HISTORY By the upper Brazos River in Northern New Mexico, at the base of the famous Brazos Cliffs, our cabin resides in a cabin community dating back to the 1930’s. The village began with the Brazos Lodge and 12 cabins, some which are still in use today. The area was incorporated in the 1960’s with lots being sold and cabins built over the years. Our cabin was built in 1974, from local materials acquired at the old mill in nearby Chama, NM and stone from the nearby quarry.

Got to watch deer, wild turkey, and birds all from the deck. Cozy wood burning stove kept us toasty during our stay. Gorgeous mountain views. Quiet area.

Everything advertised and MORE!!
We were met by mule deer at the front door upon arrival like they were neighborhood pets. Amazing views of mountains around you. Very nice area with beautiful privately owner cabins and lodges scattered about. Not crowded at all and felt we were the only ones out there. Interior is clean and as advertised. Will definitely stay again!
