About this property
Enjoy a slice of heaven from Treetop Cabin; majestic views, private, cozy, hot tub, AC.
Escape the summer heat or enjoy the magic of winter in the treetops of the Smoky Mountains. At Treetop Cabin, you will have everything you need to be cozy and comfortable while you enjoy an authentic mountain experience. The floor plan was designed to be ideal for three couples, or for a couple with children, all desiring their own private spaces and rooms to be together. This charming mountain cabin has three floors and three bedrooms with the 3rd bedroom being the upstairs loft. Snuggle up in front of the traditional stone front wood burning fireplace and watch a movie on the HD TV on satellite, DVD or VCR.
Nestled high in the treetops,at 4000 feet elevation, the cabin offers westward views of the Great Smoky Mountains and eastward views towards beautiful Maggie Valley. Enjoy a round of golf at one of many courses in the Western North Carolina foothills, fly-fish for trout in an icy mountain stream, rafting in the tumbling Nantahala or French Broad Rivers, or snowboard down nearby Cataloochee Ski Area. Then relax, in the evening, submersed in the 'hot tub under the stars' while cooking dinner on the grill.
This property does not have internet.

Money will not be refunded due to improper vehicles, or due to not being able to get to cabin. This means no sport cars, hybrids, front wheel drive mini vans or sedans, motorcycles or trailers. Four-wheel drive vehicles only. This property is dog friendly. Less than a 20 minute drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on History Channel's “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In about 25 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This cabin is about a 30 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah's has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
About 50 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America's largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately, 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are just under 1 hour 35 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
