Perfect location. Easy to get to Golden, Lake Louise, Columbia ice fields and so much more. Quiet and cozy with a fireplace and camp fire pit for roasting marshmallows. All round great experience
A lovely cabin in a lovely location. Comfortable and well-situated between Golden and Field with trails and sights within easy driving distance. A short drive from the highway and very quiet. Clean with complete household necessities. Tina, the host, always responded to emails quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend this venue!
Great place and location. Views are outstanding and the river is right there. Close to golden and Yoho both so perfect for our itinerary. A washer and ac would be nice but the listing is accurate.
Property is nice and clean. Good views of the mountains. Unfortunately cabins are 1/2 mile from railroad tracks and we could hear the freight trains as they honked their horns as they approached the road crossing. Yes, freight trains run during the night. 12:30, 2 ish and 5:30AM. If you’re a heavy sleeper may not wake you but it did wake us.
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The kitchen had everything that was needed. The rooms very cozy and the living are was spacious. Definitely a place we would come back.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is clean, lovely, well equipped and in a beautiful location, and overall everything was very good. The only thing is that the layout is perhaps not ideal for two adult couples. The sleeping area upstairs/mezzanine is completely open to the kitchen and living room, so there is no possibility of closing a bedroom door. This means that privacy and sleeping arrangements can be a little challenging when travelling as two couples. The cabin is probably better suited to a family with children who are old enough to manage the stairs and mezzanine safely. There is an open staircase, so it may not be ideal for very young children because of the risk of falls. This is not meant as a criticism of the cabin, but simply as information that might be useful to other guests. In hindsight, the layout can probably be seen from the pictures, but we mainly noticed “2 bedrooms” when booking, while the rest of the cabin looked so lovely that we didn’t look closely enough at the sleeping arrangements.Apart from these considerations, we had a very good stay.

Beautiful, warm, comfortable, welcoming, clean, perfect for a family.
We loved it so much, we booked another stay. The cabin was as described, very spacious and in a great location. it allowed us to fit our family of 5 easily, with space for more if we wanted. We loved that there was a few items in the kitchen we could use, such as oil, salt, pepper and coffee.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay in Cabin 1. The area is so beautiful. We were very comfortable and there were enough towels and linens for the 7 of us. We found everything we needed to make our meals and everything was in working order. There was a number to text to request firewood and Danny was so friendly and delivered it for us quickly. My kids had fun watching the swallows swoop around catching bugs to feed their babies. Everyone in the cabins around us seemed respectful and we never had any issues with people violating the late night noise policy which was awesome. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for having us Tina & Steve!

Excellent setting 20 miles East of Golden and within 2 miles of Entrance to Yoho. Rustic, overall clean cabin. Although the property technically has accurate stuff as described, the second bathroom (attached to loft upstairs) bath is a tub that is part of the loft bed-space without privacy (not enclosed) and it doesn’t have a shower… essentially negating us from using it as a second shower/bath. The cabin doesn’t have A/C… which was an issue with us comfortably sleeping, even with outside night temps dipping into high 50’s (we like to sleep with inside temp of 65), especially in the upstairs loft. There are 2 oscillating fans available. The property host was quite responsive and timely.
