Come enjoy our gorgeous dock on the Toogoodoo River! Sun yourself on our floating dock or enjoy the cool breezes under the covered portion. Recently renovated home with can’t miss sunset views and coastal theme. 3 bedrooms with a king, queen and triple bunk bed. Note: we are located about 30-45 minutes from downtown Charleston, SC. Near the beautiful sites, but far enough to offer peace and quiet. Not far from Edisto Beach and Kiawah Island. Middleton and Magnolia Plantations are within a 30 minute drive. Sleeps up to 8 with triple bunk and futon. Very quiet and peaceful and a perfect place to see a spectacular sunset!

Please dispose garbage at the Hollywood convenience center at 5305 SC-165, Hollywood, SC, It’s fine to leave one bag behind if it is closed that day
Please pull the ladder up on the floating dock and secure it when not in use. It gets barnacles all over it when left in the water. 
Absolutely no smoking in the house, and please dispose of butts properly if smoking outside.

This home was perfect for us, very affordable. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. The dock is very sturdy and well constructed. The owner was also a pleasure to deal with. The house was just as described. Private with a large lot. Woke up to the neighbor's rooster every morning. Perfect waterfront property, with a LONG deep water dock. The dock was amazing. Cool breeze all the time. Able to catch some crabs and watched the dolphins go by every day. Was a little disappointed that the kayak launch was no longer there, forcing us to carry our kayaks to the nearby boat ramp instead. But, it was not a big deal. The house was spacious for all of us, with lots of places to "hang out". The kitchen was spacious for more than one cook and was well stocked with lots of utensils. Bathrooms were updated and comfortable. The only drawback was the hanging barn door in the hall bathroom, which was not that private. Great TP BTW. Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

Relaxing weekend

The home was very clean and in a quiet area. The dock was very nice and we enjoyed both fishing and relaxing by the water. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again.

It rained the whole weekend but the open layout of the lovely home gave us the opportunity for lots of interaction with the family. There were lots of games to play and we put a large puzzle together. During the time the rain stopped, we did visit the dock and saw a sting ray, a large crab, jellyfish, shrimp and shark. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans for cooking meals. We all enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Great place!

The house and dock were exactly what we were looking for. We are always on the hunt for a nice house with an awesome dock for our 2 boats and we found it. Situated between Charleston and Edisto, it’s perfect for an easy boat trip to either location. We look forward to being back!

Quiet Comfortable Stay

Beautiful and comfortable home; enjoyed morning visit from neighbor's chickens; quiet neighborhood; view from dock is absolutely the best, but did find the boardwalk to be a little risky due to no rails and the same for the dock; overall a great house with excellent kitchen supplies and linens available.

We purchased this home to use for our family and to offer to guests. It has been a labor of love for two years as we did much of the work ourselves and patiently waited to have our dock finished.

Why they chose this property

Most of my husband's family lives out in that area. We bought the house from a family who grew up there and we did so much work to update it.

What makes this property unique

It's a chance to experience Charleston and the surrounding area in a more remote location, while enjoying the water and gorgeous views.
