About this property

DOOR 42! Minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Sister Bay!

Welcome to DOOR 42! Our home is located on the north side of Sister Bay right on the main drag. You and your group are just a short 1.5 mile drive down the hill and into town. Seconds away awaits a trip to the beach, park or a meal at any of Sister Bay's fine restaurants as well as coffee and ice cream shops! Our cottage is perfect for couples and families.
The house is full of Door County character and offers plenty of space for your retreat. Feel free to message me if you are interested in finding out more!

We have provided some literature for the surrounding areas including restaurants, maps, breweries etc. Hopefully they can be of some help! One of our favorite restaurants for scenery is the Boat House, Chop, and The Wickman House. Great breakfast is served at Viking Grill, Ellison Bay or Caroll’s Restaurant here in Sister Bay.

Only good things to say. The house was very clean, a ton of extra bedding & blankets, great location just outside of sister bay (not walkable, which was fine for us! Maybe could bike though). Loved the bonfire pit and the yard games, some games & toys for the kids wasa nice addition too. Would totally come back.

Super nice place in Sister Bay. Easy to get to town and all the surrounding activities. Place was clean, big TV, A/C, washer / dryer. Great communication with the owner. Any feedback is minor- would have been nice to have nightstands next to the bed. Like I said, minor compared to an easy peasy experience. Thanks Kimberly.

The property was very well kept and maintained. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and hang out spaces. No central air but they provided fans to keep the air circulating. It’s an ideal location with just minutes from Sister Bay. Overall a strong positive for this place to stay!

Great Bachelorette Weekend

This house was great for the bachelorette party I planned with 5 other people. The place was clean, had plenty of extra towels, blankets, and pillows, and was so close to downtown Sister Bay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location and beautiful setting

This was the second year we stayed in Door 42 for our vacation. We really enjoy the large house and beautiful setting. It's close to the beach and lots of great restaurants too. We hope to come back again.

Fantastic location just minutes from downtown Sister Bay! There were plenty of towels and warm water for showers for our group of 8. The kitchen had all the basics. And, I really appreciated the nice clean floors! We’d love to stay again!
