The whole process went smoothly, from booking through the stay. Property was as-advertised. Host was very communicative. Will definitely re-book.

Thank you so much for the kind words! It was a pleasure hosting you, and I'm glad everything went smoothly from start to finish. You're welcome back anytime, looking forward to your next stay in Sedona.
This sweet little house is clean, comfortable and has everything needed for a great short term stay. Location is prime, with just a 5 minute walk to the main street in Uptown Sedona. Responsive owner and manager. We highly recommend.
Greg and Tess had a perfect place for us to anchor our 3-day stay in Sedona. (September 14, 15, and 16, 2025) We could relax and be very comfortable. This property is beautiful, very convenient, and prepped with amenities that give a home-away-from-home atmosphere. Greg was always communicative, helpful, and patient (as needed!). We appreciate the extra effort put into this property that made our stay in Sedona a very special memory.
This is a nicely updated unit for a small family or group that can accommodate a dog as well. The fenced courtyard was a big plus for us as we traveled with our dog. This Uptown unit has everything you’d get at a hotel or timeshare condo and more. Fresh flowers, water, snacks, coffee and tea, some basic spices, bottled water and other beverages, toiletries, robes, laundry and a personalized greeting on the cute chalkboard in the entry. Comfortable furniture, beds and quality linens just added to our stay. The only downside was you can hear voices, footsteps and other noise from the upstairs unit. During our 6 night stay, 2 different groups were upstairs - one we hardly knew were there, but the other group was much noisier. It wasn’t enough to call and complain about, but something to consider if noise is bothersome to you. Overall, Greg and his team are great hosts and owners! We would return if the opportunity presents itself!
We enjoyed staying at this spacious, comfortable, and clean flat, with a private, enclosed patio. It's a few minutes walk to the Arts Center, and restaurants and shops. The owner is very responsive to queries and has provided many thoughtful touches to these quarters. Highly recommended.
There was a problem with the code to enter the property. But it was resolved adequately.

We loved staying at Greg's home. He thought of everything and was immediately accessible by phone to answer a couple of questions. The house was clean, well furnished and the bed was comfortable, which is important when traveling. Great location. Loved the fresh flowers in every room!

Great Location to Stay in Sedona, AZ
This first floor apartment on a hill is perfectly located for visiting the shops in Uptown Sedona, the older, charming part of the city. The location is also great for bypassing uptown traffic jams and quickly getting to Oak Creek Canyon, Slide Rock State Park and beyond to Flagstaff. There is also a great view of the red rock mountains from the front patio chairs and an even better view looking around the corner toward the rear of the building. The open front garage just steps from the front door is also very convenient, especially in an infrequent mountain rain storm, as is the very well-equipped laundry room just steps under cover from the front door. There is plenty of room in this apartment to prepare and enjoy meals or to watch TV. The very private back patio is also plenty big enough for outdoor cooking on the gas grill and for dining or relaxing. The only real downside to this unit is the possibility of TV or foot-step noise at night from the upstairs unit when it is occupied. That wasn't a serious problem for us but the potential is there, although the owner is very accommodating and would solve any serious noise problem quickly.

About the host
Hosted by Greg Getner
I live here in Sedona and genuinely love sharing it with others.
I first discovered Sedona in college and kept coming back—it always had a way of slowing things down and helping me reset. After years working at advertising agencies in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, I decided to make that feeling a permanent part of my life and moved here.
Today, I host a small collection of thoughtfully designed homes in Sedona. Two are located in Uptown for guests who want to be able to walk everywhere, and one is in Chapel for a quieter, more tucked-away experience near some of the best hiking trails.
What I enjoy most about hosting is creating a stay that feels easy and intentional—from a smooth arrival to the small details that make the space comfortable after a day out exploring.
Outside of hosting, I enjoy hiking, playing chess, and dancing tango—Sedona has a great balance of nature and community that makes it a special place to live.
If you have any questions before or during your stay, I’m always happy to help.
Why they chose this property
This is one of the most unique locations in Sedona because you get the best of both worlds.
You’re just a short walk from Uptown’s shops, restaurants, and galleries, but the home itself is tucked into a quieter residential area—so it still feels calm and relaxed.
Many guests love being able to park once, walk into town for dinner or coffee, and come back to a peaceful space at the end of the day.
What makes this property unique
What makes this home stand out is the combination of walkability, privacy, and comfort, which is surprisingly hard to find in Sedona.
You’re a 5-minute walk to Uptown, yet still have a private, fenced outdoor space to relax—something many homes in the area don’t offer.
Guests also appreciate:
Red Rock views from the property A clean, well-maintained space that feels cared for A fully equipped kitchen and comfortable sleeping setup Easy access to hiking and outdoor activities
It’s designed to be a place where you can explore during the day and come back to relax, recharge, and enjoy Sedona at your own pace.
