Cozy Pet Friendly 1 Bedroom Cabin on the water with 1 Boat Slip Included.

Nice 1 bedroom/1 bath cabin just steps from the water with your own boat dock included in the rental. Recently updated, clean and comfortable getaway. Sleeps 2 comfortably but does have a sofa sleeper that can sleep 2 extra.
Bring your own boat or rent one of our onsite pontoons and enjoy some "UpNorth" lake living!

All of our cabins have been recently updated and are just steps from the water. We have ice and firewood on site. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and Charcoal BBQ with BBQ utensils. All of our cabins are full housekeeping cabins. They come equipped with everything you need to cook meals. All bedding and linens are included. Bring your own bath towels.

We supply TP, Paper Towels, Kleenex, hand and dish soap.

Birchwood stay

Everything about the cabin was great, the owners were friendly and the pontoon was almost brand new and in great shape. Overall great experience and we are already planning on returning next year. Cabin 2 is a 2-3 ppl max cabin. Lastly the fishing is pretty good to.

I was working in the area for the week and my wife was working remotely. It was great to have a view of the lake each night after a day of work. We were able to use our kayaks each day and able to unwind with nature. Rick was the perfect host of keeping us informed of the area.

Excellent long weekend getaway

I spent a relaxing extended weekend with my dog at this cabin, and it was lovely. It's right on the water, and has a partially shaded/sunny yard with a calming view of Birch Lake. The area was extremely quiet during my stay- you can hear the birds chirp and the wind rustle the trees. The cabin itself was quaint, cozy and as described. The owners are helpful and kind. I rented a kayak from them one day to explore the lake- they also have boats available. There's hiking trails close by (Murphy Flowage and Hunt Hill Audubon Society) among others. This was a great end-of-summer recharge- I would return in the future. :)

Perfect Quiet Retreat

This little cabin was perfect for what I needed :) Everything in the cabin was immaculate, and everything that I needed in the kitchen was close at hand (I had brought a kettle to boil water for tea, but there was one already there!) I had mentioned that I wanted a quiet place for a retreat in my VRBO request to stay, and Rick even went to the trouble of not blowing leaves near the cabin, while I was there. Very nice place, didn't feel uncomfortable one iota, especially when traveling by myself. Would love to return in the future. :)

This was a perfect little escape for our family of three - Rick and Shelly are excellent hosts and we had everything we needed. The breeze off the lake was refreshing and we rented a pontoon one of our days there to explore out on the water. We will be back!
