Hyco lake with pool , huge views, X large boathouse,

Recently remodeled home with pool on Hyco Lake. Enter the home and you see walls of windows displaying a huge lake and swimming pool area views. ADDING FOR SUMMER OF 2024: canoe, another paddle board, 2 kayaks, home gym in garage, new Wet Step ladder system on dock for easy entry/exit from swimming in lake, newly remodeled basement bath, pickle ball courts across the street at park. Maximum of 8 guests on property at any/all times strictly enforced (and we require a signed supplemental rental agreement that outlines all house rules).

The home was remodeled in 2018 to include brand new chef’s kitchen, updated bathrooms, refinished HW floors, completely repainted interior, all new light and plumbing fixtures, brand new furniture, and 3 large flat screen TV’s. Also, a large addition to the boathouse was added that includes a huge upper deck and large covered eating area.

The open floor plan features a chef’s kitchen with all new stainless appliances including a Wolf Range, new cabinets, and quartzite countertops. The kitchen island overlooks the family and dining room both featuring walls of windows and spectacular views. The FR has a 60” flat screen TV and the DR seats 8 plus space at the bar. There is also a large desk next to the fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a gourmet cook would expect.

The basement offers a seperate family room area with large sectional sofa, 60” flat screen TV, and dining area with seating for 8. There is also a wet bar area that includes a sink and microwave. Enjoy playing darts or board games or watch movies or sporting events in this large living area that has amazing views of the pool and the lake.

The home has multiple outdoor living spaces that include a massive brick patio area surrounding the pool with outdoor living room furniture, 2 chaise lounges, and dining table with seating for 4. There is also a brand new Weber Grill and Corn Hole. Furthermore, there is an upper deck that features a large bar overlooking the pool and the lake. Finally, the newly remodeled boathouse also features multiple living spaces: upper deck is 23x35’ and features a bar top dining room table that seats up to 8. The water is very deep (12’+ at dock’s edge) so swimming is fun and safe. The boathouse also features a lower covered area with dining room table that seats 6 and sectional sofa and another sun deck area that is 15’x40’ with 2 chaise lounges and 4 new Adirondack chairs. Bring your boat and safely tie it to the side of the dock.

The home can comfortably sleep 8. The MBR on the main floor features a king bed, 40” flat screen TV, and private bath. The guest BR on the upper floor has a queen size bed and private access to a guest bathroom. The lower level bedroom features 2 extra long double beds and a private bath. Also, on the lower level is a large wash room that has 1 twin bed and room for multiple blow up mattresses (not provided). Lastly, the basement area has a large open area that easily accommodates blow up mattresses (not provided).

Other amenities: separate fridge on the dock, plenty of floats and pool toys, and a Bose Bluetooth speaker (not waterproof).

Also, there is an excellent - safe area for walking or running directly across the street at boat ramp park.

The home is located at 1 of the most convenient spots on the lake directly across from the campground and boat ramp. There are walking - nature trails and frisbee golf right across the street from our driveway.

Long term (more than 1 week) and off season rentals (October - April) are possible. Please call with questions.

Note: the pool is not heated and isn’t opened October - early May and can be chilly in early and late season. We also require an accurate accounting of total guests when making your reservation and strictly enforce the limit of 8 total guests anywhere on the property during your visit. Lastly, we do not allow pets but we have 2 pugs. Although our cleaning crew puts a heavy focus on removing any pet hair from our dogs, any allergies to dog hair should be considered.
