This stylish, sunny apartment is fresh and new, and beautifully outfitted with finest linens and towels, glassware and all the comforts you would want. There’s a kitchenette with a small refrigerator and convection cooktop, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. But while the place is super comfy, this spot is best suited as a launching pad to go explore Portland. Set in the heart of Munjoy Hill, on Portland’s East End it’s just a few blocks to the gorgeous Eastern Prom park with the most stunning views of the water, and a trail system that winds down to East End Beach, a scenic waterfront park including walking trails, boat launch, kayak and stand up paddle board rentals. A short walk up the street will put you in the East End’s sweet little downtown, Belleville (exquisite bakery), Hilltop Coffee, Lolita Vinoteca & Asador, The Blue Spoon restaurant, and Rosemont Market & Bakery. One half mile away, about a 10-15 minute walk to the stretch of Washington Avenue that has several of Portland’s best restaurants and bars including Drifter’s Wife, Minato, Cong Tu Bot, Terlingua, The Shop by Island Creek Oysters, and Oxbow Brewing & Bottling, Maine Craft Distilling, Hardshore Distilling Company, and Maine Mead Works tasting rooms. The apartment’s location is also just a short walk or Uber ride to Portland's Old Port, and greater Portland’s remarkable restaurant scene, breweries, boutiques and galleries. A great spot to use as jumping off point for Portland for my husband and me. The space was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Had all we needed for basic cooking. Check-in and parking all straightforward. Happily recommend to other travelers.
We loved our time at this property in Portland. It was exactly as described and very convenient to everything downtown. It was very clean and the perfect size for our 3 night stay in Portland. Susan is a lovely host and was easy to get in touch with from the beginning of the rental process. We would definitely stay here again.
We returned to Portland for our 20th wedding anniversary. Loved the accommodations! The place is perfectly located within walking distance of so many of the attractions in Portland!
We absolutely loved our stay here! Cool modern apartment in walking distance from everything we wanted to see in Portland! Neighborhood was very quiet at night as well. Hopefully one day we can come back!
I can’t say enough good things about this property. It is a quick walk into all the hotspots, great access to the Eastern Promenade, and a relaxing place to rest and recharge. This was the middle of a long trip and some nights it was just nice to get back early and recharge in a place that felt like
Home. Susie was wonderful, kind, and communicative. Hopefully we’ll be back again
This is a small but well appointed space within a 20 minute walk of everything downtown has to offer. The host is responsive and friendly. The space felt newly renovated and spotlessly clean! Off-street parking was offered, but we have a large vehicle. The on-street parking was easy and unrestricted, which was a huge plus. If we were to visit Portland again, we’d definitely consider returning to this place.
We stayed here as it was in close proximity to downtown Portland. Love the apartment as it was beautifully decorated. My wife felt captured it the area and it was very nice. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We would recommend. We did not climb up the ladder to the loft bed.

A very small and compact space
We did not realize there were very steep stairs inside this space. There was a handrail inside but once you got outside to the porch area there was no defined edge and no hand rail. My husband fell with a suitcase on those steps and into a plant and a chair sitting on the patio. He is on blood thinners and sustained several deep cuts requiring multiple trips to the pharmacy for bandages. The upstairs renters kept us up all night with arguments. I would caution the owner to at least advise of the stairs and to install a rail on the outside steps.
Everything was as good or better than expected. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We did not try the bed in the loft. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The books and knick knacks were a pleasure to poke through. The location is really hard to beat. It’s a pleasant walk down into Old Port and all of the offerings of Washington Ave are even closer. There are bakeries and a market nearby. I’m sure we’ll be back!
This is a lovely and accurately described apartment. It was clean and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable and the shower amazing. The decor was unique and engaging. We enjoyed the neighborhood with its easy walking distance to the park and port area. We will return.
Wow! We loved everything about our visit to Portland, having only passed through the city, previously. The apartment lives up to the photos and is convenient to many things, if you don’t mind walking a few blocks or driving and parking. We did both and were able to visit a variety of areas around Portland.
We enjoyed several of Susan’s recommendations for breakfast and dinner and we also took advantage of a historical walking tour in The old port area.
Easily walkable to the Old Port, Eastern Promenade and restaurants galore! Apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable. Host was gracious and helpful!
Location is perfect, you can walk everywhere if you don’t mind some hills and avoid the pricey parking in town. Can get to all restaurants on foot and very close to trails for running or walking. The trail around Back Bay is great for runners. Great neighborhood vibe and not right in the middle of things so it’s quiet too. Quick nap in the loft or read a book. Highly recommended, come hungry the food scene is off the charts.
