The amenities were great, everything that we could possibly need was there. the WIFI was excellent. The wash machine worked great. We felt like we were home
Cozy apartment in the center of Latin quarter. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to everything. No AC so might be uncomfortable during the heat waves. There are fans though in every room. Also it’s a 3rd story walk up, which didn’t matter to us, we’re fit.
We’ll supplied, had everything we needed. Host was pleasant and helpful. The three flights of winding stairs were a challenge after a long day sightseeing. The front door lock was very difficult to work. I believe he was planning on changing it.
.
The only even slightly negative comments are the 59 steps from street level to reach the apartment. At 72 years old, we both had a a bit of dread each time we started the climb.
The effort was always worth it on reaching the compact but complete and efficient apartment.
Kitchen was great and shopping nearby.
Location was great wit access to subway, buses and RER trains less than a block away. Restaurants galore.
Would go back in a heart beat.
This apartment in the Latin quarter is near everything. Accessible to Metro. E trying you need is nearby. Georges was responsive to all requests and questions.
In the neighborhood Union Square. Steak House. Mde Louise. All great places for good and drink. Local gym near by if you’re inclined.
I’ll be booking a month again next year!
Great location in Latin Quarter if you can handle 4th fl walkup
This is a small apartment smack in the heart of the Latin Quarter of Paris on a street lined with cafes and restaurants. Only two challenges. Three flights of stairs up to 4th floor, and the evenings can be noisy (although you get used to it, especially if you tire yourself out doing Paris). Very handy to have a washer, especially for longer stays. Saved money using grocery store on same street, making own meals half the time. Recommend to anyone for sure.
It is a great location in the middle of the Latin Quarter on Rue de la Harpe. It is within easy walking distance to many attractions and very close to the Saint Michel Metro station. There are dozens of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes within a minute or two. There are two grocery stores, the Diagonal and a Monoprix, within a short walk as well.
The apartment is small but perfect for 2 or 3 people. There is some evening noise at the restaurants below the apartment until 11 or 12 pm on some nights, but it is generally quiet in the mornings except on garbage days. We stayed for four weeks and did not find the noise much of a problem. We loved being in the middle of everything and would definitely recommend staying here.
I enjoyed this centrally located apartment in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the 5th. Great view of the street and the rooftops. It was spacious for me but as I was staying for a month I really enjoyed having a separate bedroom. The bed was very confortable. Georges was very responsive when I had questions. Due to my extended stay the washing machine was very convenient. Transportation access is fantastic: two metro lines and two RER stations are nearly at the door. If you are arriving from or leaving for the airport here’s a tip: there is an elevator from RER B platform leading to a small street (no stairs) sortie 6-Xavier Privat. Loved this place.
The location is great for going to museums and exploring Paris. The apartment was convenient for us; I used the bed in the bedroom and my friend slept on the couch in the living room; the beds were comfortable. The living room was over a restaurant and there was some noise as they set it up in the morning; I did not hear that in the bedroom. The weather in December was not pleasant and the stone floor was cold despite adequate heating; for winter months one needs bedroom shoes with a thick sole. We dealt with George who was very helpful and patient with us when we pestered him with questions. It would be helpful if there were an info sheet. In other places I stayed there were some supplies: tea, coffee, salt, sugar, olive oil. Here we had to get all that ourselves. Also, the spiral staircase to the 3d floor was a bit of a challenge.
Anyway, on balance it was a lovely place and we enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed a long-stay of one month during November 2022 and it was wonderful! Be prepared to walk up 4 flights of stairs (you get used to it), but the building is very secure and right in the heart of the Latin Quarter.
We initally had some issues with the washing machine but Samuel (who greeted us upon arrival) was wonderful in addressing the issue and was always very quick in his responses.
It was ideal to be able to leave our building and have restaurants and shops at our fingertips, and be right around the corner from Notre Dame and the Seine. The location is perfect! Also, the bed is extremely comfortable.
Overall, we could not be happier with our stay and the month went by way too fast!
Apt could not be better situated. We unfortunately had a heat wave during the month we were there (no AC in the apt). Lots of fans were available though. We made the best of it and it certainly helped that the location was so convenient. Don’t hesitate to stay here!!
The apartment is excellent for two people. We were there for 10 nights. The bathroom and toilet worked well. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. It's just a block from the St Michel Metro.
We found it to be exciting to be on a very lively street where we could drink and dine until late in the evening.

Georges
Hi many thanks to Giorgio and Georges for renting out their excellent apartment. Location is perfect with less than 3 minute walk to Metro (St Michel), the RER, the Seine and Boulevard Saint-Germain. Apartment was clean and spacious with a great bed and bedroom, heaps of storage, fully equipped kitchen, cool bathroom and separate toilet with washing machine. Close to Monoprix and excellent cafes and brasseries. The apartment made our stay in Paris perfect and memorable. Highly recommended! Regards Steve, Karen and Kimmi.
