A single street lined with picturesque beach cottages ends with an oceanfront community pool, pavilion and boardwalk directly to the beach. The community features an oceanfront swimming pool, private beach access, and uniquely designed, colorful beach cottages.

Oleander Cottage, located at 19 Coast Cottage Lane, has been beautifully decorated and is one of the most recently built homes in Coast Cottages. This luxury property features an elevator, four bedrooms, each with its own full bath, and sleeps 12 with stunning views from each balcony or window.

The first floor of this home boasts 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and spacious den with sectional seating. The second floor of the property showcases the perfect open concept. The spectacular front balcony provides ample space for visiting with the perfect outdoor living area and separate dining area. The space sprawls through an enormous living room to a chef's kitchen and in to a dining space, while concluding on a back balcony. On the third floor of this home you will find an exquisite master suite which engulfs the entire floor. With a private Juliet balcony overlooking the serene walk to the beach, all the way to the jetted Jacuzzi tub sunlight covers everything from the vaulted ceilings to the wood floors. Just outside the entrance to the master suite, find another generous back balcony which harbors a spiral stair case to the best view in the house. Above the palm trees and other homes, find a beautiful view of the ocean. Captivating breezes makes this spot irresistible. Everywhere you turn inside this beautiful seaside home, you'll find wonderful, surprising details.

This home has wireless internet access. Enjoy Hulu Live TV on all TVs through out the house in the place of traditional cable.

The community pool is heated from Friday through Sunday from the end of September until mid-May, as well as many holiday weeks. Other days, the pool may be heated with prior request for $50 per day. Please inquire for details.

Please note that the occupancy limit for the home also represents your occupancy limit for the common areas. In addition this property STRICTLY prohibits any parties, events, gatherings that would exceed the occupancy of the home. The fireplace is not operational but decorative only.
Parking for this cottage is limited to three spaces. This policy is not flexible and management is not responsible for locating additional spaces.

This was the perfect house for 4 of us on a golf trip. The house was clean and lots of space for all of us. The location is great. Close to the beach and restaurants.We really enjoyed it and the management of this home is very good. Easy check in and out and communication is perfect.

Great house!

This is a great house. Location is perfect, easy walk to the beach. Only taking off a star for the ac upstairs. It seemed to be struggling. Property manager was willing to send someone out but it wasn’t hot outside so it was ok. I’d just recommend fixing it before summer next year. Overall we’d stay here again.

Fabulous Condo at the beach!

Our group was in town to celebrate my brother’s wedding, so I booked a condo large enough to accommodate my husband and myself, my older sister, and my brother’s son (my nephew) with his wife and 3 young children. There was plenty of room for all of us to feel like we had our own space and also great gathering rooms! The living room and kitchen were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, including board games and lots of jigsaw puzzles! There were several outdoor seating options in various locations around the condo, but our favorite two were the back porch (off the kitchen) with 3 rockers for shady mornings over coffee, and the front outdoor living room (off the living room) with seating for everyone and room to spare. Hodnett Cooper does a great job with managing all the details. We had a problem with the door code not working on our last night there, and the after-hours person answered quickly and got us to someone who was able to get us back into our unit quickly and efficiently. The elevator was WONDERFUL for getting my luggage up to the top floor, where my husband and I shared one of the two master bedrooms in the condo. While we didn’t use the elevator much to travel between floors (I believe in climbing stairs whenever possible), my nephew’s 8-year old step-son was fascinated by having a private elevator. He rode it with a willing adult whenever he got the chance! This beach community has a great pool area, and the beach is an easy walk as well. We’ll be back!

Excellent location, above average home

This was our first trip to SSI. We LOVED it! The island is very private and not overrun with tourists/franchise chains. Located on East Beach, this is prime real estate for SSI beaches. Walking/biking distance to Pier Village. The island has plenty of safe bike paths. The beach at low tide is apx. 300 yards from boardwalk to water; 200 yards at high tide. Pools are adequate but could have been more enjoyable if they were bigger in size due to the number of guests using them (I'm being knit-picky here). The home is very nice and equipped with good amenities. The ice maker is a bonus and helps keep the coolers full. Furniture is the only negative. The quality/comfort is average, but, hey, it's a rental. I get it. Plenty of dishes/pots/pans/utensils/appliances/towels. But if you like to cook, bring your good pans/knives ;) The location of the home with respect to the pool pavilion is an easy walk. If comparing other Coast Cottage homes, consider the parking arrangements. Some of the homes only offer parallel parking, which can be tricky for some, especially with large SUV's. Oleander home has head-in parking which is great. We found the area very easy to get around. Plenty of options with regards to restaurants, grocery, shops, pharmacies etc. Nearly all of the restaurants are locally owned/operated. While they're smaller in size, they make up for it in quality and value of the meal. We never had a bad meal. The property manager was great to work with! He was easily accessible, responded to emails, gave good recommendations of the area and greeted us shortly after arrival to ensure a successful stay. Overall, this was a great place and SSI is a wonderful area. We will definitely consider Coast Cottages when we book next time.

The perfect house!

This was our second time staying in the Oleander Cottage and we loved every minute of it. There was plenty of room for our families. I love that there is a separate area where the boys could play video games and watch tv. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The property manager Patrick was super helpful when we had a small issue with the door. We cannot wait to come back next year!

Magical!

From the minute we walked into this luxurious home, our stress melted away. The "cottage" is appointed perfectly, there was not a thing we needed that the owners had not already thought of. We had two families, with 3 teenage boys, two couples and a grandma, and everyone had their own room and their own bathroom! The elevator made it perfect for loading and unloading, and helped with an older housemate. This home was great for morning coffee on the sun drenched deck, watching the sunrise or sunset on the widow's walk, enjoying group meals indoors or out doors. The kitchen is fabulous for bringing people together for greta meals. Being only a few steps to the pool or beach made it easy for everyone to come and go in this warm paradise. The management company checking in regularly to make sure we didn't need anything, which was very nice. The community is contained enough for our teens to walk around safely and neighbors were all very friendly. There is plenty to do in the area, weather you have a car or want to walk/ride a bike. The only thing we didn't like, was leaving! Can't wait to return.

Spacious Beach Cottage

This home is really not a cottage -- with 4 bedrooms, each with it own bath, a downstairs & upstairs living area, plus huge kitchen, dining inside & out on the deck, 4 decks, outdoor grill & shower, plus elevator -- it's perfect !!! Not to mention being only steps away from the 2 pools, sunning deck, & private boardwalk to beach!! It just doesn't get any better! This eastern part of St Simon's Island has a beach at all tides, with tidewater pools for the kids, & with several top notch restaurants within walking / biking distance, you really don't need a car. Unless the nearby shops are calling your name!! The management company is nearby & constantly checking to make sure that everything is clean & ready for your relaxing visit, so book now & rest assured that this will be one of your favorite vacation spots!!

Amazing vacation paradise!

This luxurious house is extremely well appointed and the owners have thought of every detail for you to enjoy. The Widows Walk is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise and set every day. Being a couple of steps to the pool/beach makes it so easy to enjoy the day without having to pack up everything. It's spacious surroundings allows comfortable group gathering areas, while giving everyone enough person space for guests to enjoy their vacation their own way. The elevator was a huge help for loading and unloading everything and helping grandma get up to the various levels. Thank you Oleander for being the "home" to another memorable vacation. We can't wait to come back!!

top Notch Destination!

We found this property to be appointed perfectly to welcome guests and make the stay one to remember. the decor is both " beachy" and "cozy." The amenities were most complete and really left nothing out to ensure rest and relaxation. The property was very clean and well maintained. Great Week Despite Tropical Storm

We just returned from a week in St Simons staying in the Oleander Cottage, which isn't really a cottage, but a large, comfortable three-level house. We loved the set up, with the master on the top level (where my wife and I stayed) and three bedrooms on the bottom level, where we accommodated three college-age kids and my elderly mother. The elevator made moving luggage and groceries very easy and was a big help for my mother. The master suite was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was open and well-appointed. The living areas were very comfortable and the outdoor deck was nice and had a decent view. We were a short walking distance from the pool and beach. We did get a lot of rain last week, but were able to make the best of it thanks to the comfortable accommodations. I would highly recommend for a group of up to 8 people.

An Amazing Beach Cottage that has it all.

Oleander Cottage at Coast Cottages is a hidden gem on the Georgia coast in the quaint beach community of St. Simons Island. Oleander is a beautifully decorated family cottage that easily handled our group of 10 including 4 kids. The setup of the house is amazing with a private master bedroom and bath on the top floor, a living area with kitchen, dining room and 2 decks on the 2nd floor and 3 bedrooms with baths plus a small living room on the first floor. We were all able to spread out and utilize the entire house without ever feeling crowded. The deck on the roof with views of the ocean was a special treat. We loved the location. Just steps to the two pools right on the property and a private boardwalk to the best part of the beach. We were able to park our cars and just enjoy our vacation. The cottage is within walking distance to some great restaurants including Crab Daddies which was our personal favorite. We even snuck into the bar at the King and Prince for a few libations. We had a great time with our families and we would recommend Oleander Cottage to anyone looking to upgrade their vacation experience. You will love the time you spend here.

Great beach getaway!

The location was perfect. Easy walk from the cottage to the two swimming pools and the miles of beach, accessible at high and low tide. The 2 1/2 year olds with us loved it. There's no kiddie pool, but the nearby Neptune water park was perfect for the little ones. The house has everything you could ask for. Plenty of room, large, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, large gas grill. huge deck, Nintendo Wii, WiFi, small rooftop balcony. Perfect spot for a beach trip to St. Simons! Oleander Cottage

My family and I have vacationed on St. Simons for 9 years. We have stayed in three different Coast Cottages and this is by far the most pleasant and relaxing. The pictures on the website capture the beauty of this property. Access to the beach and pool are very convenient, especially for children. Our favorite restaurants this year were: Crabdaddies, Crab Shack, Iguana and Catch 228.

A great vacation!

We had a wonderful time. We have stayed at two other cottages in this complex but definitely enjoyed this one the most. The decor was very nice. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had 6 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. Easy walk to the beach, beautiful views. I highly recommended this cottage. (The elevator is very handy too for luggage, groceries, etc.)
