Great house and location

Wonderful house, great pool and everything we needed. Owners were really helpful and Francoise met us and showed us where everything was. House was modern, clean, spacious and really great location near great walks, runs, a lovely park and town, supermarket and bus connections if needed. Made some great trips and used pool every day. A lovely house in a great location

We had a lovely stay at La Rochelle. The house was gorgeous - clean, well equipped, modern. The pool and garden were lovely - nicer than the photos!A couple of nights, the was very hot so the house was very warm - fans would have been helpful.The owners were friendly and responsive to emails.There’s loads to do close to the house - La Rochelle, the aquarium, Ile de Ré, the Vendée, and lots of nature reserves. If you like birdwatching, then you can see avocet, ibis, black-winged stilt, turtle dove and more here. Wonderful!A lovely relaxing holiday - thank you!

Very good property

The property is exactly as advertised and is very comfortable. We suffered a little without air conditioning during the very warm nights but that isn’t advertised so it was not unexpected. A car is essential to access La Rochelle at your convenience although a local bus does make the trip. Overall an excellent offering.

Vacances douces et très agréables

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison idéalement située, à la fois dans le bourg mais très très calme. Elle est confortable, très joliment décorée, lumineuse, spacieuse tout en ayant un effet cocon avec une configuration en L sur son jardin clos et sa piscine au centre. Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants, chacun a trouvé sa place et nous avons pu cuisiner et passer de merveilleux repas à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur ainsi que nous l’aimons. L’accueil, le départ ainsi que les échanges avec les propriétaires furent généreux et attentionnés. Vraiment, nous avons passé un séjour sur un nuage!

Terrific house close to La Rochelle and supermarket

Great house , surrounding the pool with all the facilities and amenities you’ll need. Supermarket 4 min and very close to nice restaurants practically on the oyster banks. Good communication with the host . Visit Ille de Ré and the aquarium of La Rochelle in the evening!

Très belle résidence moderne avec finitions de qualité et de belles prestations

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire qui nous a offert un petit cadeau de bienvenue et présenté la maison et ses équipements. Nous y résidions à deux couples et chaque couple avait sa salle de bains et nos chambres étaient bien éloignées. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine qui est très bien équipée. La maison est un peu à l'écart, l'avantage, c'est qu'on est bien au calme mais il faut disposer d'une voiture si vous souhaitez profiter pleinement de la magnifique région. Les proprios se sont montrés très dispos lorsque au cours du séjour nous leur avons téléphoné pour une petite info technique. La piscine est chauffée et heureusement car la météo n' était pas tout à fait au beau fixe. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et merci encore à Clément et Dorothee pour votre accueil sympa.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette magnifique maison située dans une rue très calme. Le propriétaire, Clément, était disponible et très attentif à ce que nous passions un bon séjour. Seul petit bémol en ce qui nous concerne : à part un bistrot (très sympa) sur la place, pas de petits commerces accessibles à pied.

Nous avons passez un excellent séjour dans cette maison. Le propriétaire a tout fait pour nous mettre à l’aise. La maison est très agréable, au calme, en très bon état et joliment décorée. Prestation premium! Nous étions avec nos 2 enfants en bas âge. Nous avons apprécié la maison de plein pied, les chambres bien séparées de la partie jour, la piscine très bien sécurisée (volet électrique), une foule d’équipements et de jouets pour les enfants de 0 à 12 ans et plus! Par ailleurs, un vrai fond de cuisine disponible était un plus. Nous avons pu faire des activités tous les jours dans les environs et le centre de La Rochelle est à 15min en voiture. Nous conseillons vivement cette location. Soyez respectueux des lieux et remplacez le fond de cuisine que vous utilisez pour que les propriétaires continuent à le mettre à disposition : nous comptons bien y revenir!

We loved staying here. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and well equipped and the children loved the pool. Nieul-sur-Mer and only has one bar which has limited opening times and no shops in the centre.

Merci Tabitha pour vos retours positifs En effet Nieul sur Mer est un village très calme, heureusement, on y trouve tous les commerces nécessaires à 3 min du Centre Bourg et de merveilleux restaurants face au pont de l'île de Ré. Pour les bars et la vie nocturne, il vaut mieux aller sur La Rochelle: 10 min ou sur l'île de Ré!
