Absolutely beautiful views off the large deck overlooking K-Bay. Beds are very comfortable for a great nights sleep after enjoying Homer! Quiet and peaceful surroundings and just minutes from the Spit.

Not Clean, Musty Smelling Linens, Bathroom Not Safe
I'll start with the positives: this place has a great view of the mountains from the deck. The location was quiet and relatively convenient. One of the beds was semi-comfortable.
Now the negatives: very steep narrow stairs to enter, bathroom was unsafe with the toilet on a raised pedastal and a loose wood block to use as a step stool to get onto it. Shower was wedged into a corner with a sloped roof. My husband and 13 yr old son could not stand up straight in it. The whole place smelled musty and dusty. You could see visible cobwebs and dust on the light fixtures, window frames and furniture. No dishwasher and only 3 of each dish & utensil. Sheets may have been washed, but the blankets & comforters were not. They smelled like dirty laundry. I had to go buy laundry soap & febreeze. I washed the sheets and remade the beds then sprayed febreeze on the pillows & blankets. This barely improved the smell. One of the beds was very soft & springy...not in a good way. The other was barely comfortable. The sofa bed was filthy. We found old dirty clothing folded into the bed when we opened it. The sofa bed was also extraordinarily uncomfortable. You could feel all the spings and lumps. I do not recommend this plce for anyone other than maybe college students who don't know any better/can sleep on the ground and be confortable. The cleanliness issue was really a huge disappointment, especially since Covid-19 is still raging!

If you look at all our reviews, you will see that you are the only ones that have given us a bad review about our cleaning.I do carefully wash all our laundry and blankets, dust all our surfaces and disinfect. As you can see my review,I knew from the start that you were going to be problematic! There always seems to be someone you cannot please! And to top it off,you left the place dirtiest of all our visitors this year! Enough said!
This property was perfect for us. In early August the Fireweed is in full bloom and just beautiful. The deck view is incredible. Accommodations were as described and very comfortable for our needs.
Just my son and I. The physical location was excellent - deck provided great views, away from Homer, but close. Was spartan, but well appointed. Excellent job with decor, wth all the amenities. The only concerning area was the bathroom, which can be described as 'creative', with the elevated toilet some soft spots in the floor.
If you don't mind being a little out of town, this is a lovely place to stay. It is very sweet inside with all kinds of fun touches, the beds are super comfortable and the deck was a nice place to sit and look at the bay. There are steep stairs to the front door and inside to the upstairs apartment which might be challenging for elderly visitors. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Great property with an amazing host/owner. Deborah and Michael were welcoming, attentive yet allowed space. The property was very charming with just the right amount of "Alaska charm" expectations for a semi secluded getaway. The place was imaculate and perfectly decorated. If this property is available and you are looking for a great getaway just barely outside of Homer, this is it. Thank you Deborah and Michael for a wonderful stay!
Diamond ridge is a gorgeous property and very serene. The accommodations and breathtaking views have made this my favorite spot to date. What a great place to unwind for a week.

We thoroughly enjoyed your visit.Folks like you make it so worthwhile to rent our place! It makes my day to know that someone has captured the beauty of our home in Homer!
Amazing views of mountains and ocean from the deck. Well furnished kitchen. Beautifully furnished throughout. Super comfy beds -- perfect after a day of fishing, hiking, or sightseeing.
This property TOTALLY lives up to its name -- HEAVENLY Ridge.
Great location for visiting Homer. We did not spend a lot of time at the cabin as we were out on the water most days. The kitchen was nice for our coffee and breakfasts and would be great if you wanted to make meals here. The view from the deck was fantastic. But the best part for us was that we could be in Homer on the Spit in minutes.
The only thing that would have made it better for us would have been if we could have made the bedroom darker. We are just not accustomed to having daylight all night long.
But overall, a great place to stay with nice owners on site.
If you want to be able to relax in a quiet location, this is a great rental. It's a short drive into Homer but free from the congestion of tourists. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the view was amazing when the clouds lifted. I went with a friend who has some mobility issues and uses a cane. The stairs are extra steep and tall and the toilet and bathtub are raised up on platforms, so it was a bit of a challenge in terms of accessibility. We were able to manage, though, and we're planning to return again!

Peaceful beauty
A very lovely place to stay. We brought most of our food and cooked at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our beds were soft, comfy and loaded with warm blankets. The view varies from the garden below to the meadows and trees out to the waters of the bay.
A great place to stay to get out of the hustle and bustle of Anchorage.

Great location to explore Homer
We enjoyed our stay here and our conversations with Deborah. The location up on the ridge has a great view and is well out of the tsunami inundation zone, which is a plus given the several possible sources of tsunamis in this area. We explored the ridge as well as town and Kachemak Bay and had a great time. The two bedroom apartment occupies part of a former horse barn (now a storage and open area) and is cozy and comfortable with a nice deck overlooking the garden, open land, and the bay. The stairs up into the apartment are slightly steeper than typical U.S. stairwells, so if you have trouble with stairs in general or hauling luggage up stairs, that might be a factor to consider. The full kitchen is great, nice to have a laundry; beds are comfy. Quiet, private location. Delightful!

Comfortable beds and fantastic view
While the house is a bit quirky (unusual bathroom and steep steps up to the loft living area) we enjoyed our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept really well even with extended daylight. We were really happy to see a moose walk through the yard about 11 pm (after the sun had set). We enjoyed the peace and quiet, sitting on the deck, and the beautiful view. We were only a few minutes from town so we had it all.
