Beautiful mountain home nestled in the treetops, just 2.3 miles from downtown.

This lovely mountain home has 4 bedrooms, the master bedroom (with king bed) and bath, are located on the first floor and has a sliding glass door that opens onto the large open deck. You will find a second bathroom on the 1st floor as well. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with a king bed one with twin beds. There is also a sun/tv room on the second floor just off two of the bedrooms. The third bath is upstairs and features a large picture window that brings the outdoors in! The open downstairs living area is inviting and comfortable. With a dining area that can accommodate 8 and a kitchen equipped with everything needed you will find nothing has been left out. The inviting covered wrap around deck has plenty of rockers for relaxing and enjoying nature. The basement is equipped with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Wonderful Stay

Lloyd’s lookout was a great place. We enjoyed reading on the comfortable, spacious porch. Eating on the deck, and relaxing by the fire. There is lots of room for guests and the kitchen is very well equipped. We spent the month of August, and loo forward to future visits

Woodsy retreat

So much better than it looks!

We stayed here for my husbands 40th birthday with 3 other couples. The house is clean and it was so much better than the pictures made it look. Only thing is there is no central air but the weather was wonderful, even in July. We would go back to this cabin in a heartbeat! Great location too!

Lloyd’s Lookout For The Win!

We had a wonderful stay at LL - 8 of us for an overdue family Thanksgiving. Plenty of room for everyone. Great kitchen and bathrooms. Very close to Bryson’s and Brushy Face (where the rest of our family was). Laundry room was a great bonus. Thank you for having us!

Very nice mountain getaway

Our family enjoyed staying in Lloyd’s Lookout in June 2022. We enjoyed the porch and deck and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen is updated and well stocked. There were plenty of fans to keep us cool all day and overnight. The location is great, very quiet yet also very close to town. We had a great time and leave with fond memories.

Great location close to Highlands

House had plenty of space for our group of 5. Deck area was relaxing and enjoyable. We spent lots of time there. Interesting family house. 5 people drinking 3 cups of coffee a day went through a lot of Kuerig cups in a week. The rest of the kitchen supplies were well stocked. Our family enjoyed ourselves and the break from the Florida heat.

Family reunion

We had a family reunion in highlands NC and needed homes to house twenty people near a home where our relatives live In highlands. We rented Lloyd’s lookout lodge and it was perfect for our family of adult children and their significant others. The property has a very comfortable cabin feeling which my kids enjoyed as they have grown up enjoying our lake cabin. The property was clean, welcoming, homey, and comfortable. A great place to relax, laugh and enjoy each other’s company.. very accessible to town and other venues. The deck is awesome a great place to gather and have other members of our group visit and join in family activities. The driveway is a bit tricky and not much room but easy to navigate after a couple of try’s. This is a great home for large family gatherings. The owners were very responsive to our questions and provided very clear instructions. Highly recommend.

Great getaway location

This was our second stay at this property, and we were happy to return to the deck to enjoy meals and conversation. We enjoyed being close to hiking trails and to the town of Highlands in the evening for concerts and a nice restaurant.

My family stayed at Lloyd’s lookout for thanksgiving and had a great time. The house was close to Main Street in highlands. My wife loved the updated kitchen and the porch. I would stay here again.

Fantastic getaway location!

We thoroughly enjoyed the ability to relax on the deck looking out through the trees over morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. Amenities were excellent. Plenty of room for a small group of friends to regroup after hiking and music performances.

Lookout fun.

My family and I had a great stay at Lloyds Lookout. House was great and comfortable for me and my family with plenty of room, comfortable beds and great views from beautiful deck and porch. House was cozy and close to downtown area. There is no central air conditioning but there were many portable fans in the house and the weather is cool at nighttime.
