Thank you Jefferson for keeping us posted with the road closer and storm condition on our day of arrival. Very helpful. Great cabin.

Thank you Anna. Not only do we try to alert guests of pending storms both for safety and skiing fun, but when events come to town we try and alert everyone of those as well. In summer for example, there are concerts almost every weekend in the village area. We never really know who is playing, but we do know if it is Rock, Pop, Jazz, etc. The Margarita Festival is one of my favorites and you may find me tasting tequilas and noshing on chips while I listen to the Latin sounds. Cheers for now.

Family Ski Trip

We had a great time staying here. Check in and out was very easy. Everything we needed was readily available in the kitchen. Relaxing after a long snow day by the fireplace was perfect. Lastly, this cabin is centrally located to everywhere we went in Mammoth.

Thank you for noticing that the cabin really is centrally located. While we may be swayed, it is equal distance between the slopes, the village and the town. It makes getting around so easy.

Mammoth Weekend

Overall a beautiful house and location in Mammoth. Our family was very pleased with the layout of the house and the location. We especially enjoyed the pool table. Since the house is rather large, we enjoyed the ability to spread out or spend time together as needed.

Hi-end resort property!

Of the 10 or so places we've stayed in Mammoth, this unit ties for the very best. It is well located, well appointed, and conveniently laid out. There is plenty of space to gather, to relax, and to sleep. There are TV's everywhere, including two full living room/TV areas, in addition to a billiards room. Jefferson was a pleasure before, during, and after our stay.

mammoth stay

it was a great house for our group. the air conditioning was definitely a plus. House was well equipped for a large group/family vacation. Only negative, some of the showers were not cleaned properly and you definitely need to bring more paper products...towels and toilet paper. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Family vacation

I felt the house was overall ok, nothing wrong in particular. The grill was very dirty and we couldn't even use it. Hot tub was ok, but too small for the size of the home. Loved the location.
Stayed 3 nights in Jun 2022

Appreciate the comments. We too would love a bigger hot tub, it sits 6 people, but that is the largest allowable on the deck. But the view from the bubbling water is gorgeous!

Epic Skiing

Booked this house for our immediate family, our 2 sons, their wives and two sets of twins. The house fit all 10 of us perfectly, was clean and well equipped as we’re a foodie fam. Bus pickup for skiing/snowboarding was right at the corner. Had to shovel out the hot tub due to huge amounts of snow but that made the experience even better, kinda like a hot tub igloo.
Stayed 7 nights in Mar 2023

Hot Tub Igloo., LOL. Yes it was. This was the epic year for snow, about 600 inches and everything was buried including the ski area, which made for great skiing. Glad you had a good time. You know where to find me for next trip!

Hi Jefferson, with our deepest gratitude from myself and my family, thank you! The house was everything advertised and we were very happy with everything. Hopefully, when we make our plans for next year the property is still available and we can return here again. The only things that we found that were not up to par, were the sliding glass door on the living room level was very difficult to open and close. The wooden blinds didn’t always come down and finally the squeegee in the upstairs shower did not clean well as the rubber was broken in the middle portion of the squeegee. Thanks again for everything Max and Monica and family.
Stayed 3 nights in Mar 2026
Response from VrboOwner on 24 Apr 2026
Thanks for your kind words. I agree the sliding glass door to the patio is hard to slide It's big and the double-panes make it heavy, but it does keep the cold out. I hope you enjoyed the special BBQ tools I got for you since you asked. I always try to help guests when they have special requests. I'll be around next season, so be sure to look me up.

Perfect home for comfort while exploring all that Mammoth has to offer

Easy check-in. Comfy beds. Large space - roomy living, dining, and kitchen space. Loved the small deck with barbecue. We thought it might be loud being so close to main road and golf course, but it wasn’t at all. Convenient to Mammoth attractions and to the grocery store. Highly recommend and would happily stay here again!
