Elegant Refurbished Apartment In Florence, Wifi, A/C, Elevator, balconies

Elegant and comfortable apartment close to the city centre just outside the ztl area, therefore, hassle free if you have a car. We are at a 15 minute walking distance from city centre and 25 minutes walking distance from Duomo, Uffizzi Gallery, Piazza Signoria, Statue of David, Ponte Vecchio and great shopping too. You can take the tram if you prefer which takes only 3 minutes! It is a pleasant walk with pastry shops and cafes along the way. The apartment is spacious, airy and bright. There is a baker, butcher, laundromat, wine-shop, grocery store close by. Very convenient and ideal location far from the noise but at walking distance from all attractions. The beautiful Villa Fabbricotti, Stibbert Park and Museum is right behind us and at walking distance to Giardino del'Orticoltura with its beautiful conservatory.
Our apartment has been newly refurbished. We used high quality fixtures through out. It is elegant and comfortable with up-to-date amenities. Brand new designer bathrooms with new fixtures. The spacious double living room has a large sofa bed and can be closed with sliding doors. This offers complete privacy and is used as the 3rd bedroom. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The other bathroom is in the hallway.
The apartment has 2 balconies and has a spacious feeling. Unlimited wifi access, air conditioning and linen are all included. There are NO hidden costs. It is on the second floor WITH elevator. The size is 115 square meters. PLEASE NOTE: THE SINGLE PULLOUT BED THAT GOES IN THE BEDROOM IS UPON REQUEST. PLEASE LETBUS KNOW IF YOU NEED IT.

Nice property outside of city center.

Very clean property spacious and comfortable perfect for our large group. Close by to a grocery store and corner market where you can get drinks, coffee, and snacks. Right up the street from a fresh produce stand and outdoor vendors market. Very near to a wonderful local restaurant Fratelli briganti.

Wonderful apartment minutes from Florence city-centre

Rita was a wonderful host so responsive & accomodating. The apartment was very clean and comfortable & just a 10 minute walk & 10 minute tram ride to the city centre of Florence. We loved that it was away from the hustle & bustle of downtown & felt very safe. A little fruit , veggie & clothing market is held daily nearby & grocery store around the corner. The beds are super comfortable. A fantastic choice if visiting Florence. My sister & I loved this place.

Beautiful, roomy apartment with large beds!

Our adult family of 5 had a comfortable stay here. Good location if you like a light walk with the Duomo and museums about a mile away. Apartment was VERY clean, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen with all we needed to cook an authentic Italian meal. Rita answered all questions quickly so no complaints about anything. Would stay here again!!

The apartment is a nice 20 minute walk to center of town. Everything in the apartment is well cared for and very clean. Richard, the local contact, is most helpful for pointing out places and taking care of needs. Thank you Richard and Rita we had a very pleasant stay.

Perfecto! Perfecto! Perfecto!

Rita's place was perfect for my family of 6. We received such a warm welcome and the perfect amount of communication throughout our stay. The host was very responsive to all of our needs and we found the place to be ideally located...just on the outskirts. We walked everywhere with no problems. Our group consists of 3 college students, 1 middle schooler, and my wife and I. The grocery store is right around the corner which served us well. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Florence.

Definite Italian Living

Our host, Rita, was exceptional. From the time our reservation was made until our stay was over, Rita was invaluable in making sure our stay an immersion into Italian life. She not only recommended local restaurants but went further to make reservations. SheRita was always available by phone when we had questions. The tram into central Florence is a comfortable 4-5 block walk and takes 10 minutes to get into the city. We plan to return to her.

Great accommodation

This is a lovely and roomy apartment in a quiet neighborhood about a mile from centrale. I didn't use it but there is a bus nearby to San Marco. There is a supermercato around the corner, a pan dolce across the street and coffee next door. There is also an open air market with fresh vegetables, cheese and meat around the rotary. Buy your vegetables from the first stall furthest from the apartment. Great ladies who will entertain as well give you great service! Highly recommend this apartment if you don't want to be in town.

Live like an Italian

Our objective on this vacation was to stay 2 1/2 weeks and live like the Italians and we certainly achieved that in this apartment. The apartment was very large and comfortable and roomy. The hostess was super great at communications and meeting all our needs. Her apartment manager Richard was also very attentive to our needs and answered any questions we had. The kitchen has a good set up with everything needed and the washer came in handy. There is a nice market near the apartment and a bakery, takeout deli, coffee shop, gelato shop, and it is located near the tram stop. There is also a little farmers market Monday through Saturday downstairs. You can easily walk to the historic area in 25 minutes or so. This is an older apartment and the appliances require the instructions which are in the apartment. When we arrived, we were outside the building and couldn’t figure out how to communicate with the manager inside the apartment because we got the email late, so it would be helpful to know what doorbell to ring outside the building and get the check-in email sooner. There are two good parks nearby but not many restaurants in the area. The apartment has great Wi-Fi and we enjoyed the balconies. The apartment can probably sleep seven people with a pullout sofa. The hostess was so great to us that we would consider staying here again. We had a great time in the apartment and all our needs were met and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Rita and Richard for a wonderful stay!

Nice apartment

A nice apartment. A moderate/long walk to attractions but nice to be outside enjoying a different culture. Owner and host were great - answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations for food/gelato, bank and trams. Were met at the tram and walked to the apartment - this was great after a day of travel. Worked with our schedule for a late check in and what time we could get to Firenze based on a class schedule. Had a small issue with the breaker being off for the electric lighting of the stove and microwave was in the process of being replaced. Grocery store and restaurants were close by. Enjoyed walking in the rain with the umbrellas provided. Appreciated having a washer/dryer combo unit to do a small load of laundry and dry our clothes! Would want to stay closer to the sites next time but would not rule this apartment out.

Roomy & Comfortable Apartment in Florence

We are a family of 4, and wanted accommodations for our last 4 days to be comfortable & to give us separate bedrooms. It was very spacious & nicely decorated. The 2 bathrooms & kitchen were newly remodeled & that made it more pleasing. The kitchen was very well stocked & we cooked 2 dinners in it. Rita was very helpful with info prior to our stay & Prop. Mgr, Evelyn met us on arrival & answered questions by phone. We were about 20 mins walking from the center of town, & about 8 mins by taxi. I suggest you learn how to recite the address properly to get the taxi service to respond. There was a small deli on the street next to the apartment for snacks & coffee. We used the laundromat around the corner to dry clothes, used washer on the property to wash. We would recommend this property to all!

Best Place to stay in Florence

What an amazing place to stay. We most definitely would stay at this property again. The property was located close to the tram for easy trips to the center of Florence, wonderful restaurants close by and a grocery store right around the corner. This property had all the amenities that make your stay extremely comfortable. Rita, Property Owner, is amazing. She responded quickly to all e-mails, questions and concerns. Richard, Property Manager (?), was a huge help to us. He met us at the property when we arrived; gave us the low down on the apartment and walked us to the local cafe to show us how to get our tram tickets and then walked us to the Tram Station, along with providing other valuable information for our stay in Florence. Marilena, the Tour Guide we hired, was also amazing. We highly recommend Marilena for any tour you would like in Florence. If we are ever lucky enough to visit Florence again, this property will be our #1 choice for our stay. Really cannot say enough about how wonderful this property is for any short term or long term stay.

Fabulous family time in Florence*****

Our time spent in Florence was truly amazing. Rita greeted us upon arrival offering helpful suggestions which we listened to and enjoyed tremendously. We were there celebrating a sweet sixteen for one of our two daughters and Rita was kind enough to order and have delivered a delicious bday cake. We all also enjoyed a bottle of Champagne compliments of Rita & Giuseppe=) The home is perfectly open and airy with comfortable furnishings and well stocked for any and all your needs. We enjoyed the bakery and wine sprits shops right across the street, and supermarket around the corner. It is conveniently located and accessible to most everything. We had our daily walk to Celana for gelato each evening too. Each morning started with a delicious coffee( thanks to Rita) add a baked item from across the street and we then we were good to go. Easy walk to Duomo, & Mercato Centrale where delicious food awaits you, and shopping galore.in the other direction we also enjoyed dinner at Perseus and highly recommend it. With all if the walking it was always enjoyable to come home and relax in comfort. There was always enough hot water for showers, plenty of room for relaxing and watching US television, and unwinding before retiring to the comfy beds. Our girls had their own privacy in their room (to be teenage girls & have wifi access was big) to catch up back home. Each morning to open the kitchen balcony door and take in the sunshine and scenery was a blessing. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Rita and Giuseppe are wonderful hosts and we really appreciate them sharing their home with our family. We all agree it was a Fabulous Florence holiday!! This home was everything that we needed for Florence! Charming, updated, and clean. The neighborhood felt safe and was walkable. It is not in the city center, which we liked. Tram, grocery, restaurants were nearby. We used the tram or we walked to the areas we wanted to see.

This was an AWESOME property. We were there for 10 days celebrating our 31 year anniversary with our best friends. It was just as listed. It was beautiful, comfortable, homey and a great size for 2 couples. I love that it had a king size bed in both bedrooms. The 2nd living space that could be closed off made the perfect place to do my yoga early in the morning without disturbing everyone else. The neighborhood was safe and close to everything we needed like the tram, grocery store. There was a bakery right across the street. Richard was there to greet us and make sure we knew everything we needed to know. And Rita was very accessible if we had any questions while we were there. And we took advantage of the chef services and Marina cooked us a delicious 4 course meal and even taught us how to make homemade pasta, so I highly recommend taking of this service. She was so plesant and knowledgeable too. If you decide to rent this place you will not be disappointed.

Nice Apartment

This was a nice apartment for our stay in Florence. Rita and Richard were both excellent at staying in touch and ensuring we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious although the bathrooms were quite small, especially the master bath. The neighborhood was quiet with a few essentials close by including a grocery, bar, pastries, etc. There were not many other restaurants without walking 10 minutes or so. Richard was exceptionally helpful with arranging for taxis each day. He also had a couple of excellent restaurant suggestions which we used and greatly enjoyed. Although the neighborhood seemed quiet and safe, my husband especially appreciated the robust locks on the apartment door.

Location was perfect. Place was well decorated. Tram station was just a short walk away. Bar/coffee and Pastries was a 10 yard walk from the front door. Grocery store was 100 yards around the corner fro the place. Easy 20 minute walk to downtown if you don't want to take the tram.

Ein großartiger Workation-Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren vierwöchigen Workation-Aufenthalt in Ritas Wohnung: Sie ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, die immer für uns erreichbar war. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und die Lage sehr zentral (gute Trambahn-Anbindung und auch zu Fuß ist man schnell im Zentrum). Der Supermarkt um die Ecke ist sehr praktisch und es gibt einige gute Lokale (Pantarei ist sehr empfehlenswert) in der Nachbarschaft. Schön sind natürlich die beiden Balkone in der Wohnung, die gemütlichen Wohnzimmer und zwei neu ausgestattete Bäder. Alles ist stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet (inklusive Klimananlage und Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern) und sehr sauber. Das WLAN ist perfekt zum Arbeiten und es sind zwei Schreibtische vorhanden. Kurz: Wer Florenz unbeschwert in den „eigenen vier Wänden“ genießen möchte, ist bei Rita goldrichtig! Danke für die schöne Zeit!
