This was a perfect property for the grandparents, adult kids and grandkids to vacation. We loved that it was quiet, no traffic, great fishing, lots to do indoors and outdoors too. Plenty of room to spread out.

This is a great rental. It has plenty of room for everyone. Very nice and very clean. We enjoyed swimming, paddle boating and kayaking at Lake Lorraine. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard. Had a question during our stay and Vanessa quietly responded. We definitely recommend this rental.

We found this an amazing property to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday with the family. The house is very spacious and well equipped. The area provided many opportunities for outdoor fun even in Texas heat. My only recommendation is that a note be placed near the TVs with instructions for turning on. Fortunately, we were able to watch the World Cup final.

A perfect place for a family getaway. We brought 10 adults and two children, and we had plenty of places to sleep. The game room with ping-pong table/pool table was a huge hit as well as the dartboard. I really appreciate the host, providing kayak, paddleboard, and pedal boat for us to play around on the lake. The house is situated on Lake Lorraine, which is adjacent to Lake Conroe. Honestly, I really loved being on Lake Lorraine because it’s a private, quiet lake and we weren’t subjected to the heavy boat traffic that can be on Lake Conroe. While we were there, we also enjoyed fishing and catching and releasing back into the lake.This was a huge hit with our whole family and we will definitely come back to this place!

Stayed here with my bridesmaids for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Very quiet and serene which is exactly what I was looking for. Host was very quick to respond as well as very friendly. Would be an excellent stay for any family or friend gathering!

House is very large. Plenty of space. Nice, secure back yard for pets. Thermostats were set to 80F when we got there. AC cooled house down quickly. Programmable thermostat was set in main portion of house to go back to 80F at midnight. Have it programmed to where cannot lower it for more than a few minutes in the schedule. So after midnight you could go set it to 72 and 5 minutes later would go back to 80F. Bedroom side of the house was set to go back to 78 at 6AM. I understand the expense of utilities but at the same time this is a house people are renting for weekends, vacations, etc. If you choose (which we did) to sleep in until 8-9AM you wake up sweltering. Master bathroom had almost no hot water. Other bathroom had plenty. Lots of lightbulbs in the house burned out (like 7 of the 10ish in the master bathroom were out). Besides that it was an enjoyable stay. Would give it 4 out of 5 stars. Fix a few things and it's an easy 5/5.

My entire family of 18 converted on Lake Conroe for a family wedding. These accommodations were superb! The house was spacious and the game room, kept the children occupied while we prepared for the wedding! The kitchen had room for all of us without feeling cramped! The whole house was well appointed! We didn’t need for anything!

Great game room! Kitchen had everything needed for cooking and snacking. Beds were very comfortable. Back porch and front porch were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Fenced yard perfect for my dog and she loved it!The propane grill probably needs to be retired.

Why they chose this property

Other homes don't give you privacy. This property sits on a full Acre and is in the heart of where all the restaurants, marina, boat rentals etc. are located. No driving an hour just to get to fun side of the lake! Home sits directly infront of the calm private lake (part of lake Conroe) & provides a calmer place for younger children to enjoy while parents supervise. You can launch your boat directly into Lake Conroe also from just steps away from the property driveway.

What makes this property unique

The 1acre lot will give all members of your party the relaxing feel you want from a vacation rental. Each bedroom is large enough to be considered a 'Master'. The calm waters of the small lake allow for amazing all day bird watching, truly a delight that everyone will enjoy
