You really could not ask for a better location! Adorable historic cottage, perfect for a family of pirate-obsessed little boys. Just a short walk from Front Street, you’ll enjoy easy access to all the shops, restaurants, and historic museums Beaufort has to offer. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for the review. We are thrilled that everyone enjoyed their stay! Hope to host you all again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our family Beaufort vacation. We loved being close enough to walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, museums and the Farmers market. Missed not having closet space but old home quirks are to be expected.

Lovely historic house, super convenient to the downtown area, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, off street parking, nice front porch, close to Saturday market, washer/dryer, great restaurants within walking distance. The host accepts pets, which was super important to us. Many thanks!

We are thrilled that everyone had a great time and enjoyed the cottage. Thank you for the review. Looking forward to hosting you again.
I would have given this property 5 stars but the cleaning people showing up 40 minutes prior to our checkout was tacky at best. I asked for an early check-in and the host (who immediately responded and said that she would tell us when the place would be ready) ghosted us on check-in day.Other than that and the terrible gravel noise from the massive Beaufort water lines construction, this place was perfect. Small and quaint. The checkin process is great and the walk to everything is just a few blocks. I would recommend this place for sure! Very nice and priced fine. You will enjoy it if you are Beaufort Grocery fans like we are!!

I am sorry that I was not able to let you check-in early without paying for early check-in. I do my best to get guests in as soon as it is possible. The cleaning company was sitting in their car on the street 20 minutes prior to your checkout... I apologize and have asked them not to do that again. On behalf of the Town of Beaufort, apologies for the construction. Completely out of my control. And on behalf of other future hosts, please review based on the house and host. I appreciate you staying.
The hostess reached out & let us know that we could check in early. The house had everything we needed including coffee, shampoo & body wash, games. When we arrived, there was no water. The hostess contacted tge town of Beaufort & they sent someone right over who fixed it.The house was close to everything!

Home was great for our short trip to Beaufort - plenty of room for our family and dogs and easy walk to pretty much everything in town! We had a wonderful stay.
We loved this little home. It had everything we needed and the location was amazing. A few blocks away from the main “drag” with great restaurants and beautiful views of the water. We enjoyed the slower pace that Beaufort offered and the history was fantastic!

This was our second stay at the Historic Corner Cottage. The house is just right for us and the location is perfect. Jess is super and responds quickly. The house is very clean and well equipped for welcoming guests. We spent our mornings and evenings enjoying the peaceful front porch. The house is in downtown Beaufort with plenty of neighbors walking by and chatting. We look forward to staying here again!

You and your family are welcome anytime and we appreciate you staying every year. Thank you for the review. We are thrilled to know everyone enjoyed their time.
My brother and I had A wonderful stay the location was great just one block from downtown waterfront. We entertain some of our family members Who stayed at the hotel for the reunion, they were impressed with the little house. Jess made herself available throughout our stay and was very Kind and helpful. I would rent this cottage again for our next family reunion.
This was our third stay at the Windsor House and we love it every time. The location is perfect on a quiet street but close to everything. The house has become a key part of our summer holiday and it feels like returning home every time we arrive. It is very functional and the kitchen is stocked with essentials. We will always come back any time we visit Beaufort. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us!

We loved our stay at this cottage! The front porch with rockers was our favorite feature as was the charm of this historic place. It included everything we might need for the kitchen, and plenty of towels. The host was super responsive and helpful. It was a quick walk to the fun downtown/waterfront area. We highly recommend!

Lovely cottage for a week at the beach. The space was well laid out with cute beach themed decor. The dining room was great for lunches and board games between our adventures. The location was fantastic. We walked to the ferry for the beach and downtown for dinner every day. Jess was super responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we needed anything.

Why they chose this property
Beaufort has become our favorite place on the planet. We love the salt air, beautiful streets, friendly people, food... the list goes on and on. The Windsor House is what locals described as "cute as a button". It offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and the location is absolutely perfect. We can walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Anything and everything is just a short trip... Atlantic Beach, Morehead City and all the Crystal Coast has to offer. All the neighbors, locals and visitors, greet you with a smile. The cottage was built in 1886, with hardwood floors and that old world charm, but modern conveniences have been added to make life at the Windsor House just about perfect.
What makes this property unique
The front porch has a swing and rocking chairs, perfect for evenings of unwinding while sipping a drink and taking in the beauty and breezes. You can walk to the waterfront in 5 minutes. The 140 year old house was built by a Fishing Captain in the historic district of Beaufort.
