Indian Valley Rustic Cabin

Cute studio cabin situated just off Highway 101, at the base of Mt. Baldy, one mile east of Lake Sutherland and 600 feet west of Granny’s Cafe and Indian/Emerald Valley Motel. The Spruce Railroad Trail is within walking distance (approximately two miles), and Joyce Access Road is just the other side of Indian Creek. Easy access to Marymere Falls, Lake Crescent Lodge, Sol Duc Falls, Hurricane Ridge, the Coho ferry to Victoria, B.C., and many more within a 45 minute drive radius. With two queen beds the cabin sleeps 4 adults very comfortably. It has a full kitchen, including dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washer and dryer set contained in the bathroom. It is the perfect spot for anyone who loves the outdoors.

My husband and I love this place. It was our second time. It is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Linda is amazing too. It is private and wooded, yet just a short drive to Port Angeles and hiking trails. Highly recommend! We will definitely be staying again someday!

Stayed here for a couple of nights for our 44th wedding anniversary. Couldn't have been happier - what a cute little cottage, with everything we needed, including a recent A/C system which is great for the hot summer months! Great host, clean space and tucked away from the bustle.

This property is very well situated for those who want to explore Lake Sutherland and Lake Crescent along the northern rim of Olympic National Park. We brought out bikes and rode the 4.5 miles up to Lake Crescent's East Beach Road that turns into one of the best bike paths in the USA as it winds its way along the lake's north shore. This bike path is one that is not to be missed. The rustic cabin lived up to its billing but was quite comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was functional and included a washer/dryer setup. The owners had thought through every little thing that is needed for a stay of multiple days. There is a market about half way between the cabin and the eastern end of Lake Crescent in case one needs additional supplies. We heartily recommend this setting.

Everything here was as promised. It was clean and well-kept. Something neither good nor bad but perhaps helpful to others: there are several large windows facing out the back of the property as well as a skylight. If you're there in the summer time, this means that considerable light enters the interior very early in the morning. I enjoyed this (I was still functioning effectively on Eastern time), but others may not. Certainly, it's worth it to have such large windows.

An absolutely lovely little cabin, tucked away right near Lake Crescent. Has all the essentials and creature comforts you’re likely to need (except maybe WiFi) and has a decent restaurant a quick walk away. The cabin was very clean and tidy, and we really loved the architecture and aesthetic, including the sky light, open beams, and huge windows. The kitchen is also spacious and well-supplied, and though we didn’t use them, it’s great to have a washer/dryer available. Our pups also loved having some large open spaces to run around in, though we didn’t trust them off-leash due to proximity to main roads. Though the highway is quite close by and there is some traffic noise, we didn’t find it too bothersome as the forest dampened it. Overall it was a very enjoyable and affordable stay. We really enjoyed it, and recommend!
