Carole was a great host and very helpful. It was our first time to stay “outside” of downtown Highlands but it was only a mile way. The weather was just right to enjoy the new fire pit outside as well as the fireplace in the living room (with wood and fire starter ready to light!).We had every thing we needed for eating in when we weren’t enjoying all of the incredible dining options nearby. It’s a little tricky if you want to walk into town but we found 2 options:Maney Rd directly across Hwy 28 or via a short trail at the end of Williamsburg Ct. in the adjacent neighborhood. We will definitely consider Carole’s place the next time we visit Highlands!
An exceptional apartment in an exceptional location! Before our arrival, the host added an additional heater to the house because temps were going to be in the low teens. Also, the wood burning indoor fireplace was an added bonus! Loved everything about the amenities and the proximity to downtown.
We lacked for nothing. We were very close to town and some great trails. The back porch was so nice and the inside fireplace was perfect. We would highly recommend for two people
The host was excellent at communication and very helpful. The location is very central and the space is on the smaller side but if the weather cooperates, the outside space compensates!
Loved it!! The apartment is very comfortable, clean and located close to town. The fireplace and fire pit make for a relaxing evening inside and outside.
Carole was extremely communicative and called when I wasn't able to find the check-in information. The space was cozy and we definitely used the fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking, and everything was clean. We wold definitely come back!
Was very clean and warm and cozy. The house was fully stocked with all the essentials and was quite, but near town.Carole , the host could not of been nicer and helpful. Would definitely go back again.
This property was perfect for a couple's weekend getaway to Highlands. It was close and easy to get to town. The property was nicely appointed for our stay. The screened in porch was our favorite feature, which included a sitting area as well as a dining table.
Very convenient location. The “cottage” is actually the basement of a house, but it was private. It could really use some TLC,a thorough cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. It has a very damp, musty smell. On the positive side it does take pets and is convenience to town is great.
This is an adorable and homey vrbo rental. Very close to Highlands Main St for breakfast and dinner and shopping. Easy to get to waterfalls. I was dropping my daughter off at camp and we stayed here 2 nights and had a perfect visit. Would stay again!
