We absolutely LOVED this cabin! Great location! 15 min from nearby stores, but you feel very secluded. We loved being right on the water! Very clean and the property management was very nice to work with. We will absolutely revisit!

hi Jennifer, thank you for your kind review. We are so happy you had a great stay and we can't wait to host you again!
We enjoyed our stay. Place was very clean. Was very disappointed in your pet policy, so decided not to bring our 8 lb dog. She is definitely a lap dog and did not feel welcome.!
Loved our time there, the location was great, in the middle of the woods down a long winding driveway...beautiful. Kids (and wife) had fun wading in the creek. Cabin was nice, my only complaints would be that the co2 detectors both went dead and were chirping loudly every few minutes until I was able to locate them and remove the batteries, and that there is no hot tub that seems to be standard in most cabin rentals. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would rent this again without hesitation.

Very glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry! You had to experience the chirping of the co2 detectors. Hope to see you back again soon.
Wonderful.. waking up each morning to the sound of the rushing water..
Overall I would like to say I will return to this property hopefully within the next year… We had a small problem no water one morning but within the afternoon they had sent plumbers to take care of it ..we were back in business... The property is cozy, comfortable and the view is over the top..

Jane, we are so glad to hear you had a good stay. We hope to have you back soon!
This cabin was perfect for a relaxing getaway! Tucked away in the woods with the river running behind it was just breathtaking. It was very clean and well maintained. The lock on front door was a little tricky. If you were nitpicking you could find little things to be aggravated about but none that would keep me from staying there again. The views and large porches made up for any other annoyances there may have been. There were 5 of us and the family dog. You can hear every movement upstairs from below but that wasn't terrible for us. We loved our stay here and it was truly "A Tranquil Place"!
Please was great. The river was a little strong so the kids couldn’t play in it but I saw some people try to tube down it. The cabin had everything we needed.
My family had a fantastic 4-day vacation in this mountain paradise! The cabin was very nice and met all of our needs. The scenery was breathtaking. We loved the creek running through the back of the property. Just listening to the water run through the rocks was relaxing. We have adult children and grandchildren that were smitten with this place. We all want to return next summer. We took many hikes and waded in the creek. We went for long walks along the mountain road. We cooked together and made wonderful memories. The fact that our fur baby was welcome was an added bonus.
The cabin and property was awesome! Just what our family was looking for, clean and plenty of room with beautiful scenery. The creek was amazing. Only negative was the dust and cobwebs inside the cabin. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be returning.
Had a wonderful time relaxing at cabin and sightseeing throughout the North Georgia mountains. Some of the families first time up there and they all can’t wait to come back.
I plan on going back in the Spring. Beautiful cabin right on the river. Comfortable beds. The fire pit next to the river was a blast. Did not expect snow but got 6 inches and omg the beauty really showed. Perfect Birthday weekend.
we loved and enjoyed the cabin every single second! looked much better than in pictures it was cozy and pretty well located with local restaurants and shops 15minutes away.
Only thing I would say is bedroom and bathroom locks are old and most of them don't quite lock, which in terms of privacy can be a little inconvenient. Aside from that everything was perfect!!
Garbage cans outside was completely full, so taking out trash was a problem until they dumped it.
Cabin was beautiful inside and out. Upon entering the cabin we all smelled pine sol and the floors were still wet. We arrived at 3:50 p.m. in the afternoon. You will only get 1 small roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, so BRING extra. We had 5 adults with 3 women, so 2 small rolls did not last very long at all. The tv in the living room is at a odd angle to watch for any length of time, hurts your neck. The upstairs is VERY NOISEY for anyone walking or coming down the stairs, wooden floors throughout. Bedroom above master is LOUD!!!! Maybe putting down some rugs would help to quiet it a bit. When someone gets up to go to the bathroom everyone knows it. The bed mattresses need to be replaced and all the beds springs are EXTREMELY squeaky and LOUD. There are worn places on both sides of the bed with all beds in the house. Bed spread in master bedroom has a hole in it, so it should be replaced or fixed if possible. Upstairs will get extremely hot, but downstairs stays nice, heat rises..... Towels are basic towels and I felt they left you plenty for our use. Porch areas are very nice, but cobwebs are present. We did kill two big spiders out there during our stay. Ashtrays should be provided, so if you have a smoker you might want to bring one or use a plastic cup with water as we did. The firepit is extremely nice and so pleasant to set around a fire. We brought fire logs and glad we did. There is no firewood available to use or provided. There is tackle and rods available to use if you want to try to fish. The rapids were running strong while we were there, so fly fishing was not working too well. Water was very clear the first day we arrived but after a bit of rain it clouded up pretty bad. It did clear back up before we left but still moving pretty fast. We did get a bit of snow, which was wonderful. It was relaxing at this cabin, but none of us got much sleep due to people having to move around. We did find spots to catch naps during our off time.
I've been in many cabins over the years and A Tranquil Place is definitely one of the better ones. My family loved it and we will definitely be back to this cabin.
We come to Blue Ridge often and definitely this time every year in celebration of our wedding anniversary. We have never stayed at this “Tranquil Place” before, but will try to every time we come from now on. It is indeed a tranquil place that sits just above the waters of Fightingtown Creek which is far more like a river. We sat on the porch and rocked and listened to the rhythmic sounds that come from the rapids that are just below. This has been one of our best trips ever. The master bed was comfortable and the cabin is clean. It is small but was exactly what my husband and I needed. I have and will recommend it to anyone who wants to drink in nature at its best and enjoy all that it has to offer.
This cabin is located in a beautiful wooded setting on Fightingtown Creek. The creek is breathtaking and the covered porch provides amazing views.
What was not pleasurable was all the built up dust and dirt inside the cabin and how rude the property manager Keri was about it when I brought it to her attention.
