Cozy country bungalow within the Amish Community

Cozy Bungalow, located in the heart of Amish country. Relax hearing the horse and buggies, going by the bungalow daily. 1 and 1/2 story bungalow with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, is located just minutes away from all Amish attractions. Main floor has kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, with queen size beds, and bathroom. Upstairs consists of 1 bedroom with full size bed. Linens and towels provided. Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, bakeware, spices, and (paper products)paper towels, toilet paper, and napkins. TV, Wifi, DVD player, some DVD's, books, and games. Pack-n-play, highchair, and booster seat is available.
Manh Amish homes and farms along the road, Stoltzfus produce stand and Hayloft ice cream with pond (can feed ducks) also has a play ground for small children, and within walking distance. Close to Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Sight n Sound in Strasburg, Shady Maple, Maple Grove Drag way, Green Dragon. Close to most Lancaster County attractions.

Such a cute 3 bedroom bungalow. It was well maintained and decorated beautifully with lots of special touches. The only drawback is that the bathroom is not handicap accessible (very low commode and hard to get out of tub). The owner did bring over a detachable bar to help with the tub. We loved staying here and meeting the owners. It was also a great location for visiting the Amish community and going to Sight and Sound.

Lancaster trip

The house was so neat and clean, laid out nicely for the four of us. Sharon and Ted were very welcoming and didn't mind our coming and going. We saw a show at Sight and Sound, spent a day at Gettysburg before moving on to Philadelphia. The property is ideally located for all of that. Great stay on a quiet road with great hosts.

We purchased this property when the original owner passed away. He built it in 1946 when he came home from WWII. Him and his wife raised 3 children in this home. Lots of farm land in the area and neighborhood is usually quiet.
