things to do in the area during your vacation. We are a family of 4 and plenty of room for us for the week. The 2 bathrooms was a nice convenience as well.

Great little place to spend some time on the Cape

This was our first visit to Cape Cod. Fall is definitely a great time to go - we arrived on Labor Day and smiled as we saw the huge lines of cars leaving the Cape! Everything was uncrowded yet still busy, which was perfect. Condo is located within walking distance to a small beach, not far from the Kennedy compound (for what that's worth). You could probably walk into Hyannis downtown as well, but we never tried. Condo has everything you need for a stay, including fully stocked kitchen, laundry, a/c, and a nice gas grill.

My wife and I spent a week here and we loved it. A five minute walk to the left brings you to the beach that includes a beautiful view of the Kennedy Compound. A five minute walk to the right brings you to a mini mart, which is where I walked each morning to pick up a couple of newspapers. I would then use the Keurig that Bella Mare provides to enjoy the paper, and a coffee. There is also a Dunkin' Donuts available within a ten minute walk that is right next to downtown Hyannis. This townhouse is very comfortable with a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. It also has a great washer and dryer inside of the spacious master bedroom. Very close to Four Seas ice cream, Keyes Beach and Craigville Beach. Also close to Yarmouth, which has some nice restaurants. Highly Recommend.

Growing up along the ocean near Boston, I took the beauty a bit for granted back in those early days but those small details stuck with me - like the smell, wind blown hair, the rhythmic sounds of the waves, how beautiful the sun sets against the ocean, New England seafood, salty skin and cherished memories. Since moving out to the suburbs, I have longed dreamed of the day when I could go back and spend time - by the beautiful sea. Later in life, being so lucky to have spent some time along the Mediterranean, specifically in Cinque Terre in Italy, re-ignited my passion for the sea and all things in it. It was time, to own a little slice of heaven and that is how Bella Mare was born. Bella Mare is our baby, our dream, and the fruit of years of hard work and dedication and we are excited to share it all, and all the up coming memories she will bring, with you.
