About this property

Glamping Back in Time

If the idea of falling asleep under the stars to the sound of crickets and roasting marshmallows around a campfire appeals to you, but the frustration of pitching a tent and sleeping on the uncomfortably bumpy ground does not, glamping, is your ticket to experiencing the wonders of camping and still getting a good night's sleep!

The Catawaba Trail Wagon has a king size bed with a 8" memory foam mattress as well as a set of bunk beds with memory foam mattresses as well. There is a table, mini fridge, and a coffee pot. The Wagon has electricity with plug ins, USB ports, Heat & Air!

**If you are bringing horses you MUST call us to book stalls**

There are no bathrooms in the Wagon but our bathhouse is located a minute walk from them. Each bathhouse has 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 3 showers. There are also sinks with COLD water located behind each one.

Amazing

Donna and Shawn were amazing. The property was clean, friendly and safe. We stayed in one of the covered. wagons and really enjoyed everything the property had to offer. We “glamped”, cooked on open fire, fished and hiked. We really enjoyed everything about this property and will defiantly go back.

Our family has owned and operated a full service equestrian facility in Connecticut for the past 23 years. Offering boarding, lessons, trail rides, training, pony parties, summer camp, and therapeutic programs. We are excited to have our horses here with us and offer guided trail rides in the big south fork. Having been life long residents of Connecticut, after a serious health scare last year. Amy and Jon decided to embrace the saying, that life is too short to not live it to the fullest! We fell in love with True West seeing it online and after visiting fell in love with the area. We packed up the kids and the animals to start a new adventure. Combining our love of horses and the out doors this was an opportunity that felt meant to be.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood and community here are amazing!!

What makes this property unique

True west is like stepping onto a movie set, you really feel like you have gone back in time. Although the wifi and amenities say differently. Photo opportunities are unlike any other.
