About this property
Salmon River waterfront home on 10 acres at Ellis Cove
This is what they’re saying: “What a beautiful home!” “Amazing experience here. The amenities were incredible, the house beautiful - we couldn’t have asked for a better place ... for a family reunion ... and wedding.” “Awesome place to relax and enjoy some quiet in a beautiful house.” “Thank you for such a wonderful place that allowed for life memories to happen for all of us.”
Welcome to The King’s Gathering at Ellis Cove, a custom-built five bedroom, four bathroom craftsman home with modern conveniences combines rustic charm with contemporary comfort. Our home gives our guests access to over 700 feet on the Salmon River. For anglers, our stretch sits between two of the best fishing holes - Wire Hole and Ellis Cove - for salmon and steelhead fishing!
Host up to 12 people our vacation home with 800 sq. ft. additional covered outdoor space. It's perfect for connecting and making memories. Have a larger group? Book our other cabin (VRBO 580833) and between the two you can host up to 24 people like we do for Thanksgiving! Whether your passion is fishing, hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling, riding ATVs (minutes to trailheads), or cross-country skiing, you are never far from the action.
The heart of our home is a two-story great room with views of lush greenery and the wetlands bordering the Salmon River. For the foodies, our fully equipped kitchen or outdoor park-style grill is perfect. Finish your day sharing stories around the wood burning fireplace, lounging in the loft, or out by the fire pit.
On the main level, sleep up to four in two bedrooms: one king bed with full bath and soak-in tub and a queen bed adjacent to bathroom. Upstairs are a bathroom with two bedrooms to sleep up to four on two twin beds and one king bed. In the basement, you can sleep up to six with two bunkbeds (each a twin over queen bed). We also have two workstations if you need to finish up work.
The basement was designed primarily as a staging area for anglers. Equipped with rod holders, wader hooks, and corker mats, it is the perfect place to gear up in comfort during cold days. Rod holders are also available underneath the deck.
To help simplify your stay, we provide bed & bath linens, pots & pans, dishes/glasses/utensils. We use down-alternative duvets to reduce environmental allergens. As such, no animals are permitted and we are smoke-free.
