Perfect for our multi-generational family visit for family week. Clean, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, nice to have various gathering spaces inside and outside and the best most central location just off of Commercial Street near the pier. And surprisingly quiet for being on the same block as A-House. Highly recommend!

Thank you for that great review. So glad you had a wonderful time at The Adam Macool House. Please come back and visit again. You are all most welcome!!
To say that we enjoyed our stay would be an understatement. It was truly located wonderfully in the middle of town, access to everything, but tucked on a side street. The house is historic in nature, but with all the modern amenities one needs. We just loved the decor and the layout was ideal for a large group (we rented out the whole house). Bernard was extremely friendly and so helpful! House was clean and even ready early. 5 stars across the board and hoping to return again!

Thank you for that great review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure to have you as guests. Please come visit again!!
Our group had another great trip to Provincetown and the Adam Macool House is now our favorite place to stay. It’s central location right off Commercial would be enough, but the house itself is beautiful, incredibly well-maintained, and has charm. Bernard, our host, has clearly invested in making the place welcoming and special. He was attentive and seemed to genuinely care about our stay and wanted us to enjoy ourselves and the home. It was more than worth every single penny.

It was truly a pleasure having you here at The Adam Macool House. I'm glad you enjoyed the town, the location, the house, and each other!
Please come back to visit again soon.
This is our second year in this house so now we can really call it “ours.” We feel so lucky to have found a place that has enough space for us and is also in the perfect location off of Commercial. The host is responsive and the home is efficiently organized. Couldn’t ask for a better place!

Thank you for that great review. I am so glad I could share my house again with such a friendly group. Please come again to enjoy the great location, the comfy house and this entertaining town!
The house is beautiful and very charming. It’s very well kept and a lot of historical pieces are within the decor. The lighting is a bit lacking on the 3rd floor and in the kitchen but nothing you can’t work with. Bring an iron - one is not provided.
I will definitely stay there again.

Thank you for the review! You are certainly welcome to come back and visit anytime. Apart from the kitchen ceiling light, not everyone finds the switch for the under-cabinet lights, which have two different intensities. Thank you for the helpful feedback. And please come back again!

Absolutely Beautiful House!
Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We had such a great time in Provincetown that my teen daughters didn't even complain about having to be on vacation with their parents! Your house is in a perfect location and is so charming. Sitting on the lovely front porch, watching the world go by was such a nice way to end an evening. The house is seriously immaculate, and we found everything we could have needed. Thanks again and we hope to return next summer!

Thank you for the glowing review. I am lucky to have a great house in the heart of such a fun, historic, and colorful town! It is a pleasure to share my home with great guests who appreciate all that the house and town have to offer. I look forward to your return visit next summer!
The McCool house was the perfect place for 9 friends to spend a week in P Town. The house has so many highlights including being right in the center of town. Just a short walk in any direction for food, drinks or shopping. The outdoor dining allowed us to congregate in the mornings for coffee and for meals when we didn’t eat out. We even had room to store all our bikes in the yard which we used regularly. We had an excellent week!

The Adam Macool house exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this home was something special. Every amenity you could possibly want was thoughtfully provided — and then some. The space is extremely tastefully decorated, striking the perfect balance between style and comfort.Bernard was an absolute pleasure to work with — responsive, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The location couldn't be more ideal — truly central to everything Provincetown has to offer. Whether it was restaurants, bars, shopping, or beach walks, everything was just steps away. And the view of the monument from the house? Stunning! This home made our trip unforgettable, and we’re already planning our next stay. Highly recommend!

Location, Location, Location! Bernard's home in the heart of Ptown was superb. It made our stay so easy. We were a group of 6 and it was perfect. Even if we'd had a few more, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy each other's company but not be on top of each other. The house is charming with 5 comfy beds and so quiet despite the central location. Bernard was a great host. He was immediately responsive to any question we had. We'd highly recommend staying here.

Thank you for that great review. And thank you for being great guests. You are totally welcome to come back and visit again!!
I went to Ptown for the July 4th week celebrations with my friends (there was 10 of us in total, all young professionals). We had an amazing time and couldn't have asked for a better location and house. It was very central to everything (we didn't really even need our bikes). Despite our big group, each of us was able to have our own space for some downtime. Bernard is a thoughtful host who was very helpful from checkin to checkout. Highly recommended!

Thanks for that great review. It was a pleasure to have you and all your friends as guests at The Adam Macool House. I enjoy sharing this great house, the thriving garden, and the perfect location with great guests. Please come and visit again. You are welcome anytime!
This property is so much nicer than a rental needs to be. A wonderful old home, full of charm, but all the modern amenities have been provided.
The way a bathroom with shower and separate tub were fitted under the roof of the third story bedroom is clever, and I loved it, but a taller person (6 ft +) might be a little uncomfortable and the stairs are not for anyone with physical limitations. All the other areas had no issues.
Two living areas, a covered porch with a large deck on top with ample furniture for seating were enjoyed.
The location could hardly be closer to the bustle of Commercial Street, perfect for us, but at times, some noise. So if you are going to let that bother you, it should be considered.
And the host, Bernard, couldn’t be nicer. If he’s in town, he’s probably staying in a separate property on site so he’s there for any issues if needed. But he’s not intrusive at all, really a plus to chat with him about the property and the town. He’s also very responsive via text or messaging thru the app.

The host, Bernard was helpful from months before our visit, with assistance dodging the hurricane and arrival all the way up to our departure.
The house is perfect! You can tell Bernard takes great pride in the property and is continually working to make it an even better experience.
Location, location, location! Everything from the pier, tours, shops, great dining, entertainment and even nightlife is practically at your doorstep. Yet, the house is tucked away enough to be enjoyable away from it all.
I for one can't wait to be able to reserve the property again.

Historic house - restored expertly and passionately by the owner Bernard - who has an eye for detail. Historic feel with modern amenities (kitchen, bathrooms, beds, etc.). It has everything you need. Just bring your luggage. Very well done! We really enjoyed the historic house with so many indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The location is perfect - we did not need our car at all - except for a day trip to Nantucket via the FreedomFerry. We hiked every day to the various beaches and light houses on the numerous nearby trails. 100 yards to the center of town with all the action. Walked everywhere, including the grocery store and restaurants. Such a relaxing place to stay on beautiful Cape Cod. We highly recommend it. Guests: Tom and Barbara

Thank you for that beautiful review. I'm so glad you were able to take advantage of all that the house and the town have to offer. It was a pleasure having you as guests. Please come visit again!
It’s true what they say, location is everything and his house sits squarely in the middle of what Ptown has to offer. That aside, Bernard has done a wonderful job of renovating this historic home, paying homage to its Cape history and style, while never stinting on the modern touches we all need and love. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to families and groups of friends.
The Adam Macool house is in about as good a location as you can find in P-Town, within a two minute walk to Commercial, but set far enough back to be quiet. The meticulously restored historic home is both charming and really functional
