Walkability was the highlight of our month long stay here. We barely used our car, and that was incredible. The house was clean, perfect size, provided everything we needed, and the hosts are extremely responsive. Highly recommend this property.
The home was exactly as pictured. Very clean and well appointed. The location couldn't be better. I would highly recommend. Management was very responsive (not a given these days) and I was very happy with the experience.
That old real estate saw about location is the most important feature of this sweet cottage.Tucked in a quiet little alleyway of a street belies the fact that you are a five minute stroll from King Street, the heart of Charleston. We honestly regret renting a car for the month because 90% of our trip was accomplished with our feet. The well stocked Target being one of the first stores on King that you reach was priceless for groceries and supplies. The cottage decor was charming and fit the vibe, the high ceilings created a spacious and airy feeling in the great room. We had regional family come in and out and the large dining table in the great room was a fantastic gathering place. The kitchenware was not fancy, but when I say they had everything, I mean everything. Randomly I needed a kitchen scale, and was shocked to see one tucked in a drawer for an example. They nicely stocked the house with the essentials to welcome us in. Paper products and soaps etc. The only thing I reached for that wasn’t there was a knife sharpener. Hint hint. You will not find another whole house with this location advantage at this price on the peninsula, I know because out of curiosity I checked. Can’t wait for next year.
We loved this house! It was a great last minute option and we wished we could have stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable and the house was laid out perfectly.
Communication with the owner was a breeze, answered quickly. Check in was super easy. Place is super adorable and close to King Street. If I had one suggestion it would be to add a king bed.
Everything worked out great and the owner was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend to family and friends with a great location and quality home.
We couldn’t have been more pleased with this house! There was plenty of space for five girls, the location was perfect, and it was so easy to book and checkin. Highly recommend!
Very cozy, in a good way! Could use a wider park area, but understand property allowances. We enjoyed our stay - so easy to short walk for food, drinks, and shopping.
this was a beautiful rental. The location is outstanding right in the middle of the historic district. Every time we needed to go somewhere or finished a tour we were within 10 min of house. The house was very nice. Very well kept and had everything we needed. The property manager was very quick to respond when ever we had a question. Could not ask for a better rental. When we go back this is where we will stay!
Very quaint historic home with recent renovation. Very tasteful furnishings, well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable beds. Just steps from many attractions, including King Street, College of Charleston, etc. Highly recommend!
Great cottage, walkable to everything downtown has to offer! Clean and well appointed for the 3 of us. Communication with the owner/manager was excellent! Thanks for a great stay!
Our family had a great Christmas in Charleston and with Lauren as our host it was made even more special with her suggestions for restaurants that were open on Christmas Eve. We made a fabulous Christmas feast in the kitchen and enjoyed our time together as a family. Lauren's place was a short walking distance to great restaurants, museums, Rainbow Row, and the markets. We arrived early afternoon and Lauren was able to accommodate us - to drop off our bags and settle in, before venturing out to explore. We hope to visit Charleston again and would plan to stay at Lauren's. Great Location! So cozy and comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing your place Lauren.
Amazing stay and everything exceeded our expectations. Owner was very easy to communicate with (and response time was remarkably quick). Cleanliness and amenities were above our expectations. Location is perfect, quick walk to King Street. Would stay here again without hesitation
Clean, comfortable and the perfect location! Lauren was communicative and responded quickly (thanks for the wine!!) For those with a really big SUV or truck, the driveway is a tight fit, but for everyone else, shouldn't be an issue. Again, very cozy home in an excellent location. I'd stay here again without question. Thanks!
Exceptionally comfortable on a quiet street located convenient to everything. Handsomely furnished and decorated and very well appointed with amenities. If you choose Miss Lauren’s house for your Charleston stay, you will not be disappointed.
Very cute home; we came for a wedding and made a long weekend out of it. Home is within walking distance of Charlestown's main streets and highlights. We parked the car for most of the weekend.
The place was perfect for our family of 3. It has an excellent location where you can walk to most of the downtown restaurants, shops and bars. It was very clean and organized. Lauren couldn't have been more helpful. She went out of her way to drop off beach gear for us to borrow.
We were traveling with a 1 year old and they have a high chair and pack and play with a foam mattress. He had plenty of room to play as well. I would definitely stay there again. We loved Charleston.
Great experience with Lauren. She was very accommodating to our needs. Location was great. Amenities were great. All modern appliances! She had lots of extras for us. I would book with her again!
