'Southview' has 5 large bedrooms and is just a short distance away from Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld attractions of Orlando. It lies in a quiet secluded enclave of luxurious private executive homes surrounded by wooded areas and lakes.

Lake Berkley is a prestigious gated resort with a 24/7 security guard. It is centered around three sparkling lakes, with club house and recreational facilities. Our pool and spa enjoy all day sunshine and overlook a lake that provides a truly tranquil place to relax and enjoy the peace away from the many local attractions.

Our professionally converted dedicated interior game room has a full-size slate-bed pool table, 80 inch air hockey table, 49 inch Smart TV . It also has a large sectional SOFA BED, just made for lounging in front of the TV. The room is decorated with an eclectic mix of pool room memorabilia and all things USA!!! This room could be used as additional sitting room if required.

Most of the main rooms look out onto the beautiful pool and lake view. The Great Room has a cathedral ceiling giving a light, airy and spacious feel. It has three soft sumptuous 3 seater leather couches. For your enjoyment we provide a home entertainments system, which includes an 52 inch LCD HDTV Sling TV channels with Home Theatre System complete with DVD player with an iPod dock. Sliding doors lead from the open plan kitchen and breakfast area onto the pool deck. Granite kitchen counter-tops have been installed, it has a large oven range, dishwasher and microwave, You will find it has a large table seating for six, and two stools at the counter top, you'll be able to look onto the pool decking thus allowing you to enjoy the lakefront scenes whilst eating. There is an additional formal dining area for six conveniently situated near the kitchen. With its exquisite glass top table and ornate ironwork it truly is an elegant area to entertain.

The genuine south-facing pool and spa allow for maximum sunshine hours on the pool-deck which overlooks a lake. A handrail is provided to help those of limited mobility to and from the pool. Privacy on the pool deck is of paramount importance, and to facilitate this we have a fence on both sides of the pool deck, without compromising the wonderful view beyond.

The opulently decorated master suite is located downstairs and overlooks the pool and lake. Furnished with a magnificent King-size bed with pillow-top mattress, 40 inch Sling TV and DVD. The large bathroom includes a Roman-style oval bathtub, WC, separate shower cubicle, new Shaker style vanity unit, with a large square sink and granite counter top and walk in wardrobe with a SAFE.

On this floor is another luxurious bedroom which has a new king-size bed with a pillow-top mattress. It has fitted a wardrobe, dresser, a 32 inch flat screen wall mounted remote controlled Sling TV. Opposite this room is a bathroom, fitted with a shower cubicle, WC and upgraded Shaker style wash basin with a large square sink on top of a granite counter top .

The fully-equipped laundry room with large capacity washer, dryer, iron and ironing board is also located downstairs.

Upstairs you will find another sumptuous master bedroom with its own en-suite, which includes a shower cubicle, WC and hand basin. It has a huge King bed with pillow-top mattress, which is vibrantly decorated, a style to bring out the romantic in you. It has a 40 inch Sling TV and VCR.

The family bathroom has a large square wash basin sitting on a granite counter top, which is on top of a Shaker style vanity unit. This bathroom has a bath tub with overhead shower and WC.

The two twin bedrooms each have XL twin beds with pillow-top mattresses, both have their own wall mounted 32 inch flat screen remote controlled Sling TV. One of these bedrooms can be converted into a FOURTH KING if required. The second twin bedroom has a Mickey Mouse theme and a PS2 with two controllers and games.

The gated community has a clubhouse, three minutes walk from Southview, one has spa, gym/fitness room, lounge, large flat screen TV. Outside is large pool and separate children's wading pool complete with water cannons. The pool area is fully compliant for disabled users. Close by is a tots-lot which can be used by the community. There are tennis and basketball courts almost opposite the house. The main lake has a small beachfront, gazebo and volley ball court, another tots lot, jogging track and small nature trail running beside the lake.

The house is located near to the popular Route 192 with its many shops and restaurants. Only 1 mile from WalMart!

Wow. Wonderful. A really fantastic south facing villa with a lovely view out over the lake. The villa was very clean and tidy with very nice decor throughout and everything supplied to make an enjoyable stay. The villa is situated in a secure guarded quiet area in Kissimmee close to a Walmart and easy access to the main Disney World access routes. The owner, Maddie, was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. I have stayed at various villas around the Kissimmee and Eagle Point area and this villa comes highly recommended. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

I absolutely LOVED my stay! Check-in was smooth and easy—the host was great, very communicative, and the instructions were clear, which made everything stress-free.The place was spotless and felt welcoming right from the start. Lots of space

The three king sized beds were a big plus for us. We were glad we paid the extra to have the pool heated. Kitchen was well equipped as were the linens and towels. Quiet neighborhood, went on lots of walks. Property manager was also very accessible and friendly.

Comfortable home in great location

Very comfortable property that suited not only my teenage daughters but my elderly grandfather as well. The pool and outdoor area was great and the kids also enjoyed the ducks and turtles in the lake. The house itself was very comfortable and the master bedroom and en suite bathroom suited my grandfather perfectly as he has limited mobility. There were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well-equipped and bedrooms all comfortable. The location was great too - there's a Walmart within walking distance and plenty of restaurants, supermarkets etc nearby. The parks are all within short driving distance. But best of all was Maddie - she was a dream to rent from, friendly, responsive and always ready to help. I can't recommend her place enough and we'll definately be back.

Very nice big house with decent pool and nice hot tub.

We spend 3 nights at Maddie's house and had a great time! the pool and the hot tub were great (although not that big as we imagined based on the pictures); the games room was amazing and the beds super comfortable. The neighborhood is super quiet and the small lake is ok. Recommended for a large group./ w/ or w/o kids.

Great Christmas Vacation Home for our family

The house was great. With the 5 bedrooms we could accommodate our son and his twins, our daughter and her husband and of course us so that at night we had our separate areas. The common areas were large and could seat all of us. The den was great as the twins could get away and play and not be bothered. The kitchen was well equipped for when we wished to cooked. The house is a short distance from many restaurants. It is easy to come and go through the gated area. The heated pool is screened and was a nice get away for the children is the winter time. Also there are walking trails around the lake so the family could get out. Of course it is near Disney for the great time for all. We would highly recommend the home and when we visit Disney again will try to stay there again.

Outstanding stay in a "dream home"

We (a family of 6 with 4 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at Southview Easter week as a base to explore Orlando and visit the parks. From booking onwards we were assisted by the owner Maddie in impeccable fashion, read the reviews, its for real, this lady has a passion for her dream home and is an absolute delight to deal with, she really does go the extra mile to ensure that you have the very best chance of enjoying your stay. The property itself is outstanding, spacious, clean and equiped with so many extras that make a stay special right down to the fishing rods on the wall in the games room so that you can try your hand in the lake. If i could pick up Southview and drop it at home i would happily live in it for good! Ideally placed with easy access to the parks and just over an hours drive to the beach, yet close enough to numerous eateries and supermarkets all of which are clearly detailed within the house guide. As its name suggests the villa is indeed South facing and the pool area benefits the gorgeous sunshine for so much of the day. This was our first trip to Orlando but suffice to say that if returning we would not consider anywhere else to stay. Top tip ... take a ride out to Boggy Creek and get yourself an air boat ride to see the Gators up close and personal !! Many thanks Maddie for allowing us to share yours and Dennis's dream home, however could you please arrange for fish to jump on hooks, i sat on Dennis's bench for hours and they just don't like me !!!

We had a fantastic vacation and very comfortable accommodations. The house was very spacious and beds were comfortable. The owner (Madeleine) was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had; really enjoyed talking to her on the phone. Only thing I would add to the property is another guest book; seems like everyone has enjoyed their stay and you need another book so folks can continue to write about their visit; there was no room for us to write. Again...we had a wonderful experience and we would recommend this house to all. Thank You!

Excellent place to stay for a family vacation!

Southview is an excellent choice to stay for a family vacation. We had a group of 11 and there was plenty of room to comfortably entertain and sleep everyone! We really appreciated having our own private pool and spa for those late night or early morning swims, although we could use the Club House pool as well if we wanted. The view was spectacular! It was so nice to wake up with our morning coffee and enjoy a serene lakefront view. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was also great to have a full size grill for cooking. The home had plenty of bath and beach towels, and there was a huge washer and dryer. The development and grounds were well kept and it was nice to be in a place that had 24-hour security. The home was only a 2 minute drive to a 24-hour Walmart, Wawa, and several fast food restaurants or other services. You could also easily walk to these as well! Maddie provided excellent directions to the home from the airport, to Disney and other attractions in the Orlando area. We had such a relaxing and wonderful time! We can't wait to come back again!

An amazing home

We want to thank Maddie for allowing us to use her beautiful home. My husband and I treated our three adult children and our daughter-in-love to a trip to Disney and Universal in December and were able to use this beautiful property. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath and there is tons of room to spread out. The best part of this experience was dealing with Maddie. She is a total sweetheart and so accommodating and I feel that I made a new friend. The house had every amenity we could possibly use and was well decorated and clean. The guys enjoyed fishing right outside our door and I sat on Dennis's memory bench as I promised Maddie I would do. We highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Orlando area. It is very convenient to the parks and has tons of shopping and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Many thanks to Maddie for treating us as her guests even tho she was far away in England. She is only a phone call away if you have any questions or issues and she responds within a few hours or even minutes. We only needed one minor thing done while we were there and it was attended to right away. Thank you Maddie!

Denis and I were married for nearly thirty nine years before he sadly passed away. We had two children, Suzanne and Robert. We had grown up together and family life was central to us both. I had been fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom and made it my mission to provide a loving home environment for us all; this is something which I am immensely proud of. I have now turned my attention to our home in Florida. Families play an important role in our lives and we hope this devotion has transcended into our stunning home in Florida. We are fortunate to call previous guests, friends, and for us this is what owning a home is all about. Communication is the key…it is not a blind transaction, we are here to make sure your stay is as pleasurable as possible. Trust is also a key feature.

Our resort is so tranquil; a haven for wildlife and our newest addition is our fabulous community pool and splash area for adults and children alike! It is so central to all of Orlando’s attractions dining, shopping and much, much more.
