Our School House is located just 6 miles from the square in Gettysburg, and even less to Devils Den, Big Round top, the Visitors Center and the Outlet Shoppes of Gettysburg. Just 3 miles from Rt. 15 makes getting here very simple. The school house was once an Amish school house but has been renovated to include all the comforts of home. Completely surrounded by farm land, you can be sure to enjoy peaceful and quiet evenings.

Amazing Place!

The schoolhouse was such a great location to stay on our trip. It was located on such a beautiful property right near town and all the historic sights. The house itself was exactly how pictured. It was spacious, clean, so cozy, and perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed it so much and would love to stay again in the future!

Country Schoolhouse

We enjoyed the original charm of this country schoolhouse. Very spacious, a close getaway from historic Gettysburg.

Quiet Weekend getaway

Gettysburg is one of our favorite getaways. We have been visiting the area at least once a year since 2005 and have stayed at many of the different hotels/B&Bs, etc. We are so happy we found this cute little house. Very clean and quiet. Thank you for the great restaurant and shop recommendations. We will definitely consider staying again.

Another great stay at the schoolhouse. This is our go to place when we’re in the area. Great location, clean, and comfortable.

Quiet Getaway

Wonderful weekend location while visiting Gettysburg. Host set up extra twin cot to accommodate our 3rd person. We enjoyed morning coffee on the private back deck overlooking the farm field and yard. Wifi speed enabled us to access streaming channel for favorite movies. We ate out but kitchen was well equipped. No dishwasher yet but looks like it may be coming. Minor/insignificant details not quite finished yet but Amish Schoolhouse was quaint, well furnished and suited us just fine!
