Chamonix A#12: Close to Canyon Lodge

Newly renovated 1-bedroom plus loft, 2-bathroom condo within walking distance of the Canyon Lodge Ski Area on Mammoth Mountain. Sleeps up to 6 guests.

Enter the condo on the second story from the exterior hallway into an open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen. The living room features a Smart TV, wood-burning stove, and deck access. The dining area seats 4, with additional seating at the kitchen bar. The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, perfect for preparing meals or enjoying a morning coffee.

The primary bedroom has a cozy queen bed, and the downstairs bathroom includes a separate sink area and a shower/tub combo. Upstairs, the loft offers a queen bed and a twin bunk bed set, along with a desk and flat-screen TV. The loft bathroom also has a separate sink and shower/tub combo. The loft is enclosed except for the stairwell area and a small opening to the living room.

Chamonix Condominiums provides excellent amenities, including a recreation room with a large-screen TV, reading area, ping pong, and foosball, as well as a sauna, hydro spas, a seasonal/summer swimming pool, and a summer BBQ area. Coin-operated laundry facilities are conveniently located near the office. Two unassigned parking spaces are available.

Chamonix 12 is ideally located for enjoying Mammoth Lakes year-round, with easy access to the ski area in winter and the bike park in summer. Internet and cable are provided (refunds cannot be made for connectivity issues). Please note: no pets, including service animals, are permitted in this condo or the Chamonix complex.

Great Location. Unit A12 was clean. Could use a regular old fashion coffee maker and not just the KCup kind. Only neg was the hot tubs on location were rather dirty.

Clean. Nice. Well stocked with all your kitchen accoutrements that you need. Walls are a bit thin but that is to be expected in a condo. Overall a great experience. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful updated condo

Kitchen is updated with high end appliances. Also everything you need to cook a nice meal, including salt, pepper and a large array of other spices. Very comfortable and clean with options of nightlights everywhere. Thank you for a great stay.

Christmas Trip

Great location, clean, plenty of room. The only complaint I would have is the cleaning person came in the unit without knocking 30 min before checkout and my girlfriend wasn’t decent. He didn’t see her but very well could have 20 seconds prior.

Great Area, Almost Great Condo

I took 1 star off because the condo had a plugged chimney (think snow filled it up) couldn't use it. Also we had 6 staying there for 3 nights but only got 4 towels total. As well as 1 garbage bag to use on Christmas day opening presents filled the 1 bag. Had to call the company to send out more towels and trash bags. Luckily they sent them quick. Besides that it was a great stay. Beautiful area, great hot tub, peaceful. Kids played in the snow all day. All in all a great Christmas.

Needs improvement

Great location and easy check in. The fireplace did not work. All the smoke set off the smoke detector. The WiFi was very poor. The stove took at least 2 hours to heat up and the only big burner was missing. This made cooking extremely difficult and took forever. There were no dish towels. The shower drains did not drain. Jacuzzi was great although no working jets in either Jacuzzi.

The speed of the internet is greatly affected by how many guests are visiting Mammoth at the time of your stay. Nice place, great location

Nice place, well equipped in general except the oven didn't work and I had to re-insert one of the cooktop burners. Had everything needed to prepare meals including spices which was a surprise.

Good location

The space was great for a family of five. Relatively close to the canyon lodge. The only issue was the oven didn’t work.

Nice place

Clean and comfortable. Stove had half of the burners out so it limited our cooking but oven worked good. Nice complex amenities.
