Spacious ranch style open floor plan ,located on a corner lot. With lots of parking and space for 2 boats.. There are three bedrooms, with sleeper sofa.- Sleeps 8. Two bathrooms, a laundry room, a large fully modernized kitchen, a large fully furnished living room and a den. Large backyard with 9-foot deep pool. Six miles from famous New Orleans French Quarter. Chalmette battleground site of the 1812 Battle of New Orleans approximately 1.5 miles. Val Riess baseball complex 2 miles. Gateway to the greatest fishing grounds in America. (Owner's unit attached to main house, used by owner's when in town. This is not part of VRBO rental)

Plenty of Room

Our family had plenty of room enjoyed being at our rental-we were able to get in and out of New Orleans very easily. The owner was very communicative on all steps of the process, including why we were in the rental, letting us know what was going on.

Comfortable and spacious home

Our family had a wonderful stay at this location. The home was very clean and spacious. The location was a short drive from many of the New Orleans activities. Would stay there again! Communication with the host was excellent!

Weekend in NOLA

We stayed at this property for the weekend to watch a Broncos football game. The location was great as well as the area it was in. If we're ever going to watch another game in New Orleans. This property would be a great place to stay.

House was clean and good. Check out of 10am is a bit early but the owner was patient with our party as we waited on Ubers to get us out of there. Overall good experience.

Wonderful family vacation

The home was absolutely wonderful. Every person we talked to said that Chalmette is the safest town in the area and we were comfortable walking to the Fiery Crab (you must try!) and other businesses in the area. The back yard is great and the pool is wonderful on a nice warm day. Mike was very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We got to chat with him when he stopped by to tend to the pool and it was so nice. We will definitely be back!

Great House for NOLA fun

This house was perfect for our getaway to NOLA. We were only 10 minutes or so from the French Quarter and everything we wanted to do. The backyard is huge and inviting. Tha k you gor everything!

NOLA trip

Nice, quiet, and clean place to stay while getting to know New Orleans. It took us about 20-30 minutes to get to the activities we enjoyed while there. I would not hesitate to return.

Awesome Getaway

Our stay was Phenomenal. The house was perfect for us. Super Clean and equipped for what we needed during our stay. Mike was very communitive. He assisted where he could when our flight changed which was a HUGE help. Whomever that was next door never bothered us and we never bothered them. We had a blast! Thanks again for such a spacious beautiful home!

Cleanliness & Privacy Issues

Pool is old & definitely needs a good deep cleaning. The first thing we noticed was the vacuum was in the pool but not doing anything. When reaching out to management/owners of this they advised it ran all night (it clearly did not) and told us to leave it in the pool. Why leave it floating around in the way with it not doing anything? The shower also needed a good deep clean. However, the bedding & kitchen seemed to have had the most attention and was well cleaned. We booked this property for the pool so that was a bit of a let down it itself. There is an attached unit to the property (description says owners stay there when in town). Turns out this is not true and it’s actually a rental. One evening we were relaxing in the pool when we noticed someone peeping through the fence at us then a few more times we saw someone peeping through the window of the attached unit at us. This made us extremely uncomfortable. When reaching out to the owners about this, they first argued and stated nobody was in the unit & they couldn’t do anything about someone looking through the fence. This was extremely concerning beings that you could clearly see people in the unit but they thought nobody should be there?! Turns out, the renter had returned sooner than expected. The owners first seemed to not want to do anything about this so we contacted VRBO who made things right. We checked out the next morning and stayed elsewhere for the remainder of the stay.

We take a family trip ever couple of years this year was New Orleans. The Cozy corner was just the place we were looking for in a quiet neighborhood it had all amenities we needed 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms the kitchen was very well equipped and the pool in the back was the icing on the cake it was nice for our outside activities. The host was also very nice and called me the night before to go over the keyless lock code and to see if.i needed any help with anything else

The house was perfect! The pool was perfect and our host absolutely fantastic. It is in a great location to go to the French Quarter, close to a nice park, and generally in a good neighborhood. It was quiet and peaceful. My son had a flat tire when we went to leave out our first morning here. Our host told us a tire shop was near by, we went to J.LE tire shop and it was super fast and affordable. When we come back to New Orleans, we will definitely try to book this house again!

Quiet Place

My mother recently passed so I was honored to stand in her place at my little cousins High-school graduation. I chose this place because of its vicinity, and the ambience of the pictures. When I arrived, everything was exactly as the Internet express. I was able to be at peace. The place was spotless. One thing that I would change is that I known there was only one TV, I would’ve brought my own. Having to share video games along with TV time was challenging. The swimming pool made up for it. I wish the weather was a little bit warmer, but it still was great. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely book the property again. Thank you for sharing your home.
