About this property
Creekside Cabin at Gettysburg
Welcome to Creekside Cabin: The cabin is approximately 100 years old, nestled on the “Manor of the Masque”. This land was deeded to William Penn in 1735, the cabin sits along Marsh Creek. The creek's origin is about 5 miles away and courses through Adams County and Frederick County, before eventually emptying into the Chesapeake Bay. The surrounding farmland/woodland was occupied during the Civil War and the farm at the end of the lane served as an active Civil War hospital. Soldiers are buried near the farm.
Now that we’ve presented you with a brief history, we would like to describe the benefits of staying with us. The picturesque view of Marsh Creek comes with an abundance of wildlife; turkey, deer, hawks, and owls.
We offer 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a kitchen, a large dining area attached to an open family room. You will fall in love with the old stone fireplace and the scenic view from the sunroom. Amenities included are fire pit, horseshoes and gas grill.
Along with your comfortable/scenic stay the cabin is situated within close proximity to center square Gettysburg. All notable Gettysburg attractions are within 10 minutes of the Creekside Cabin.

This is a great get-away cabin. Lots of wildlife. The turkeys were gobbling, there were ducks and geese on the river just below the cabin. You're just a short drive into all the historic places to visit in Gettysburg and to tour the many battlefields. You will never find more accommodating and friendly owners.
A perfect getaway for our anniversary! Greg and Tami are wonderful hosts but even better people! Everything in the cabin was just as promised ..peaceful, well stocked, warm and inviting. The gas fireplace was a favorite even with the warm weather. If only we could have stayed longer! We will be back for sure!!!
We enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin! We came here for our cousin’s weekend, and could not have been more impressed with the property. It was so cute and cozy, had great amenities, and was in a peaceful, quiet area (while still being close to all the great Gettysburg spots). Tami and Greg are wonderful hosts! The only downside is that we didn’t book a longer stay, but we will definitely be back!
The hosts were great and the cabin is so cute. Plenty of space to sit outside and some cute seating areas inside. Short drive to all the attractions and restaurants.
We loved our stay at Creekside Cabin. The hosts, Tami and Greg, are very welcoming and worked hard to ensure we could pass the driveway after a snowy few weeks. The cabin itself is comfortable, warm, clean and cozy - and so very evocative of the local area!
This is truly a log cabin with an old time rustic feel. Despite the traditional look, it had all the modern amenities we needed. It was cozy with a lot of personal touches. Everything was clean and convenient. The property was very private with a view of the creek at the bottom of the hillside. The gas fireplace added great ambiance and the back porch was nice for bird watching. It's just a short drive from downtown Gettysburg and many historic sites. We would love to come back in warmer weather.

Thanks for the great review. You are welcome to return at any time.
This cabin was a little piece of heaven in the PA countryside. Neighborhood very quiet and rustic. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the creek and exploring the property. Also was nice to bird watch from the front porch while drinking our coffee and we even saw a family of deer pass through one morning. Cabin was close to sites in Gettysburg, grocery stores and restaurants. Owners were quick to respond to any questions and live next door to the property. We got the opportunity to meet them and there were most hospitable even giving us some history on the property and the area. Highly recommend staying here and very family friendly accomodations. We will definitely be back one day.
Everything we needed and our hosts were just the nicest people you’ll ever meet! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We had a great visit and really enjoyed exploring the Gettysburg Battlefield National Park. Highly recommend!
It was a wonderful, historic property, close to everything but far enough away to be restful and private. The hosts were welcoming and had information and suggestions that added to our experience. We will definitely stay again.
Had a great time at the property! The hosts were so sweet and helpful. We loved the log home and all the amenities. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
My family and I were in town to attend a sports event right down the road, and this place was perfect! Beautiful, quiet/private location, plenty of space for the kids (and parents) to relax, and the cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly want. If you're in the area, I would absolutely recommend staying here!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy, rustic cabin! They had everything that we needed, and it's very close to the National Military Park and shopping. Quiet and comfortable! Great hosts!
Our stay was a getaway to relax and explore the historical setting of Gettysburg. The VRBO is clean and has a warm ambience about it. The owners checked in with us to ensure everything met our expectations, and even requested input on anything that was lacking or may be needed. As in our previous visits to this VRBO, all our needs and expectations were met!
There are not enough positive words to describe our stay! Amazing, beautiful and the hosts! Wonderful people!! Went above and beyond! This is our new spot to stay at! 100% FANTASTIC!!
This was a cozy cabin with everything we needed to enjoy our 3 night stay. We enjoyed the solitude and knowledge that we were staying in a piece of history. Location was close to everything we wanted to see and do.
