An amazing property with an amazing view of both the lake and the sunset! Communication with the host, Jason was easy and fast! My family had the best time and can’t wait to come back soon!!
Great Lake House. Perfect location on Douglas Lake…best sunset views ever…home is well named! It was great having the large screened in patio. Our dogs also loved it.
Everything needed for rest and relaxation. We had a great week at Fort Sunsets. Saw lots of wildlife near the property and took several day trips to national parks and forests in the area. The Wolf Paws Positive Awareness Sanctuary 10 minutes away was one of the highlights. We enjoyed the upper porch every day and the hot tub a couple times too. Would love to come back when the water level is at normal capacity. Thanks for a great stay.
This was one of the rentals where I was very pleased from the moment we pulled up. The house and view matched the pictures as expected. The view is spectacular, even with the lake down. I know it's called Fort Sunset, but I think I enjoyed the sunrises just as much! The hosts have really taken into consideration what makes a property dog friendly, and my dogs loved it. Also, the host was very communicative and helpful! We have family in the area, and this was the perfect place for us to stay and have the visit us. I would 100% recommend booking!
What a wonderful place! The owners have thought of everything. It is very well stocked. The view is amazing and peaceful. We would book this property again.
The house was beautiful, all the little things to make it enjoyable and homie were so appreciated. Our family had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone, there is something for everyone at this house !
Just beautiful! If you’re looking for rest & relaxation, this is your spot! The best part was picking up the pontoon around the lake! Fishing, mountains, hot tub and Dollywood 40 minutes away! We loved every minute of it! Tip; Bring Bottled water! It is mountain water.
Beautiful Lake view, kayaks were a lot of fun (we did manage to use them despite low spring water levels.) Deck being screened in was wonderful. Bathrooms were smaller and tubs could have been cleaner and would've benefitted from no-slip mats. Kitchen was functional, beds were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.
Second time staying here and loved it again. I keep saying I have to stay during the summer to enjoy the lake. As always, a great place to stay. Close enough to Pigeon Forge but far enough to be secluded.
Beautiful and well maintained property. There’s plenty of room for the nine of us. We loved the view of the lake and the sunsets. The kitchen was fully stocked full of all kinds of things to help us cook. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.
Excellent lake front property, beautiful views, and a the lake area is perfection, we loved the dock, shaded area, sun deck and fire pit and the hot tub is a nice addition!! Very responsive host, would gladly stay again
