We had a wonderful stay in this charming and spacious apartment in the Latin Quarter. Located in a beautiful historic building, the apartment is full of light thanks to its many windows and offers a true Parisian experience. The space was comfortable, and very well equipped — we especially appreciated the modern, high-pressure shower and the well-appointed kitchen, which had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge plus due to the length of our trip. The location couldn’t be better — tucked into a lively, walkable neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. It felt like everything we wanted to see was just around the corner.A few things to note for future guests: like many older Paris buildings, there’s no elevator, and you do need to climb three flights of stairs (62 steps) to reach the apartment, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues. Also, as is common in Paris, there is no central air conditioning, so during particularly hot summer days, you’ll need to rely on open windows for ventilation. It was fine for us, but something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to heat. The apartment is the host’s primary residence, so you’ll find personal items in the space — this made it feel homey and lived-in, though it may not suit someone looking for a more neutral or hotel-like setting.Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
