About this property

Breathtaking scenario of the Islands of Giglio, Montecristo, Corsica and Elba.

House, with 4 bedrooms and ensuites, in Cala Piccola an exclusive seaside compound resort hidden in the typical Mediterranean vegetation offers a unique view of the islands, particularly, at sunset. 8 guests may choose from 2 master bedrooms and 2 rooms with bunk beds. A spacious drawing room with an annexed TV room gives onto a garden that looks straight at the entrance of the small port on the Is. of Giglio. Comfortably seated under a grapevine drinks are a must at sunset or at night while spotting the stars and navigation lights of boats as they sail by. The garden sports a sun umbrella that allows for quiet enjoyable breakfasts in the shade as well as lunches or moonlit BBQs. At the other end of it a large fig tree satisfies most guests's appetite.
The upholstery is by Valentino, the cutlery is for 8 plus guests. Linen, as bathroom towels, is changed every week. The kitchen has: 4 induction hobs with an electric oven, a microwave, kettle, toaster and other appliances besides a dishwasher and washing machine and a stainless steel basin. The beach club is free for 4 adults and kids under 12, which is no mean thing considering their cost and is situated in a beautiful "small bay" (Cala piccola) it boasts crystal clear water, a Bar, Restaurant, ping pong and a toddlers playground. The said adults are entitled to a Sun Umbrella, 2 sun pads & 2 deck chairs which are included in the rental price. The rental sum is also comprehensive of a regular mini van shuttle service to the beach club for all 4 guests. (June to end of Sept.) One may drive down to the beach or walk the mile-long descent amid pine trees and rhododendrons overlooking the view of the bay and the Island of Iannutri. A private car park under the house hosts 2 small cars. It's an ideal place for families or romantic couples. Golfers note there is a beautiful 18 hole golf course just 20 minutes away. Historical sites are to be found within a quarter of an hour, an hour or 2 hrs from Rome. 2 beautiful sand beaches are also reachable in about 20 minutes. A wood, on one of the beaches, sheds roe-deers. Ideal for bicycle rides that may be rented on site. Sailing, riding and boating facilities may also be found at nearby Porto Santo Stefano. Most of our guests say it was a memorable holiday, others the best.

Meraviglioso Argentario

Una vacanza super rilassante in un posto magico. Vista sull’isola del Giglio, con bellissimi tramonti. La casa comoda ed arredata da persone con cultura e gusto. Se avrò modo ci tornerò sicuramente.

Ein traumhafter Ort

Das Appartment von Michael und Alexandra ist an einer absolut traumhaften Lage und die beiden sind als Hosts überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend und wir haben so viele Stunden wie möglich dort verbracht. Das Appartment selbst ist schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, alles war super sauber. Die Küche ist voll eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir sind nur zu zweit gereist und hatten somit mehr als genug Platz. Im Master-Bedroom kann man vom Bett aus aufs Meer schauen - einfach genial. Die kleine Badebucht der Community ist schön und in der Vorsaison (Anfang Juni) ruhig. Leider gab es eine Baustelle in der direkten Nachbarschaft und da bis Mitte Juni noch gebaut werden durfte (danach ist das nicht mehr erlaubt), war es an einzelnen Tagen etwas laut. Wir haben diese Tage genützt für Ausflüge und Beach-Besuche. Wir werden wieder kommen, der Ort ist einfach zu schön und wir haben uns von der ersten Stunde an wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank, Alexandra und Michael, für die wunderbare Woche.

Soggiorno complessivamente ottimo, pur con qualche elemento critico.

La casa, piacevole, luminosissima è arredata e attrezzata in modo tutto sommato confortevole; è collocata in posizione splendida, prospiciente l'Isola del Giglio e il panorama che vi si gode si spinge verso l'Isola di Montecristo e poi La Corsica, nonché verso l'Isola d'Elba, il che fa sì che i tramonti (uno diverso dall'altro, in dieci giorni) siano splendidi. L'unico elemento critico è relativo alla descrizione collocata sul sito, che contiene una sostanziale imprecisione, relativa al numero delle camere: il locale con i (due) letti a castello è troppo angusto per essere definito una «camera»: quantunque dotato del suo bagno privato (che, paradossalmente, è più grande del locale con i letti), non è dotato di una finestra, nemmeno di una finestrella, ma solo di una presa d'aria. Per dieci giorni due ragazzi di quattordici e dodici anni, senza godersela, ci possono anche stare: ma di più, direi di no. In definitiva, si tratta, secondo il mio parere, di una imprecisione severa perché potrebbe incidere sulla scelta della casa. A dispetto di ciò, il nostro soggiorno è stato piacevolissimo, anche per la possibilità di usufruire dei servizi del Consorzio della Cala Piccola che è efficiente e consente un pieno godimento del mare della Cala e del relativo stabilimento, vale a dire di uno dei siti più belli e piacevoli dell'Argentario.

Un panorama da sogno

È stato un bellissimo soggiorno. La casa è pulita e avere un bagno privato per ogni camera è molto comodo. La vista è stupenda e il proprietario è disponibile e gentile. Peccato per la lontananza del mare, ma eravamo stati avvertiti.

Splendide vacanze

Casa spaziosa arredata con gusto, grande vista sul mare e l’isola del Giglio: natura e silenzio. Molto importante l’accesso al mare nella bellissima Cala Piccola. Servizi impeccabili e tutto ben organizzato nonostante il covid anche per l’accesso allo stabilimento balneare. Michael, il padrone di casa, sempre gentile e disponibile.

Vacanza con vista mozzafiato

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza. La casa é spaziosa, in cucina si trova tutto per preparare buoni piatti. La terrazza é grande con una vista stupenda. Il mare, che si raggiunge a piedi in ca. 10 minuti é stupendo. Molto cordiale anche il servizio nello stabilimento. Michael é gentilissimo e ha fatto tutto per farci trascorrere giorni rilassanti e piacevoli.

Vista incredibile!

Grande spazio aperto dove mangiare e godersi lo splendido panorama di giorno e soprattutto di sera! Casa grande ed accogliente, cucina con tutto il necessario e ben attrezzata. Molto belle le due stanze matrimoniali, con i rispettivi bagni "privati", forse un po sacrificata la stanza con i due letti a castello, bella l'idea della dependance, aggiungerei solo un ventilatore per le nottate più calde. Molto disponibile e cordiale Mike! Comodo raggiungere la spiaggia di Cala Piccola (con 4 ingressi + ombrellone gratuiti) e cala del Bove (scogli), molto più ardua cala del Gesso (40 min a piedi), per il resto è necessario l'utilizzo dell'auto.

panorami indimenticabili

la casa ha grandi spazi esterni ed interni suddivisi in modo ottimale anche per due nuclei familiari.Panorami e tramonti danno uno spettacolo diverso ed irripetibile ogni sera, da sentirne nostalgia al rientro a casa. Purtroppo le spiagge più belle non sono semplici da raggiungere ma ne vale la pena andarci, a parte cala piccola che passa la navetta sotto casa.Il proprietario è una persona molto disponibile per qualunque cosa.

De belles vacances sur un site magnifique

La maison est spacieuse et bien située avec une vue imprenable sur l'ile de Giglio. Le propriétaire est charmant et très accueillant, de plus, il parle très bien français. Le seul bémol, la cuisine est un peu "vieillote". Nous recommandrerions cette location.

Nel verde sospesa sul mare

A pochi km da Porto Santo Stefano, immersa nel verde, questo immobile arredato con gusto, pulito e in buono stato, regala comfort abitativo con stanze accoglienti e bagni in stanza. Soggiorno spazioso che si affaccia sulla bella e ampia terrazza che regala vista sensazionale sul mare e sul Giglio. Tramonti strepitosi. Il mare splendido è raggiungibile a piedi con una passeggiata di 5 minuti o con navetta ed è una bellissima cala con bar e ristorante.

Beautiful position with stunning views

We have stayed in this property on numerous occasions over the last 10 years. The house itself is old fashioned but clean & comfortable. The reason we keep returning is the views are fabulous as is the Beach Club nearby. I highly recommend the restaurant at the Beach Club! We also enjoy the nearby small harbour town of Porto San Stefano. The man responsible for the property, Michael, is a highly entertaining & mildly eccentric English/Italian!!
